For our first night driving through Chenzhou, we chose this guesthouse inside the scenic area. You can drive right to the guesthouse entrance, and the staff will help you with your luggage upstairs. The view upon entering was stunning, overlooking the Xiaodong River; the emerald green water instantly soothed the fatigue of the long drive. The room was very clean and fully equipped, with disposable cups, toilet seat covers, and face towels – a definite plus. However, because it's inside the scenic area, there aren't many places to eat or shop. But you can order in advance and have the restaurant cook for you; the food is just as good as what you'd find elsewhere. The No. 4 viewing area is only a few hundred meters away, and a short walk down the path you can see fishermen casting their nets. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

Right after parking at the guesthouse's back entrance, even before I stepped into the room, I caught a glimpse of the shimmering river nearby. A gentle breeze, carrying the fresh scent of the water, instantly swept away the fatigue from my journey. When I checked in, the owner smiled and told me the room had a direct river view. The moment I opened the door, I was completely stunned—the floor-to-ceiling window offered a full panoramic view of the river. The river was wide, and I could take in the lush greenery and walkways on both banks, even the distant bridge was clearly visible. I didn't even need to step outside; I could simply sit on the sofa by the window and enjoy the entire river view. The room also had a balcony. In the evening, I watched the sunset slowly dip into the river, painting the water in warm golden hues. At night, I saw the lights on the opposite bank gradually illuminate, creating a particularly soothing night scene with the sparkling water. It's truly a wonderful place for relaxation and unwinding!

This hotel wasn't very crowded, and I'm so grateful to the owner for the free upgrade – it really enhanced our experience! The room was clean, the toiletries were high-quality, and there was a large screen TV. The butler service was very thoughtful, definitely a bonus! They even helped with our luggage! The common area on the first basement level was warmly decorated, and the back door on that level opens right onto the riverside, making for a great environment. If I ever go to Chenzhou or Zixing again, I'll definitely choose Zide!

Very thick jeans can be dried for one night. It is convenient to eat breakfast nearby. It is 10 minutes walk from Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area and more than 20 minutes by taxi to Gaoyiling. Very convenient ～ The front desk lady is a cool handsome and a beautiful, the attitude is very good, the itinerary is recommended for dinner, great! The room for two nights is very cost-effective ～

I have to recommend this B&B I stayed in when I traveled some time ago! The location is great, close to the scenic area, and there are various specialty snack shops around. Once you enter the room, it is clean and tidy, and the layout is very warm, giving you a homely feeling. Although the facilities are not super luxurious, they are complete and easy to use. I have to praise the lady at the front desk, she is very enthusiastic! She was thoughtful and turned on the air conditioner in advance. Seeing that there were three of us staying, she proactively replenished toothbrushes, disposable slippers and water. She was very responsible. At first I thought she was the boss, but later I found out that she was not. It was really worry-free for the boss to have such responsible employees. The lady also contacted me in advance to tell me the detailed route. After checking in, she also shared many niche attractions and food tips that only locals know. Living here is as comfortable as visiting a friend's house. It is very cost-effective and must be praised! Next time I come here, I will definitely choose this one!

The hotel environment was excellent, and the rooms were fully equipped. Located by Dongjiang Lake, the view of the lake was immediately apparent upon opening the curtains. The two receptionists were very friendly. They even provided a complimentary breakfast for our group of three, which was fantastic. The staff reminded us to only book the room if we were satisfied, to avoid having to pay a discount if we were not happy with it. Seeing how attentive and responsible the staff were, and being very satisfied with the room, we booked immediately. Overall, we were very satisfied.

This stay is directly given a full score of 10 points, and the overall is impeccable. The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance to the business district/subway station, and it is very convenient to eat and go shopping. The room is spacious, the whole house is cleaned spotlessly, the corners are dusty, the bathroom is dry and wet, and the hot water is sufficient and stable. The mattress is soft, the sound insulation effect is excellent, and you sleep well all night. The check-in at the front desk is efficient, the staff is gentle and caring, and the demand is responsive. The breakfast buffet is rich and fresh, and the cleaning is regularly replenished. The comprehensive strength ceiling in the same price, the first choice for travel accommodation, will definitely stay again next time!

The hotel is in a great location, within the Bailang Town scenic area. The lake is right outside the door, and the design is Instagram-esque and very stylish. They also offer welcome snacks. The hostess was also very kind. She saw us karaoke outside in the evening and treated us to a barbecue. The hotel also has a KTV from 8:30 to 10:00 PM, with excellent sound equipment. It's also very convenient to ride a donkey around the lake from the hotel. The scenery along the way is beautiful and enjoyable! The only downside was that the inn had stored an electric scooter belonging to a restaurant called ”Lakeside Fisherman.” These little, yellow scooters—remember, the yellow Hello Kitty one?—were too rickety to ride up a hill by ourselves; we had to push them up on the slopes. We finally got to the restaurant entrance and asked for a replacement. The owner had a whole bunch of new, large scooters parked outside, renting them the same at the B&B or the restaurant for 60 yuan a day. The owner immediately said he couldn't replace them. We asked why they had one parked outside, and he asked if we were eating at his restaurant. We said no, and he immediately said he couldn't. So, this was also a bundled purchase. If we didn't eat at his restaurant, we'd have to blame ourselves for this awful scooter. There were plenty of new, large scooters parked outside, so why didn't they replace it? It was their own fault. It was so poorly performing. While we were pushing it, our child fell on a hill, injuring his arms and legs. We showed him the problem, but the owner didn't think it was a problem and even asked if we wanted to eat. B&Bs should be mindful of the integrity of their partners. Everything else was excellent!

The location is fantastic, surrounded by tons of great food options – you can just head downstairs and hit up all sorts of local snacks. It's super convenient for getting around, eating, drinking, and having fun, all in one spot. Really hassle-free! The stay itself was lovely too; it was clean, hygienic, and the facilities and service were all excellent.
