GGuest UserThe hotel's decor is truly unique and incredibly photogenic, perfect for taking stunning pictures. As a classic stilt house of the Hong Yao ethnic group, we were immediately struck by its charm upon entering. The ambiance is exceptional, arguably the best in the area, and it's conveniently located close to both viewing platforms.
The spacious interiors, filled with an antique charm, were an absolute bonus, deserving all the praise! 👍
The hotel is family-run, and the owners are incredibly warm and friendly. They are quick to assist with any issues. We even received a 50% discount when visiting Jinfoding just by mentioning the hotel's name! The owner also helped arrange our return trip to Guilin station flawlessly.
The owner's home-cooked dishes were incredibly delicious – we were completely satisfied with every meal. For breakfast, they even invited us to try their wonderfully fragrant local specialty, 'Youcha' (oil tea).
The most remarkable part was their dog! When we left at 5 AM to catch the sunrise, their dog faithfully followed us. Initially, we were a bit wary, thinking it might be aggressive, but then we realized it was actually leading us all the way to the viewing platform. That dog definitely deserves an extra treat! 🦴 While five stars is the maximum rating, it doesn't fully capture how exceptional this hotel is. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends.

LLeonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language.
Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

GGuest UserBeautiful place, 5minutes walk away from the Longji rice terrace main viewing platform. But that makes it kind of hard to access if you don’t have a car - but so as the touristic area as a whole.
The room was as on the pictures with a beautiful balcony and view on the mountains and the sunrise. The bed was confortable and the room spacious.
The staff didn’t speak English but was willing to help as much as they can, they for instance booked a taxi back to Guilin for us (count 2h30 to be safe). They wouldn’t do the foreigners registration for us.
They offer dinner options that were really good as well as a tasty noodle soup for breakfast.

GGuest UserThe family who run are very accommodating and friendly. They’re on the lower part of the village which is good because not so many stairs to climb up to reach them, but the view is just the side of the rice terraces not overlooking them all. They helped us carry our bags up and were quick to supply us with whatever we were lacking. The rooms were very clean and new, nice woodsy smell, and excellent views of greenery outside. We loved sitting out on the balcony in the evening, it’s so quiet and dark with the sounds of a small waterfall and frogs. She made us breakfast according to our time schedule, really delicious traditional rice noodles with fried eggs. We had dinner there one evening too and really liked her style of cooking. We all agreed it was the best rice we’ve had in China! I would definitely recommend staying!

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse boasts an excellent location. It's just a 1-minute walk to the stunning Nine Dragons and Five Tigers Viewpoint, arguably the most beautiful spot at Longji Terraces, and the Seven Stars Accompany the Moon Viewpoint is also easily accessible, about 20 minutes away.
The guesthouse provides complimentary traditional ethnic costumes, which are really lovely. Being so close to the viewpoints, guests can change into these beautiful outfits right at the guesthouse and then stroll over for some fantastic photo opportunities, which greatly enhances the fun.
Vehicles can drop you off right at the guesthouse entrance, so you don't have to haul your luggage far – incredibly convenient!
The rooms are very clean, the shower has great water pressure, and the bathroom features a convenient wet/dry separation.
While the guesthouse doesn't offer direct views of the terraced fields (it overlooks the forest instead), this didn't detract from the experience at all.

GGuest UserThe proprietress is very good, very enthusiastic, and sends us a good play guide in advance 👍👍. The house is very comfortable and you can see the beautiful scenery when you go out of the balcony. The farmhouse dishes are also delicious. It is highly recommended 👍👍👍.

GGuest UserThe name of the hostel is One Family, and that is exactly what you will get here, since the second day I found myself sitting at the table with the whole family running the place feeling sort of part of this family. On top of that, the owner is part of the local minority living in Ping'ancun, so culturally it doesn't get more authentic than this!
But what I truly want to stress is the kindness and helpfulness of the owner's son (whose name I unfortunately have forgotten). He gave me a lot of interesting insights about the history and culture of Ping'ancun, which was truly fascinating. In addition, he gave me advice about my travels, and, ultimately, I would follow his tips seeing some of the most outstanding places in China. So, if you need info and tips about a China travel itinerary, you are also at a good place here.
Lastly, the room was like being in a hut on top of a mountain. Surely not as luxurious as other hotels in the area, yet again if you look for something authentic, go here.

The scenery is pure countryside, and the food is all authentic farm fruits, vegetables, chicken, duck, beef, and mutton, all free-range and pollution-free, sourced from local farmers. The staff are friendly and attentive. The B&B is spacious and clean. It's probably the best B&B within a ten-mile radius. The rooms are even more comfortable than expected, with Haofa suites, family rooms, and standard rooms available to meet all needs.
