"Traveling during the off-peak season in March, I looked at many local hotels and finally chose Pullman. I also scrolled through the reviews and still recognized the quality and service of the Accor Group. Here are a few points: When we arrived at the lobby on March 26th, a tall, bespectacled young man at the entrance helped open the door. Upon seeing our luggage, he proactively helped us with our suitcases and guided us to the front desk very professionally. After checking in, he led us to the elevator area, explaining the locations of the hotel's dining areas, pool, and mall, and even escorted us to the 52nd floor. I'm also very grateful to the cleaning lady on duty the next day. I told her when we'd be out for a meal, and she came exactly at that time, not disturbing us at all. When we asked for a clothes rack, and they were all borrowed, she specially got a standing clothes dryer from the laundry room for us. Lastly, there's the gentleman my husband mentioned in the pool changing room. Seeing that we were tourists, he specifically told us about the swimwear spinner dryer available for use. Every single staff member at Pullman is dedicated to their work. However, the downside is that the fragrance in the public areas is a bit too sweet, similar to the scent of Givenchy PLAY. Secondly, the breakfast buffet is on the simpler side, just decent, not particularly extensive. But these minor flaws don't detract from the overall excellent experience. From our river view room, we could enjoy the scenery right from our beds. The hotel service was outstanding. We arrived at 8 AM, and since the hotel was fully booked the night before, the front desk offered us breakfast and promised to contact us as soon as a room became available. To our delight, we received our room key and checked in by 9 AM. We're very grateful for the early check-in! The room was also very clean. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back."

"This was my second stay, and this time I was given a tatami room. The view wasn't as good as my previous stay, which overlooked the river and a distant view of West Lake. However, my child absolutely loved it! I got two blankets for him and he made a little 'nest' on the tatami, and now he insists on staying in this type of room every time. After two stays, I'd summarize that the hotel's facilities are decent, but the food is a real standout. The breakfast noodles are especially delicious, and during the May Day holiday, the staff preparing them were incredibly efficient; even with a queue, they got everything ready in minutes. Due to bad weather, we opted for the hotel's seafood buffet dinner. Guests get a discount, and it really catered to both adult and child preferences, ensuring everyone found a few things they liked. The seafood was just okay, but the lamb chops, Thai shrimp salad, and desserts like the durian pastry were exceptional. My family member thought this dinner was fantastic value for money. I'll likely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Huizhou."

"My kid wanted to ride the urban rail, and this hotel is conveniently located near Huizhou Yunshan Urban Rail Station, making it easy to get to various attractions. Downstairs, there's China Overseas Grand Oceans Plaza, and across the street is Hualian Plaza, so shopping and dining are incredibly convenient. **Facilities:** The hotel room facilities are good, quite thoughtful, and I feel they're a step above other Hilton hotels I've stayed in. The river view room offers views of Beihu Park and the night scenery of Echeng Bridge. The only downside is a KTV downstairs in Grand Oceans Plaza. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to communicate with the front desk beforehand, as the singing can be a bit loud late at night. Also, regarding picture 13, I'd suggest using packaged toilet paper in the bathroom; its current placement is a bit awkward. **Hygiene:** The room hygiene is good. **Service:** The young lady at the front desk was very polite and provided thorough service. The concierge downstairs was also great, helping with luggage in and out of the car. Even the cleaning staff were very polite. Service was excellent. **Restaurant:** The environment is comfortable, and the buffet selection is quite decent. For dinner, the salmon and shrimp were very fresh, and the price was reasonable. There were a lot of tour groups, but the servers were diligent in clearing tables, and food was replenished promptly. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay and would come again if I have the chance."

It's incredibly convenient for dining, accommodation, and entertainment. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. While the decor isn't brand new, as an established landmark hotel, the service is consistently good. The room facilities are acceptable, and the floor-to-ceiling window offering a beautiful view of West Lake is a definite highlight. The only downside is that the room doesn't have openable windows, which is a minor disappointment. Although the front desk assigned me a non-smoking floor, there were still guests smoking in the hallway, making the entire corridor smell of smoke. Everything else was satisfactory~"

GGuest UserThe facilities are comprehensive, a bit old, but the overall feel is good. There are many hot springs, a pet park with lots of animals, and a large swimming pool. There's also an infinity pool on the beach with sea views. The hygiene is generally good, and the toiletries are L'Occitane. The service was good, except for the photographer assigned by the hotel for a complimentary photoshoot, who had a bad attitude. All the other staff provided service with a smile! There were also bonfires and fireworks at night. Overall, we had a great time and could easily spend a whole day at the hotel without needing to go out! 👍🏻 The private beach was the best part – the sand was very fine, it wasn't crowded, and we could play to our heart's content!

They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time. After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!! The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻 The staff were also so polite and friendly!! Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were .. Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining... Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there. There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring! Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings... I really hope one day I can go again!! But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

Being able to hear the white noise of the waves all day long was incredibly soothing and relaxing. The balcony was perfect for lounging and enjoying the sea, creating a wonderful ambiance. This hotel is ideal for enjoying sea views. The beach, however, has coarse sand and isn't great for walking. The weather during my stay was rainy and cloudy. I'd love to come back again when it's sunny!

