Longji One Art Hotel was one of the highlights of our Guangxi trip. Beautiful mountain views, peaceful atmosphere, and exceptionally kind staff. The hotel blends modern comfort, captivating art decor and photos with the charm of the rice terraces perfectly. Dinner In hotel was deliciously prepared and included cultural singing and dancing. Grandma’s distilled rice wine was exceptional. Waking up to the mist over the valley was unforgettable. Hiking paths through rice terraces, hilltops, and wooded areas start just outside the hotel door. Highly recommended hotel for anyone visiting Longji Rice Terraces.

The room condition was excellent, and the view was absolutely stunning. We could take amazing photos right from our room. The owner was very thoughtful and paid great attention to detail. He's also a fantastic photographer; the pictures he took of our family of four were beautiful. All our meals were at the hotel. The breakfast rice noodle set was very flavorful, and the lunch and dinner dishes were delicious, offering both home-style and local flavors. Longji Terraces, we'll be back! LOCATION: Trip.com showed this stay as very close to the cable-car (Jinkeng terrace). That was the main reason for us to choose this place. But, on arrival, we found that this accommodation is about ~19 km far from the cable car station. So, it was an accidental choice for us. Nevertheless, this gave us an opportunity to enjoy this stay – free from hustle-bustle, no regrets. We realized the serenity of this place after visiting Dazhai! 😊 TRAVEL: Foreigners with family and kids. We traveled to the Longji Terraces from Yangshuo by 13:30 bus. It took us about 4 hours. Although we booked the ticket to Dazhai (last stop), we got off the bus at the Jinzhu intersection. The driver knows the hotel and its staff. I did reach out to Ms. Liao Yanzhen (aka Jane) through WeChat (same number as in Trip.com) before starting the journey. She informed the bus driver about us & it helped us a lot. ACCOMMODATION: It is located uphill from the Jinzhu intersection – about 15-minute walk. Since we had luggage, Ms. Jane arranged for a car to carry all our luggage to/from the stay. ROOM: Spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Depending on the room type, a balcony view helps. I had the valley view, which was very nice early in the morning. The room is built on a treehouse concept with modern bath and restroom facilities. It had a kettle, WiFi, etc., all that comes with a standard reservation. FOOD: Received the menu available and the price per item through WeChat. The common dining area is spacious. Food portions were large and tasty! For the hotel location, the cost is reasonable. STAFF: All are very friendly and do their best to make your stay comfortable. We managed all our interactions through the translator app. They surprised the kids with popcorn! During our stay, we played cards after dinner for a few hours in the common area, and the staff were kind enough to help us with table and chairs. Also, on the last day, they showed us their traditional way of preparing food and the ingredients. ONLY SUGGESTION to the hotel: please address the door noise. It is too loud and annoying for occupants as well as neighbors.

We chose this hotel for the 270 view and the amazing balcony, and it was even beter than we expected. From the first moment on it was perfect: our luggage was carried right up to our room, we ordered dinner at the hotel and they brought it to our balcony, the food is very much recommended and home made! The breakfast was very delicious as well! The room was extremely spacious and comfortable, the design is really beautiful and the wooden interior feels authentic. You are close to the village but high enough to get a better view, and we walked to the Golden Buddha top in about 45 minutes along the fields (stunning!!!) I am so happy we stayed here for 3 days as it was the highlight of our trip, watching the sunset from our balcony and bed, eating the amazing food, and being received so well!

We stayed at the Longsheng Huanlongge Panorama Inn for one night while visiting the rice terraces. We arrived at the hotel after taking a bus and then taxi from Guilin. The hotel is up a hill from where the taxi can drop you, but your luggage is carried up to the top using a special winch system! On arrival we were offered tea and local berries which were lovely. We had our room upgraded to a suite at the very top of the hotel building which offered amazing views over the rice terraces from its private wraparound balcony! The room itself was clean and comfortable with a huge amount of space. We ate dinner in the hotels restaurant which was tasty and reasonably priced when taking the location into account. One of our highlights was the included breakfast, there were lots of different parts of it, which were all delicious. After checking out we hiked through the rice terraces to Ping’an where we caught a bus back to Guilin. The hotel were also very helpful advising us about the hike, buses, luggage storage etc. They also had a very cute dog who was very well behaved! A big advantage of staying here was experiencing the rice terraces before the bus loads of tourists arrived. We would recommend staying here.

