"The hotel's location is excellent, right by the Dongjiang River. It's just a ten-minute walk to the pedestrian street, and there's a renowned Rongjun Dim Sum restaurant nearby. From our river view room, we could enjoy the scenery right from our beds. The hotel service was outstanding. We arrived at 8 AM, and since the hotel was fully booked the night before, the front desk offered us breakfast and promised to contact us as soon as a room became available. To our delight, we received our room key and checked in by 9 AM. We're very grateful for the early check-in! The room was also very clean. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back."

"## Environment: The environment is great, definitely worth a visit. The room is also spacious enough, clean, and tidy. The sea view is very clear and comfortable; there are also greenways nearby for leisurely strolls. I would come again. ## Service: The front desk staff wasn't very enthusiastic, hardly smiling. They just seemed like they were going through the motions, answering only what was asked. However, the guy at the pool reception was very enthusiastic. The servers at the buffet were also a bit stiff and not very warm. ## Facilities: The hotel's pool is beautiful, and it's a big plus that you can borrow a swim cap if you don't have one! I had the buffet dinner, and the taste was really just average. The seafood and sashimi weren't very good, even a bit fishy. The Chinese food section was mostly spicy, so if you can't eat spicy food, you're pretty much limited to the Western section. The meat dishes were better, but the seafood was really disappointing. The buffet breakfast was genuinely bad; the waffles were hard, there were flies in the wonton area, the soy milk was powdered rather than freshly ground, and the coffee was undrinkable."

"This is my second stay at this hotel. I had a bit of an incident: I was looking for a hotel close to the high-speed train station for an early departure the next day, so I searched online for ”near Huizhou North Station.” I picked an international apartment, but when the taxi dropped me off, it turned out to be a small hotel surrounded by night market stalls. The area was so smoky and bustling that I quickly fled. I realized then that the top-ranked hotels online for being 'near' the high-speed station were actually all in the Xiaojinkou market area. I immediately headed back to the city and checked into Xi Hu Li again. A quick tip: if you need slippers, just call the front desk, and they'll be brought up quickly. This hotel is really great, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Huizhou."

"My stay at Home Inn was fantastic! The service was warm and efficient. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff even gave helpful reminders. It's incredibly convenient for dining, accommodation, and entertainment. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. While the decor isn't brand new, as an established landmark hotel, the service is consistently good. The room facilities are acceptable, and the floor-to-ceiling window offering a beautiful view of West Lake is a definite highlight. The only downside is that the room doesn't have openable windows, which is a minor disappointment. Although the front desk assigned me a non-smoking floor, there were still guests smoking in the hallway, making the entire corridor smell of smoke. Everything else was satisfactory~"

"This was my second stay, and this time I was given a tatami room. The view wasn't as good as my previous stay, which overlooked the river and a distant view of West Lake. However, my child absolutely loved it! I got two blankets for him and he made a little 'nest' on the tatami, and now he insists on staying in this type of room every time. After two stays, I'd summarize that the hotel's facilities are decent, but the food is a real standout. The breakfast noodles are especially delicious, and during the May Day holiday, the staff preparing them were incredibly efficient; even with a queue, they got everything ready in minutes. Due to bad weather, we opted for the hotel's seafood buffet dinner. Guests get a discount, and it really catered to both adult and child preferences, ensuring everyone found a few things they liked. The seafood was just okay, but the lamb chops, Thai shrimp salad, and desserts like the durian pastry were exceptional. My family member thought this dinner was fantastic value for money. I'll likely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Huizhou."

