GGuest UserThis stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to transportation and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The room was clean, tidy, and cozy, with comfortable, soft bedding that ensured a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was quick, and they even kindly recommended some local eateries. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good too. It's great value for money, I highly recommend it to everyone, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit!

NNomadica Bryanthe owner was so friendly and helpful. they brought us to the entrqnce personally. i only found out that there were two main entrances when i arrived. The North and West entrance. I ended up staying at the West entrance. Not much activities at night. The North was a lot more shops and restaurants around the area.
One thing I like was the quietness and the hospitality shown by the owner. They provide a lot of water and a fruit platter too. We walked to the entrance the next morning. Only took about 15 min. Problem is the shuttle busses were not so frequent in the morning session from the West gate. One point to consider. Other than that, this place is superb for less noise. Thank you.

Communication before arrival was smooth via WeChat, and the staff proactively helped me plan a full itinerary for the region, all in English, which as a foreign solo traveller in China I truly appreciated.
The hotel arranged a driver who picked me up directly at the train station gate and took me wherever I needed to go. I could adjust my plans at any time, and he was always there waiting or arrived right on schedule. The whole organzation was genuinely flexible and reliable.
The location of the hotel is perfect, like less than 10 minutes walking from Danxia Park West Gate, so you can catch the 5:30 AM opening for sunrise at Platform 1 and go for sunset at Platform 3.
The staff helped me to go to Binguo, Kangle Grassland, Alien Scenic Park, Pingshan Grand Canyon and Mati Temple. Over 5 days, I saw far more than I ever could have managed on my own, especially as this area is really remote and no didi is available.
It is one of my favourite trips and stays from six months in China and I’ve seen quite a bit. Would come back without hesitation.

Nno name nnWe stayed at Home Inn Plus Zhangye West Railway Station and want to share an honest review. The hotel lists “non-smoking rooms,” but in reality this is not accurate. Guests smoke in all rooms, so even if you book a “smoke-free” room, it will still carry smoke odor. For anyone with serious health issues or strong sensitivity to smoke, this property will not be suitable.
That said, the staff were outstanding. From the moment we mentioned the issue, Ms. 豆梦姣 went above and beyond to support us. She offered alternative rooms, kept checking in, and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. The hotel cannot control the behavior of other guests, but they truly did everything within their power to help.
In short: the building and policies make it impossible to guarantee a smoke-free stay, but the kindness and professionalism of the staff — especially Ms. 豆梦姣 — left us with a very positive impression of their hospitality.

YYijiajiajianqiangyongganFriends, I accidentally stumbled upon a budget version of Songtsam Hotel!
Showing your guesthouse reservation allows you to drive directly up to the property, saving you one shuttle bus ticket. The next day, if you plan to hike the 'Thirty-Three Heavens,' you can drive straight to the parking lot below, which is super convenient and saves a lot of energy 🅿️.
In the evening, you can sign up for the hostess's stargazing tour. The sky was full of clearly visible stars – absolutely stunning! And everyone got some amazing photos!!
Getting up at 8 AM the next day for a leisurely hike up the 'Thirty-Three Heavens' was perfect; we completely avoided the crowds, encountering only cleaning staff and meditating masters. Plus, by getting up early, we even saw blue pheasants and marmots fighting, haha! After the hike, we returned to the guesthouse just in time to check out and have a meal, then said goodbye to the snow-capped mountains feeling content yet reluctant to leave!
I was also really impressed with the facilities in the mountains. The shower water was surprisingly hot! And the toilet didn't clog! Food was always available and tasted great! They even had butter tea! And the snow-capped mountains were visible right from our window for free! Songtsam probably isn't much better than this!

SSerena MandrileWe are an Italian family and we stayed at this hotel for around 10 days while we were fixing our motorhome in Zhangye. This hotel has the perfect position for us, near the beautiful and calm lake and with the city centre reachable with a short taxi drive. Our room at the ground floor had a private garden from which we enjoyed the sunshine every day, and my child was given a very cute camping tent that she loved to play with. One of the buildings in the hotel is a very nice restaurant that we enjoyed twice. Last but not least, the staff was so kind to us every day and extremely helpful with lot of things like ordering delivery food or receiving packages - as we don’t speak any Chinese at all, this was a blessing for us.

GGuest UserThe hotel's sanitation is very good, the rooms are clean and tidy, the location is convenient, transportation is easy to access, and there are many delicious restaurants and attractions around, making it very suitable for travel and vacation. The hotel's facilities are also very advanced, and the staff's service attitude is very enthusiastic, making us feel the warmth and comfort of home. It was a very pleasant stay experience!

GGuest UserHighly recommend this hidden gem hotel! The location is superb, with convenient transportation and close to shopping areas and attractions. The hotel's decor is upscale and elegant, full of artistic flair; every corner is photogenic. The rooms are spotless, the bathrooms have separate shower and toilet areas, and the toiletries are all from well-known brands, exuding quality. The service is impeccable; everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeeping and security personnel is exceptionally friendly, responsive, and quick to help. They even provided a complimentary dessert in the evening—a truly thoughtful touch. The value for money is outstanding; whether for business or leisure travel, this is an excellent choice. Five stars wouldn't be enough!

GGuest UserThe hotel is spacious outside and the interior decoration is also quite good.
Parking is at the entrance of the hotel, and parking spaces are marked and parking fees are charged.
The only drawback is that there is a humidifier in the room, and I didn't carefully understand the meaning of ”shared use scan code trial”.
Because other hotels I booked also have free use. I plugged it in and used it. The children had fun playing with it, and it didn't vent for a while. Then I didn't understand it either, and saw a big ”damage compensation” on the humidifier, so I repaired it for a long time.
Finally, the head of the family woke up in the middle of the night and saw that I was still fiddling with why it was broken, and then said that this might mean scanning the code to pay.
5.9 yuan for 3 hours.
Since it is paid to use, I don't know why it will steam for a few minutes without scanning the code at the beginning?
In short, it is recommended that the hotel either write it clearly directly, or set the machine not to vent without scanning the code!
This makes me very angry!

〔 Facilities〕 There are two buildings. The front one can have breakfast. We live in the back one. There are also small conference rooms, medium conference rooms and the like. But there is no air conditioning in the room, although the temperature there does not need air conditioning at night.
〔 Geographical location 〕 Liuba Town in Minle County (seems to be called this), there is a 20 or 30 kilometers away from the county seat, there are many small restaurants in the town, but the door is closed earlier, and most of them are closed before ten o'clock, so it is best to live here early. Go early.
To be improved: the TV will not be watched, I don't know how to adjust. The wifi in my room cannot be used (408), and it can be connected to other rooms.
