4-Star Hotels in Zhangye

On my way from Lanzhou to Zhangye by high-speed train, I quickly scanned my itinerary and spontaneously chose Runhu Holiday Hotel! It was truly a fantastic hotel! The shuttle driver was incredibly gentle and soft-spoken, never rushing. He helped me with my luggage, always placing it where there were no steps, making it easy to pull. The front desk staff was also great, informing me about the basic evening services and telling me to just call if I needed anything. I have to praise the room – it was spacious and bright, with lighting exactly to my liking, and the layout was excellent. A nice little detail: after I washed some clothes, they immediately provided a small packet of laundry detergent the next day! When I called for a latex pillow, it was delivered promptly the next day – very responsive! Plus, there were daily snacks and fruits, and the beverages were free! They even had a humidifier! I didn't get to use the foot bath, though. I'll definitely choose Runhu again when I come back to Zhangye! It's really excellent! 👍

One of the nicest hotels I got to stay at in China so far despite it being the cheapest. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, from the front desk clerks to the doorman. Beautifully decorated rooms with complementary snacks brought to the room every night (either fruits or an assortment of biscuits). The hotel is only 1000m from Zhangye West Train Station with tons of restaurants just a few meters away. In early April I was able to find a parking spot in the private parking lot in front of the hotel even late at night. Highly recommended experience.

Traveling solo during the off-season, I booked this very comfortable hotel for just over 100 RMB. I recall they offer a shuttle service, so transportation isn't an issue. There's also a great breakfast spot nearby (serving 'Beef Xiaofan'). After a day of sightseeing, you can enjoy a foot soak to ease your fatigue in the evening. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangye! (The photo shows local scenery in Zhangye. Most attractions, except for the Giant Buddha Temple, are quite far from hotels in the city, so I recommend self-driving or joining a day tour.)

Great value for money! The room was clean and the price was very reasonable. It's also really close to the train station. The front desk staff, especially the lady, provided excellent service. I didn't expect such a variety of delicious breakfast options for this price! They also offer a shuttle service. Plus, there's a good beef noodle spot nearby!

This hotel is incredibly close to the Danxia scenic area, even closer to the visitor center than some parts of the official parking lot. They host a lot of tour groups, but that's no issue at all! They upgraded my standard room two categories to a family room. No worries about breakfast either; the tour groups are usually gone by 8 AM, just as I'm waking up. There aren't many dining options nearby, but the parking attendant at the entrance was super helpful. All in all, for the price, it's absolutely perfect.

Very nice hotel and pleasant stay in it. The beds are very comfortable, pleasant sleep, no noise. The hotel is located near the western railway station of the high-speed train. we highly recommend staying in this hotel

My family of three made the right choice for this hotel. As soon as the car pulled up, the staff greeted us and took our luggage, which was incredibly reassuring. The housekeeper, mindful of our child, provided slippers, toiletries, and a small toy, which the child loved. The service was personalized, and the room was comfortable, bright, and clean. It felt comfortable for our family of three. The attentiveness was evident in every detail, especially the care provided for families with children. I hope this continues and I'll be back.

The hotel's equipment and facilities are designed to be very user-friendly, taking into account the actual needs and usage habits of the guests. For example, the sockets in the guest rooms are reasonably located, which is convenient for guests to charge and use electronic devices; all kinds of necessary equipment for a four-star hotel are available, the room items are very comprehensive, and a midnight snack plate is also provided, which is really thoughtful! The signs in the public areas are clear and concise, allowing guests to easily find where they want to go; at the same time, the hotel also provides 24-hour room butler service and luggage storage service, which provides great convenience for guests' travel. The sanitation service environment is quite good, relatively convenient, and quiet, and you can sleep well. In short, this is a very satisfactory accommodation experience. A family that provides service with heart!

There's a Korean saying, 'Life on the road is always tough,' meaning that no matter how wonderful a place is, you'll still feel tired and weary away from home. However, during my Silk Road journey, the Zhangye Rainbow Bay International Hotel welcomed my fatigued self with warm smiles. While it doesn't aim for overt luxury, its practical and attentive service truly impressed me. My two-night stay here was incredibly comfortable and created beautiful memories. I sincerely thank the manager for their kind smile and enthusiasm, and all the restaurant staff for their goodwill and care.

Holiday Inn Express has been my default hotel whenever I travel in the US Or in china. I was impressed by the Holiday Inn Express at Zhangye for their excellent customer services, delicious breakfast, and room facilities. Their room rate was also surprisely friendly. This low rate may not last once the hotel completes its renovation.
