Tashkent Hotels with Bars

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It is a brand-new hotel, and everything was modern, clean, and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully designed. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The location was convenient, and the facilities were excellent. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others. I look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you for the great hospitality! 😊

The hotel's decor is very grand, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. The staff are all very polite, and the breakfast spread is generous. I do have one suggestion for improvement: the mini-fridge in the room only has a refrigeration function, not a freezer. In a hot city like Tashkent, a freezer would be really useful for keeping ice cream readily available.

The hotel is beautiful, and the location couldn't be more perfect. We had a standard room with a city view, and we liked it. My only complaint is about the bathroom doors—they're sliding doors and were very difficult to open and close; I often needed my husband's help. The breakfasts were fantastic, diverse, and delicious. I was also pleased with the new outdoor pool. There's a park, a mall, and some great restaurants nearby. It was my birthday, and the hotel surprised me with a cake and warm wishes 🫶🏻 Overall, it's a great hotel 👍🏻. My main negative point is regarding the tourist tax: we paid it along with the 100% prepayment. However, at reception, they charged us for it again. In the rush of travel, we didn't realize it immediately. But once we got to our room, we checked our booking and confirmed we had been double-charged. We went back to reception, where they simply told us to sort it out with our agent. We contacted the agent, who then clarified the situation with the hotel. After that, the hotel requested proof of payment *from them* 🙄😧. We provided the receipt and card statement. They confirmed the error and stated that a refund would be processed to our card. The amount isn't large, but such an unpleasant dispute really sours the impression of such a reputable hotel. We checked out on August 6th, and it's already been 10 days, but the refund is still pending.

This is the second time this summer I have stayed at this hotel and everything about it is excellent. From the reception area and the greeting I received to the room, restaurant and many other amenities. The staff around the reception area were always ready to help and very attentive in particular Doniyor who really made me feel that he was genuinely interested in making sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. The room was, just like the last time, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable with an excellent shower. A cheap and efficient laundry service is available. The breakfast buffet was first class with an excellent selection of food. I also ate lunch and dinner in the hotel and the restaurant food was wonderful. I ate all meals at the hotel over my two stays and I highly recommend it. Again the restaurant staff and in particular Elbek were very efficient and food recommendations were spot on. The hotel also offers a very well equipped gym, a sauna, steam room and pool free of charge for guests with a payable spa massage on request. I want to give a special mention to Malika, the young girl who owns small shop in the reception area selling beautiful hand made jewelry, rugs, scarves and other items. Almost everything is hand made and that which is not she clearly points it out. It is all very reasonably priced and I was very happy to buy several items from her.  I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would thoroughly recommend Swissotel Tashkent.  Finally if you are considering using Tashkent only as a stopover I would really recommend at least two nights and one full day as there are plenty of things to do including the metro stations, an outdoor train museum which was excellent, bazaars, a wonderful mosque and go take pictures of the Soviet-built Uzbekistan Hotel built in the Soviet Brutalist style with an Asian influence, absolutely beautiful and very different to the architecture found it Khiva etc. So I would advise, stay in Tashkent either at the start or end of your trip or both as I did and stay at the Swissotel. You will not regret it.

Хороший отель: чисто, в номере есть туалетные принадлежности (щетка, паста, гель, шампунь), чайный набор, 2 бутылки воды, пополняемые ежедневно. Мини бар платный. Сауна платная, мы не ходили. Персонал говорит на русском, приятный в общении и готовый помочь. В ресторане под заказ готовили на завтрак каши: рисовая, манная, овсяная. Завтраки разнообразные: блины, яйца жареные, омлеты, овощи жареные, пицца, шарлотка…

My friends and I stayed at Orion Hotel on July 13-15, 2024. We appreciated the staff for letting my friend checked in early and left her other stuff in the hotel while we’re traveling to another cities in Uzbekistan.

The service details were impeccable, especially the offshore business services which exceeded my expectations. Communicating with Chairman Anxin of the hotel allowed me to gain a deeper and faster understanding of Uzbekistan's national conditions and investment opportunities in the construction and real estate industries that I'm interested in. They even introduced me to potential partners, which was fantastic! [Strong][Strong]

The hotel breakfast was good quality. The rooms were well-maintained and clean. It's conveniently located, and the front desk helped me arrange a taxi to T2 airport, which only cost 50,000 Sum. Overall, the service quality is excellent, and the facilities are modern. I'd definitely recommend it.

The location of the hotel is great—many places are within walking distance, and it's close to the subway station. However, the hotel and its facilities are really outdated. The first box of toothbrushes I opened had no plastic seal, and there were toothpaste and water stains on the toothbrush itself. The toothpaste tube had already been poked open, clearly used, and I have no idea why it was put back into the box. The door lock looked like it had been pried open, and the deadbolt didn't work at all, so we had to barricade the door before going to sleep at night. The breakfast room in the morning is very small, but extremely crowded; you have to share tables, and there's a queue just to pour coffee. On the bright side, the twin room is quite large, feeling like two single rooms knocked into one. Out of curiosity, I took a look at the actual single room, and it was indeed quite cramped. The front desk staff was a mixed bag: the male staff member who checked us in was extremely cold and indifferent, while the female staff member at check-out was quite nice. The twin room has two balconies, one of which you can actually step out onto—that's a plus.

The Tashkent Square Hotel boasts a prime location within walking distance of the city center. With comprehensive facilities, attentive service, and a generous breakfast, it's an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. The beautiful city center is right outside the door! Taxis are readily available. Extra beds are available.
