"The view was decent, the room was relatively clean, and they provided fruit. However, at around 6 AM, there was no mist over the river from the room, and the second-floor common area was unbearably hot without air conditioning. The layout to the rooms was inefficient; the stairs and elevator weren't connected, and I was locked out after dinner. The soundproofing was poor; I could hear water running upstairs. The air conditioning wasn't working properly; even at 18 degrees Celsius with a thin blanket, I was still sweating profusely. This guesthouse is located inside a residential complex, and access requires a facial recognition scan from the owner, making it very inconvenient for those without a car. In short, it's definitely not worth the price. The cheapest room has no view and is extremely small, while the larger rooms suffer from all the aforementioned inconveniences."

The simple yet elegant decor, combined with a spacious layout, perfectly blends the natural wood textures with the lake views. Every detail shows great care and thought. The large, floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of Dongjiang Lake, allowing you to witness the magical misty scenery of Dongjiang in the morning and enjoy stunning sunsets with a gentle lake breeze in the evening – it’s both relaxing and healing. The room is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Staying here feels like living inside a beautiful landscape painting, and it's super convenient for sightseeing. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!"

"The room was spacious, and the public areas were definitely worth the price. The photo op spot on the second floor was also a nice touch. We drove there, and parking was very convenient. When we used the bath, they proactively asked if we needed a bath liner, and they provided real, large towels (I'm so fed up with some B&Bs and hotels that only offer disposable ones). The complimentary breakfast was tasty, and if you weren't full, you could order another bowl of noodles for free. It was raining when we left, and the front desk staff specifically came out to offer me an umbrella. I told her we were leaving and wouldn't take it since we couldn't return it, but she said it was fine and not to get wet. Absolutely wonderful. Warm winter sun [Tea around the stove]: Tasted good. [Souvenir gift] Specialty Dongjiang small dried fish: They gave us a big bag, which saved me from having to buy souvenirs myself. Excellent. "Right after parking at the guesthouse's back entrance, even before I stepped into the room, I caught a glimpse of the shimmering river nearby. A gentle breeze, carrying the fresh scent of the water, instantly swept away the fatigue from my journey. When I checked in, the owner smiled and told me the room had a direct river view. The moment I opened the door, I was completely stunned—the floor-to-ceiling window offered a full panoramic view of the river. The river was wide, and I could take in the lush greenery and walkways on both banks, even the distant bridge was clearly visible. I didn't even need to step outside; I could simply sit on the sofa by the window and enjoy the entire river view. The room also had a balcony. In the evening, I watched the sunset slowly dip into the river, painting the water in warm golden hues. At night, I saw the lights on the opposite bank gradually illuminate, creating a particularly soothing night scene with the sparkling water. It's truly a wonderful place for relaxation and unwinding!"

"Riverview B&B is on the riverside when the boat starts. Bath towels are clean and disposable. The decoration of the B&B is also very stylish. The large floor-to-ceiling glass windows have a good view [happy] with a refrigerator, washing machine and kitchen. The kitchen disposable dishes and chopsticks have a takeaway last night. It is very convenient to eat in the kitchen restaurant. You can also make tea by yourself. There is a tea table. Unfortunately, I don’t like tea very much. There are fruits available. The boss is very enthusiastic to help carry the suitcase downstairs. In the morning, the aunt also provides a healthy breakfast. I like to eat it. Some rooms have a bathtub. I didn’t book it. "For our first night driving through Chenzhou, we chose this guesthouse inside the scenic area. You can drive right to the guesthouse entrance, and the staff will help you with your luggage upstairs. The view upon entering was stunning, overlooking the Xiaodong River; the emerald green water instantly soothed the fatigue of the long drive. The room was very clean and fully equipped, with disposable cups, toilet seat covers, and face towels – a definite plus. However, because it's inside the scenic area, there aren't many places to eat or shop. But you can order in advance and have the restaurant cook for you; the food is just as good as what you'd find elsewhere. The No. 4 viewing area is only a few hundred meters away, and a short walk down the path you can see fishermen casting their nets. Overall, a very satisfying stay."
