GGuest UserIncredible hotel with the kindest, most helpful hosts! The hostel is also located perfectly for hiking to all three viewing spots, being fairly high up the mountain already. The hosts helped us book the bus from Guilin to Dazhai, and arranged a car to take us from the parking lot to the hotel for free. When we left, they also brought our luggage down for us and helped arrange for someone to take us to Ping’an, another village in the Longji area. The room was gorgeous, huge and perfectly clean. The view from the 4th floor dining area is also amazing. While we stayed there, the hosts helped us with the hiking routes to all the famous spots, and gave us their WeChat so we could call them if we got lost or needed any help while hiking. All in all, this is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had, and I cannot recommend this place enough!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right next to the Jiulong Wuhu (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers) Observation Deck, offering breathtaking views. The owner is incredibly warm, thoughtful, and a great conversationalist, even brewing tea for guests. There's also a super cute dog named Marshmallow on the premises. The tatami room is very spacious. For those not in a rush to leave, you can simply sit, relax, sip tea, chat, and watch the clouds drift by. The bamboo rice and bamboo chicken served here are delicious; the bamboo rice, in particular, was so incredibly fragrant and mouth-watering! When we had to descend the mountain early in the morning, the owner even helped us arrange transportation. All in all, it was a fantastic stay. For anyone with the time and opportunity, I highly recommend staying for several extra days.

AAnonymous UserThe boss is very friendly. He will deliver the luggage to our home from the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot and help with the luggage.
The mountain road is winding and we can carry the 20KG luggage upstairs directly.
The location of his house is really good.
It takes only 3-5 minutes to reach the viewing platform by walking up the stairs.
It saves us from buying a cable car ticket.
It is recommended to stay for two nights and see the terraced fields.
It is also good to rent a car to play in the stream on the second day.

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.

GGuest UserBeautiful place, 5minutes walk away from the Longji rice terrace main viewing platform. But that makes it kind of hard to access if you don’t have a car - but so as the touristic area as a whole.
The room was as on the pictures with a beautiful balcony and view on the mountains and the sunrise. The bed was confortable and the room spacious.
The staff didn’t speak English but was willing to help as much as they can, they for instance booked a taxi back to Guilin for us (count 2h30 to be safe). They wouldn’t do the foreigners registration for us.
They offer dinner options that were really good as well as a tasty noodle soup for breakfast.

KKvaldirWe have stayed in many hotels in china, but this hotel was by far our favorite. The room with mountain view truly had a beautiful view, and the balcony was very cozy. The owner was also very friendly, and helped us with a lot, like helping us find the right bus back to guilin, and giving us a lot of tea. Furthermore, from the hotel, you can walk straight into the ricefields, sonthe location of the hotel isnalso perfect. The first picture is the view from the hotel, the second picture is on top of the ricefield hill. Its about 20 minutes walking to this viewing point.

GGuest UserNice hotel in a great location. You need to walk approx. 15mins per foot as no car can reach it. Therefore you get a terrace with an awesome view over the rice terraces in eastern direction. Perfect to experience the sunrise directly from the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff who also organize the arrival and departure for you even though they don’t speak English here. Rooms are a bit old but perfectly clean and the hotel has a restaurant with delicious Chinese food.

GGuest UserThe name of the hostel is One Family, and that is exactly what you will get here, since the second day I found myself sitting at the table with the whole family running the place feeling sort of part of this family. On top of that, the owner is part of the local minority living in Ping'ancun, so culturally it doesn't get more authentic than this!
But what I truly want to stress is the kindness and helpfulness of the owner's son (whose name I unfortunately have forgotten). He gave me a lot of interesting insights about the history and culture of Ping'ancun, which was truly fascinating. In addition, he gave me advice about my travels, and, ultimately, I would follow his tips seeing some of the most outstanding places in China. So, if you need info and tips about a China travel itinerary, you are also at a good place here.
Lastly, the room was like being in a hut on top of a mountain. Surely not as luxurious as other hotels in the area, yet again if you look for something authentic, go here.

GGuest UserThe boss is very enthusiastic. Please remember to contact the boss in advance to let him pick up. It is very difficult to drag the luggage to find the road, and it is still a mountain road. The bacon made by the proprietress is delicious. It is very convenient to live here to the No. 3 observation deck, and you can save the cable car money. But it's a bit hard to go to the 1st and 2nd, but it's acceptable. It takes 50 minutes to climb the pro-test.

GGuest UserGood location, comfortable bed, beautiful view, delicious food, pick up and drop off! All the key points have been achieved! During the National Day, I stayed alone in the Tingfeng double bed room, which was of good quality and low price, with a balcony and large windows. The location halfway up the mountain is easy to get up and down. The outside of the balcony looks like Figures 3 and 4. When you go out, turn left and go up to the Golden Buddha Summit Observation Deck. Turn right to the Thousand Layer Terraces Observation Deck. If you have enough time, be sure to stay for one or two nights. Watch the sunrise and sunset, watch the clouds roll and relax.
