2-Star Hotels in Zhangye

I brought my dog, so I looked for a pet-friendly hotel. This hotel was ranked number one at the time and had many different styles. I hesitated for a moment and chose a cheaper business hotel. That's when the nightmare began. I contacted the owner that night. 1. It's the off-season in Zhangye, so there are very few people. The business hotel felt like a rip-off, it was terrifying. 2. You get what you pay for; the price reflects the value. However, when I arrived at the courtyard house that night, I was surprisingly satisfied. The yurts, which I used to dislike, now seemed exceptionally beautiful. I told the owner, ”Your photos don't do them justice.” Secondly, it was very clean, the bed was the perfect firmness, and it had a subtle fragrance. Thirdly, the entire courtyard house was upscale, and the owner's wife's breakfast was also a great option. Overall, I would give it a perfect score. I would definitely choose this place again next time. The owner is friendly, the owner's wife makes delicious food, and there's a night market right outside—it has absolutely no downsides.

I think it was great! The beds were clean and cozy. I came here based on recommendations from other platforms, and they weren't exaggerating. The owner is really nice and thoughtful. My only minor complaints are that the shower area is a bit dark, which made me a little scared showering alone late at night, and the shelf for putting things is a bit high, not very convenient for shorter people. Also, the air conditioning was really hot; even on a low setting, it was still warm. I didn't dare turn it off completely because I wasn't sure if my roommate was hot, but I was sweating all night and couldn't even use the blanket. Other than that, everything was good. The small courtyard is also very inviting, and you can tell it's well-maintained. If I come back to Zhangye in the future, I'll definitely stay here again, haha.

Spectacular! Spacious room, comfortable bed, great shower and a delicious breakfast made our stay special. The staff was very helpful despite the language barrier and made us feel welcomed since we arrived. Complimentary laundry, drinks and a goodbye snack bag were those small touches that make a stay memorable.

This was the most surprising and also the cheapest hotel of my Qinghai-Gansu trip. I originally planned to stay in Zhangye, but I was so tired from traveling all day that I just wanted to find a place near the sights and rest immediately after exploring. The pictures online looked decent, but the room was unexpectedly spacious! What really impressed me was the amazing service from the owner and his wife! This was the best night's sleep I had on the entire trip! This positive review is specifically for the owner and his wife.

I booked a temporary hotel due to a temporary change of itinerary. I was pleasantly surprised. It is located in a park. Each room is separate and private. The car can be parked in front of the room, which is convenient for taking things. The starry sky at midnight is beautiful, and the surroundings are also beautiful. The price-performance ratio is really high. The toothbrush and comb are actually made of bamboo.

The hotel is very close to the scenic area entrance, and there's plenty of parking, which is great for self-driving. The staff are friendly and responsive, and it's very quiet, perfect for a good rest. There are lots of restaurants nearby, so you have plenty of choices. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and provided thoughtful service. The location is convenient for getting around. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and the value for money was outstanding. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip. The hotel has an elegant environment. As soon as you enter the lobby, you will feel at home. The front desk is very enthusiastic, the rooms are well-structured, the beds are very soft, and the parking lot is also relatively convenient. I recommend everyone to stay at Renhe Hotel!

Zhangye was great fun!! Amenities: The facilities are complete! They have everything! The TV can cast to other devices. Cleanliness: It was clean! Environment: The environment was nice, and the curtains were blackout. The only minor drawback was that it wasn't very soundproof. On the night I stayed, other guests checked into the room next door, and they were talking loudly late into the night. I could hear their conversation from my room. Wearing earplugs would solve it. Service: The aunt and uncle (staff) were very nice and hospitable! They resolved any issues I had~

Environment: The courtyard was filled with blooming irises in June, and it's very close to a military horse ranch. Convenient for outings. Service: The owner was very welcoming, providing free pick-up to the campsite and helping to call a taxi when we left. Facilities: The rooms were small but fully equipped, with electric heaters and electric blankets at night. Breakfast included millet porridge, eggs, and side dishes, which tasted quite good.
