"The B&B's location is fantastic, offering breathtaking views. The owner is incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent hot water and a well-functioning air conditioner. It's super convenient for visiting both the Thousand-Layer Terraces viewpoint and the Golden Buddha Peak viewpoint. The breakfast rice noodles were delicious, and the dinner cooked by the owner was absolutely amazing. When we left, the owner even helped carry our luggage down the mountain – it was such a heartwarming gesture."

"Visited last weekend, and our stay was truly excellent! Longji after the rain was simply beautiful. The views from our room were absolutely breathtaking! The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, assisting us with our luggage and even providing shuttle service to the viewpoints – their driving skills were quite impressive!
The guesthouse's location is unbeatable! It's directly opposite Jinfo Peak, so there's really no need to take the cable car. You might want to visit Viewpoint 2 at most (the host can give you a quick ride, it's very close). What's more, there's another viewpoint just a few dozen meters' walk from the guesthouse, offering stunning sunrise views!
They served delicious homemade rice wine, and the mountain spring water was delightfully sweet. My mom particularly enjoyed the fish; the beer fish was incredibly flavorful and went perfectly with rice! I, on the other hand, was hooked on the stir-fried river snails – I ordered them with every meal!
The guesthouse itself was impeccably clean. Even the stairs were spotless, and the wooden floors in our room didn't have a speck of dust. Full marks for cleanliness! The floor-to-ceiling windows provided magnificent vistas. The absence of a balcony meant no mosquitoes, and we could witness spectacular sunrises right from our room in the morning, followed by breathtaking 'blue hour' moments in the evening! My mom loved it so much she barely wanted to step out, haha!"

"My husband and I spent three wonderful days at Qing Shan No. 1 Longji Courtyard during our vacation back home. The best thing about this guesthouse is its incredible warmth, just like being at home! The owner and his mother make super delicious meals – healthy and tasty. We were here for hiking, and even after trekking over 20 kilometers a day, we resisted eating out because we absolutely had to come back here for dinner. It was just too good! The rice wine they make is also very fragrant and sweet."

The complimentary private round-trip transfer service from the hotel to Dazhai car park was excellent. They also provided great assistance with booking tickets, offering convenient pick-up and drop-off right at the entrance of Jinkeng Dazhai.

"This guesthouse is considered one of the better ones in Jinkengzhai. The room facilities are top-notch, it's easy to find, and parking is convenient. The only downside is that during the off-season, they only offer breakfast and no other meals, but they recommended Qing Shan No. 1 for dinner, which was great. You can see the stunning thousand-layer terraces right from your room. However, there's not much else to explore in the village besides the terraces. It's not far from the cable car, and the guesthouse offers pick-up and drop-off services by car."

"Our arrival to the village was a bit difficult and we might have been a tad grumpy after having to climb up 20minutes vertically from the bus stop to the hotel with our 2 heavy suitcases, but immediately upon arrival our mood took a 360 shift. The owner was super friendly and told us that he even tried to reach us to pick us up by car but couldn’t due to our international number. We then got a room upgrade and he showed us where we can head out to see the first sights. We originally planned to stay only 1 night, but ended up loving our stay so much that we stayed an extra evening. We had a very nice European breakfast on the hotel’s beautiful view and made friends with the local cat. All the hikes and cultural experiences around were amazing, we especially liked the Dazhai-Ping’an hike, with so many amazing sights and views along the road. Was probably the most relaxing and enjoyable 3 days in our 3 week trip in south China. At the end of our stay the owner drove us down to the bus. We would absolutely love to come back and spend a full week here in any other season."

"The room's location is great, and if you're traveling with elderly or children, you can enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony. The walk from the hotel entrance to Jinfoding (Golden Buddha Peak) is about 1.5 kilometers round trip, a short climb up the mountain.
During National Day, peak season, driving to the Dazhai parking lot is difficult. There's a shuttle bus to the bus stop midway, then a 20-minute walk along the pedestrian path to the Dazhai parking lot. The owner will then pick you up by car and take you into the village.
For meals, simply order from the hotel's first floor. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The complimentary pot of glutinous rice wine was very refreshing."

"Environment: The surrounding environment of the homestay is also very good, and the terraces are just outside the door.

Service: The boss and staff are also super nice. The food is also delicious.
Disadvantages: 1. Because the homestay is an online red punching point, there will be many people on the first floor and it is lively. In the afternoon, when we want to rest, we will also be disturbed because of the voice of the people on the first floor.
2. The soundproofing of the room is really really bad. Basically, you can hear it when you walk next door or upstairs.
3. The balcony glass of the room is not soundproof, so the sound of people who come to check in on the first floor will be heard upstairs. More affecting rest.
The temperature of hot water in the bath is unstable."

GGuest UserThis is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care.
No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey.
This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys!

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).

CC3dr1xWe booked two rooms at this hotel, and both were absolutely beautiful. The direct view of the rice fields is stunning and indescribable. It was one of the most wonderful stays I have ever experienced. The tranquility and beautiful landscape offer everything you need to relax. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, and they are also exceptionally good cooks. We ate at the hotel every evening—simply delicious. It's a wonderful place that I can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.

PPatricia CobIt has a beautiful and unique spot in the area. You only need to walk 3 min, and you are in the middle of the rice fields. So beautiful. Rooms are like in the pictures, very traditional style. The only thing I could critisize is that inside the hotel it's a bit cold and that they need to check with guest if they prefer western/ Chinese breackfast options, so they can choose and not assume and just prepare it based in if they are Chinese or not. The lady at the entrance was kind and very helpful.

LLeonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language.
Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

We could see the stunning 'Seven Stars with Moon' landscape, and in the morning, we were even treated to a beautiful sea of clouds. The hostess is an incredible cook; all the dishes we ordered, like the bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, and green pepper beef, were delicious. Breakfast was excellent too! The owners and their family were so warm and welcoming. This is hands down the best homestay I've ever stayed at. I definitely plan to return if I get the chance!

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.

GGuest UserHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. VVvaimeinivv_The location is great, with beautiful scenery, including mountains and water. The hot springs are also large, making it very convenient to soak in them while staying at the hotel! The breakfast is also very generous. Overall, it's the best value for money when it comes to hot springs!

GGuest UserAll these photos were taken from the balcony of the B&B! ! The owner of the B&B is very hospitable and the food is super delicious. I had to eat another bowl of my favorite noodle soup before leaving! With such a beautiful view and the friendly local Red Yao proprietress, we stayed one more night. Come on everyone, the scenery is absolutely beautiful, beyond words! ! !