EErica StrolenFamily getaway First of all, I was amazed at the fact we were welcomed and checked in long before 2 pm, as soon as we arrived at noon. Next great thing was that the receptionist helped us to swipe rooms, as we booked one king size bed but for the family of four it was a bit inconvenient, so in a matter of 10 minutes we got a spacious room with 2 wide beds. So the night sleep was unmatched. The location- from the first glance - looked a bit weird, coz actually the hotel is the part of the bigger residential area, although multi-stored houses are still in the stage of development and not fully inhabited. But, on the second day, when we explored the whole area we found out there were much much worse districts with entirely damaged roads, abandoned structures and left behind businesses. So after that ugly image I changed my initial impression and have to say the hotel is just right for family and perfect rest. We had a wonderful time while taking baths and even the hot springs square isn’t large we counted no less than 20 bath tubs with great proportion of aromatic and herb additives so you may enjoy the fragrance while bathing. Meantime you also can sip various herbal tea or water at the bar or have a nap on the hot stone platform. Cool place for kids too, with the separate pool, mini aqua park, swimming pool for adults was also beautiful though not the right season for swimming. Nice playground for infants and snooker tables for adults. We loved the breakfast too, many options including European food and coffee. Maybe one of the best benefits of choosing this hotel was proximity to the gorgeous mountain park also designed for families with young kids. The zigzag mountain road, the panoramic views and the hiking trail were simply amazing. Traveling that area means you may try local food which is goose, duck and home raised chickens, river fish and the main local specialty- rice cooked in the bamboo tree. All tasted great.

GGuest UserLe Méridien Huizhou Xiaojing Bay is, in my opinion, the most perfect hotel in Xiaojing Bay, much better than any guesthouse! I personally prefer hotels when traveling; they have complete facilities and services! Of course, there's a price difference, which is to be expected! The hotel has an indoor pool and a pool overlooking the sea, which is incredibly comfortable. I don't like the sand on the beach, but I love the view from it! A slight drawback of the hotel is that there are only two chairs. If a family of two adults and one child is traveling, the child won't have anywhere to sit! We pushed the beds together to sleep. Although it's not a visible area, it's no excuse for the hotel not to clean it. I believe a five-star hotel should have no blind spots when it comes to hygiene! Whether visible or not! The hotel's soundproofing is good; closing the balcony door completely blocks out the noise of the jet skis on the sea. However, the hallway noise isn't blocked out! But it's still acceptable!

GGuest UserThe front desk service at Dusit Thani Wenzhou Shuangyue Bay is truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles from the staff. At the front desk, 'Muzi,' whose employee ID was visible, made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. She recommended popular photo spots and arranged for someone to help with our luggage. Later, when we went to dinner with our elderly parents and children on Children's Day, the restaurant was crowded and nearly full. We couldn't find a table for seven, but thankfully, a restaurant staff member named Zeng Peijuan helped us find a table and get seated. Throughout our meal, she provided attentive care, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant's dishes were diverse and flavorful, offering both authentic traditional cuisine and innovative new creations.

GGuest UserHonestly, I'm reviewing this hotel not to sound like I'm advertising for them, but what I'm about to say might inadvertently make you feel that way. I'd guess most people don't visit the same place many times, but I bet there are plenty of others like me who have been to Huizhou and the Howard Johnson Resort Danran multiple times! First off, the hotel itself is truly unique; it has everything for dining, entertainment, and fun, all conveniently located. It's perfect for kids (especially with it being Children's Day this time, there were tons of kids!) and also great for seniors looking to relax without a fast pace. And of course, it's ideal for young couples seeking romance. Even though the hotel has been famous for a long time, it feels incredibly well-maintained, with no sense of being outdated at all. Secondly, and most importantly, it's the staff. I first met the lovely Ms. Zeng two years ago when my wife and I booked a room at Danran. She's incredibly kind and thoughtful. This time, I went directly to her for recommendations, and she suggested room 2707 in Building 1 – a high-floor room directly facing the sea with an amazing view and a huge balcony tub. Knowing we were checking in late, she proactively extended our check-out until 5 PM the next day and even gave us sand toys for the beach! This thoughtful service isn't a one-off, nor did I just happen to meet one great person; almost every staff member you encounter is genuinely warm-hearted. When Peach, the housekeeping supervisor, found out we hadn't had lunch yet, she kindly arranged to give us four complimentary lunch vouchers – that made us so happy! And Ms. Huang, a room attendant, saw my two kids return from swimming and proactively brought drinks and dolls to our room. The kids were thrilled for ages! At the pool amusement park, there were so many lifeguards constantly watching. Especially on Children's Day with so many kids, they were truly busy every moment, gently yet seriously guarding countless happy little spirits! As the saying goes, 'a small sign reveals a big trend.' You can experience such thoughtful and attentive service from so many employees across all departments. At the same time, different roles emphasize different aspects, which must be related to their job responsibilities. For the hotel management to enable all their staff to perform their duties, take responsibility, and provide such warm service, is truly excellent!
