AAnonymous UserWe had an excellent experience here! The location is great, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and Dafo Temple. The non-smoking room truly had no cigarette smell and was clean. The shared bathrooms were also clean (the staff cleans them several times a day). Upon checking in, they sent us files with tips, recommendations, and information about the tours they organize (it's possible to book round-trip transportation to Danxia in the afternoon for 40¥). The hostel staff were very kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and well taken care of here. The only area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi quality, which was slow in the evenings, but this was minor compared to all the other positive aspects. We would certainly return on a future trip to Zhangye!

PPangtouyudamowangIt can be said that this is the most satisfactory hotel I stayed in on the way to the west. Both the hotel hardware facilities and service attitude are very good. The price is cheap and the cost performance is very high. It’s just that every time I drive out, the security guard has to open the door manually, which is a bit inconvenient.

GGuest UserValue for money is absolutely stellar, it is easily worth a hotel 4 times the price in Europe (or at least in France). Washing machines are available, the breakfast is really good and quite generous, common spaces are really neat and tidy, and the lady at the front desk was really eager to help.
Would definitely recommend.

The staff is helpful and friendly. The lobby provides guests with drinks, which is very considerate.
The breakfast is not worth it though. It cost RMB38 per head, but the food variety is rather limited. I had to go to 1/F for a cup of coffee because the restaurant at 10/F did not include any drinks. There is no AC in the restaurant as well, which made guests sweating.

CcaiflThe environment was superb, exceeding our expectations. The room, which cost just over 300 yuan, boasted five-star amenities and service. My daughter and I took the bus to Mati Temple. The hotel was still a bit far from our arrival, but the owner personally drove a Great Wall off-road vehicle to pick us up and carried our luggage upstairs. The room had a king-size double bed, a full two meters and three meters wide. The room was equipped with Xiaomi Home, and the Xiao Ai smart assistant was incredibly clever. The curtains could be opened to three-sevenths and five-eighths. In the hallway, there were photos of local wildlife taken by the owner. A family of three marmots was having a meeting, which was quite vivid. Snow leopards, lynxes, vultures, eagles soared, various birds, ******* foxes, wild wolves, ******* wild donkeys, and much more... This is a top choice for anyone visiting Mati Temple. You can stay overnight and get up early to visit the caves without having to wait in line. In the evening, you can also go horseback riding on the grasslands to the waterfall area and pick mushrooms in the forest. It's a shame we only had one night, so I forgot to take photos. I'll definitely come back next time. The boss said there is a discount for the Golden Pagoda Temple. If you stay here and do not go to the Golden Pagoda Temple and the Special Caves, you can only buy tickets for the Thirty-three Days Grottoes, and you can also take the scenic bus to see various attractions.

HHamugeA friend recommended this hotel, and it certainly didn't disappoint. We made a last-minute decision to visit Zhangye, and after booking, we made a phone call and the check-in was smooth and worry-free. The service was incredibly heartwarming: the man who opened the door greeted us with a smile, the front desk lady offered us hot tea, and even helped us check the high-speed rail schedule. Even the cleaning lady we passed in the hallway offered to help us press the elevator button. The friendly smiles throughout the entire journey made the fatigue of going out so much less. The facilities were complete, clean, and the location was very convenient, about a 10-minute walk from the high-speed rail station. The newly opened Aegean Sea Mall is also nearby. An evening stroll there was just in time for the night market, where we could grab a milk tea and slowly walk back to the hotel. It was the perfect place for a relaxing trip. It was a last-minute stay, but the experience was surprisingly comfortable. I've already recommended this hotel to colleagues planning to visit Zhangye, and I'll definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserThe suite was spacious enough, and while the facilities were a bit dated, they were clean. The staff was friendly, especially the front desk. Transportation was convenient, and there was ample parking in the city, which was quite a challenge. Many hotels have parking lots directly on the street, with limited or no spaces. We checked out of another hotel and booked this one. For your reference.

GGuest UserI booked a bed in the female dormitory for 2 nights, my friends booked other beds/rooms. The hostel has all the necessary amenities. There is even a washing machine if you need to do laundry. The bedding was fresh and clean. Plenty of sockets for charging devices. You will need to bring your own shower gel for the shower and the toilets are squat toilets which is standard in China. Met a lovely German girl while staying here. The host is a lovely and very helpful woman, she assisted us with any queries and even gave us some watermelon while we waited for our driver. If you want to visit any of the popular tourist spots in the Zhangye area she can organise a car tour for you and very reasonable prices- all very easy through WeChat. I visited the rainbow mountains/Zhangye National Geopark/Zhangye Danxia Geopark (张掖国家地质公园) and Mati Si temple (马蹄寺) while in Zhangye. The hostel is in a very good location too. The common area is nice and there is a tea station where you can help yourself to a cup of tea. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

Parking is at the entrance of the hotel, and parking spaces are marked and parking fees are charged.
The only drawback is that there is a humidifier in the room, and I didn't carefully understand the meaning of ”shared use scan code trial”.
Because other hotels I booked also have free use. I plugged it in and used it. The children had fun playing with it, and it didn't vent for a while. Then I didn't understand it either, and saw a big ”damage compensation” on the humidifier, so I repaired it for a long time.
Finally, the head of the family woke up in the middle of the night and saw that I was still fiddling with why it was broken, and then said that this might mean scanning the code to pay.
5.9 yuan for 3 hours.
Since it is paid to use, I don't know why it will steam for a few minutes without scanning the code at the beginning?
In short, it is recommended that the hotel either write it clearly directly, or set the machine not to vent without scanning the code!
This makes me very angry!