EErica StrolenFamily getaway First of all, I was amazed at the fact we were welcomed and checked in long before 2 pm, as soon as we arrived at noon. Next great thing was that the receptionist helped us to swipe rooms, as we booked one king size bed but for the family of four it was a bit inconvenient, so in a matter of 10 minutes we got a spacious room with 2 wide beds. So the night sleep was unmatched. The location- from the first glance - looked a bit weird, coz actually the hotel is the part of the bigger residential area, although multi-stored houses are still in the stage of development and not fully inhabited. But, on the second day, when we explored the whole area we found out there were much much worse districts with entirely damaged roads, abandoned structures and left behind businesses. So after that ugly image I changed my initial impression and have to say the hotel is just right for family and perfect rest. We had a wonderful time while taking baths and even the hot springs square isn’t large we counted no less than 20 bath tubs with great proportion of aromatic and herb additives so you may enjoy the fragrance while bathing. Meantime you also can sip various herbal tea or water at the bar or have a nap on the hot stone platform. Cool place for kids too, with the separate pool, mini aqua park, swimming pool for adults was also beautiful though not the right season for swimming. Nice playground for infants and snooker tables for adults. We loved the breakfast too, many options including European food and coffee. Maybe one of the best benefits of choosing this hotel was proximity to the gorgeous mountain park also designed for families with young kids. The zigzag mountain road, the panoramic views and the hiking trail were simply amazing. Traveling that area means you may try local food which is goose, duck and home raised chickens, river fish and the main local specialty- rice cooked in the bamboo tree. All tasted great.

GGuest UserThe facilities are comprehensive, a bit old, but the overall feel is good. There are many hot springs, a pet park with lots of animals, and a large swimming pool. There's also an infinity pool on the beach with sea views. The hygiene is generally good, and the toiletries are L'Occitane. The service was good, except for the photographer assigned by the hotel for a complimentary photoshoot, who had a bad attitude. All the other staff provided service with a smile! There were also bonfires and fireworks at night. Overall, we had a great time and could easily spend a whole day at the hotel without needing to go out! 👍🏻 The private beach was the best part – the sand was very fine, it wasn't crowded, and we could play to our heart's content!

WWSLRIt was a very nice hidden hotel, nicely renovated. The pictures advertised on the rooms seem larger than it actually are but are still simple and comfortable. Booked for 3 nights stay, staff are very friendly. However, not the hotels fault, I had to leave on the 2nd night, I returned back to my room at 5pm and stayed in my room to relax, but guest next door left their energy on slot card on (their air-conditioning, lights, and shower fan would be on throughout while they are out) I couldn't relax as their shower fan was on and it was extremely loud as their shower room was connected next to mine. It went on for hours and hours, so I requested to change rooms around 7pm. And the young male said, that he couldn't help about the noise next door and I can't change rooms until tomorrow. I got so annoyed that I cancelled the remaining two 2 nights through trip.com. they must had a notification, and instantly changed me into another room. And it was nice for them to let me see the rooms before deciding. I wouldn't stay here again, as I am a light sleeper and sensitive to noise, this hotel is not sound proof, you can hear people walking up and down the stairs even if you are far away, you will be able to hear people's conversations when they return back to the hotel really late, especially if they stay above you, and their footsteps and laughs. I stayed on the 3rd floor, facing an abandoned building, which looked really spooky. The hotel comes with breakfast, only ate once, the auntie's attitude not very friendly and just hands over with a selection of breakfast in a tray which had: congee, sweet potato, boiled egg, etc.

GGuest UserRandomly picked this hotel for my trip and was blown away! The soundproofing is incredibly good, and they even offer local snacks for breakfast. The front desk was so helpful with car rental – a total lifesaver for families with kids! The hallways are super quiet, and we had an amazing ocean view room. The beach is right downstairs, it's just perfect! We were so touched by the hotel's warmth when it rained. The staff proactively helped with our luggage, and the room was super clean with a great wet/dry separation. A good night's sleep here truly rejuvenates you!

Ppz88612Will not be returning. Arrived at 3:30 PM only to be told the room wouldn't be ready for another 40 minutes as they were all still being cleaned, and there were no other rooms available. It took over ten minutes to check in with three staff members at the front desk, and they spoke so softly I couldn't understand what they were saying. Walked over to the ground floor restaurant to swat flies. The hallways were so dark because of the dark decor, even at 4 PM. The underground parking was also very dim with a lot of standing water on the floor. The room facilities were quite old. The only saving grace was the pool, which was very good – quite large and separated into adult and child sections.

The master bedroom offers excellent views and is definitely worth the price. The bed was also very comfortable. On the downside, both bathrooms had no doors, which was a bit awkward. Plus, the sofa lacked cushions, making it uncomfortable to sit on. The hotel breakfast was pretty mediocre, and the restaurant had an unpleasant odor.