From the moment we arrived, Jason and his wife took incredible care of us. They picked up our luggage right at the foot of the hill and had it carried up to our rooms while we headed off to explore Ping'An village — such a thoughtful touch that let us start our visit unburdened and worry-free. The views from both the lobby and our rooms were nothing short of incredible — the kind of scenery that feels genuinely healing for the soul. We found ourselves just sitting and taking it in more than once. Jason's hospitality went above and beyond throughout our stay. When my friend developed blisters after a long day of walking, they went through their entire ice supply just to help her ice her foot and get some relief. That kind of generosity and care is rare to find. The decor throughout the property is completely unique — wood carvings and old doors that Jason salvaged and collected from old homes give the lobby and guest rooms so much character and history. It's clear this place was built with real passion and personal touch. We also loved the food at the hotel restaurant, especially the traditional 竹筒饭 (bamboo rice) — simply delicious, along with everything else we tried. Jason and his wife have created something truly special here. Can't recommend Baike enough — an unforgettable stay in every way.

The location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Ping'anzhai observation deck. The scenery is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains. Opening the balcony door from your room feels like you're living in the clouds. We went during the off-season, so there weren't many people. The guesthouse has a traditional Chinese architectural style, all solid wood, and the materials used are very substantial. The only downside is that you have to park in a designated parking lot quite far from the hotel, pay a high parking fee, and then buy an electric cart ticket to get up there. You can clearly drive up yourself, which I found very confusing and inconvenient.

This hotel is an absolute gem! I spent a lot of time choosing a hotel in Longji Terraces, debating whether to go to Pingan or Dazhai. We are so happy and grateful we ended up staying at Yanduoshansu Hotel. Everything about it was incredible. Gorgeous location at the highest point in Pingan Village, with a panoramic view of the rice terraces and village, without feeling crowded among other lodges. At night we slept with the windows open to the sound of a mountain stream and cool air. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. But the highlight was the hosts who were so kind and friendly, despite language barriers. They helped us with luggage transfers, tips for hiking around the terraces and cooked the most wonderful, flavourful homemade dinner and breakfast - probably the best food we had on our trip to Guilin. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

The views from both the restaurant and the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. We could see the stunning 'Seven Stars with Moon' landscape, and in the morning, we were even treated to a beautiful sea of clouds. The hostess is an incredible cook; all the dishes we ordered, like the bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, and green pepper beef, were delicious. Breakfast was excellent too! The owners and their family were so warm and welcoming. This is hands down the best homestay I've ever stayed at. I definitely plan to return if I get the chance!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel; it’s in a great location, and the view from my room is pretty impressive! The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, though it’s not very well soundproofed—but that’s fine as long as your neighbors aren’t too noisy. The food was very good; the included dinner and breakfast portions are more than enough—no need to worry about that. As for my rating of the service (3/5), it has nothing to do with the hotel staff, who are very friendly, and it was easy to communicate with them even though I don’t speak Chinese. The problem stemmed from communication before I arrived at the hotel. I tried to arrange my arrival through the hotel’s taxi service several days in advance, but received no response from the hotel—neither on Trip nor on WeChat (they didn’t accept my request). The hotel replied one hour before my 6:00 p.m. arrival (luckily, I hadn’t planned to arrive any earlier), but unfortunately, I had already made other arrangements. Better communication in advance regarding this shuttle service would have been preferable. Aside from this minor issue, I highly recommend this very pleasant hotel!
