"We came at an unfortunate timing. Faced with fog and rain we are unable to venture out to enjoy the rice terrace view. Stayed in our room to see the nearby rice terrace. Settled our meal within the hotel. Lady boss was a good cook being able to showcase many local dishes. If better amenities can be provided that will be ideal - proper towels (not disposable), complimentary coffee. Nevertheless overall it’s a great stay."

"We had a wonderful stay here with our baby. The view from the room was amazing, the bathtub was pleasant to have. The host was very nice, he drove us to the cable car station and got he bus station for free. Great to see how this rural area develops."

"This accommodation, perched halfway up the mountain, offers unparalleled views of the terraced fields directly from your room's balcony or floor-to-ceiling windows. You can immerse yourself in the majestic scenery without even stepping outside. The owner and staff are consistently praised for their exceptional hospitality. They go above and beyond, providing services like luggage assistance, convenient shuttle transfers, and personalized route recommendations, demonstrating truly thoughtful and attentive service. Rooms are spacious and bright, featuring modern and well-appointed facilities. The guesthouse's dining options include local specialties like Guilin rice noodles, bamboo chicken, and mountain frog. The food is fresh, delicious, and very reasonably priced. Although the guesthouse is conveniently located close to the Jinkeng Dazhai car park, reaching it involves a short uphill climb or walking on stone slab paths. Despite this minor inconvenience, we found it absolutely worthwhile; the breathtaking views and authentic experience more than compensated for the journey."

"Excellent location , in the Dazhai village center, easy 7 minute walk to the Dazhai parking lot for the cable car and the local buses to Ping'an and long hair show village (forgot the name). You can also walk to three observation platforms from the foothill to hilltop. Room: spacious, clean, with all the amenities as described. Hosts: a young couple with kids and mother, nice, welcoming people. Although they do not speak English, you can easily communicate via WeChat. They helped me with booking a bus to Guilin. The hotel is recommended for nice views and local village experience. I would like to have a menu, as well as a sketch map of the area with observation platforms, villages, hiking routes in English. Information on local events and local but routes/ schedules would also be helpful for non-Chinese tourists."

"My stay at Tenglongge Panoramic Inn was an unforgettable package of delightful surprises and genuine warmth! First off, the location is simply unbeatable – truly the prime viewing spot for the Longji Terraces. Open your window, and you're immediately greeted by the breathtaking, undulating curves of the rice paddies. When the clouds and mist roll in, it feels like living inside a classical painting. And watching the wisps of smoke rise from the valley at dusk, time genuinely seems to slow to a crawl. The inn itself is also incredibly clean and comfortable; every nook and cranny is meticulously tidied, making it a perfectly reassuring choice for families traveling with children. The proprietress was even more heartwarming, treating us like close family. She welcomed us with hot tea the moment we arrived, enthusiastically sharing tips on the best spots for sunset views and recommending the most delicious bamboo rice. She even helped us carry our luggage all the way to our room. But what I'll truly remember for a lifetime was the 'drone scare' that evening! It was already dark, and I was trying to capture night photos of the terraced fields when I accidentally flew my drone a bit too high. With the low visibility, it crashed into the trees, and I instantly panicked. As I was squatting on the ground, frantically trying to figure out what to do, the innkeeper appeared with a flashlight and simply said, 'Come on, I'll help you find it!' It was pitch black in the mountains that night, impossible to see your hand in front of your face, and the path was incredibly steep. As we walked, a small venomous snake suddenly darted out, scaring me so much I almost screamed. But with lightning-fast reflexes, the innkeeper grabbed a branch and deftly pushed the snake away. We continued our search for nearly half an hour, stumbling through the uneven terrain, until we finally located the drone, tangled in grass and leaves within the bushes. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and relief, yet still shaking from the scare. He was drenched in sweat but kept repeating, 'As long as it's found, that's all that matters.' This wasn't just a hotel stay; it truly felt like finding kind-hearted family in the mountains! And as for the scenery? Words aren't enough – I'll just let the photos speak for themselves. After all, even a tiny glimpse through the lens is enough to linger in your memory for a long, long time. Next time I'm in Longji, I'm definitely staying here again!"

"My daughter and I visited Longji and chose to stay at Fengyi Guesthouse. Our room was wonderfully spacious, and the bed was impressively large. Even though the guesthouse is a bit off the beaten path, it was absolutely spotless. The owner was incredibly warm and hospitable, taking the time to chat with us and offer fantastic advice on exploring the area. Plus, they provided free pick-up and drop-off within Dazhai village. We highly recommend it!"

"5 stars level of hotel I didn’t expect such a perfect room for a small village, I was completely shocked by the technology and gadgets in the room. My room was HUGE and felt like a dream with that view, the huge bathtub was just perfect. Everything was perfectly clean and well maintained, as well the entire hotel. The staff were amazing, super welcoming and kind, helped me with the transfer from Guilin and made everything clear and easy. The hotel is surrounded by magical views, really close to the main area and the cable car entrance. There is no doubt i’ll be back!"
