The room was incredibly clean, tidy and comfortable. Nicely located between the gaoyi national park and the dongjianghu tourist area. The service was exceptional. The owner drove me 3km to a wonderful place to get some food, helped me plan travel arrangements for the next part of my journey and also offered to drive me to the bus terminal. By far the best service and accommodation I have had in my 2 week tour of China. Highly recommend

First, the conclusion—this is the best hostel I've ever stayed in, so I stayed for almost half a month! 【Overall Environment】Very new and clean. The owner has some design background, and the overall feel is minimalist and aesthetically pleasing. 【Facilities】One room even has two separate bathrooms and showers, which is incredibly luxurious and definitely deserves extra points! 【Cleanliness】Very clean. As you can see in the pictures, the lobby and rooms are bright and spotless, with no unpleasant odors. 【Bed and Air Conditioning】The mattress is very soft, not cheap bedding, and feels great against the skin. You don't even need to put on a sheet cover, which is very convenient! The air conditioning is also very powerful, yet it's surprisingly quiet, not disturbing your rest—better than many five-star hotels! 【Entertainment Facilities】The pool table is relatively new. I played a couple of games there every day—so comfortable! Also, there's even a free Switch on the second floor—can you believe it?! 【Food】The owner was incredibly welcoming, recommending many restaurants on the first day and even picking us up and dropping us off. None of them were bad! Especially the **Shell Boxed Meals—yyds! I ate there for a week! [Fun] The owner is quite playful; he brought a drone to play with us. A few of us went to a small canyon with Danxia landforms. This place was even more interesting than Xiaodongjiang, which I visited later, because it was undeveloped and more pristine! [Other] The owner also sang karaoke with us and introduced me to a song called ”Post-Rock” (or ”Slow Rock,” I can't quite remember). The song was fun, but it didn't do justice to the owner's personal charm. His goal this year seems to be skydiving or paragliding; I wish him success! [Summary] Danxia red cliffs reflected in the setting sun, Chenzhou is like a dream, no need to return! Mugen Youth Hostel, definitely worth a stay!

My experience staying at the ”Ancient Times” B&B on Ctrip was fantastic! The owner was incredibly warm and attentive, patiently responding to all my questions, from pre-check-in inquiries to post-check-in needs. Whether I wanted to know about nearby restaurants and attractions or needed some small assistance, the owner always provided detailed advice immediately and was remarkably responsive, making me feel truly cared for. I highly recommend this wonderful B&B; I'll definitely choose it again next time!

The boss is very welcoming and nice. It is a 3-minute walk from the entrance of Xiaodongjiang Scenic Area. It is a very clean homestay. Disposable bath towels and face towels are also provided. The decoration is also very beautiful.

The price-performance ratio is very high, and the double bed room I stayed in was super big. I checked in during the Mid-Autumn Festival and there were not many guests. The front desk upgraded my standard king room to a deluxe king room for free. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the Xiaodong River. It is convenient to walk or run along the riverside trail. The night view of Xiaodongjiang River from the rooftop on the 11th floor is also very beautiful. It is about 3 kilometers away from the Dongjiang Lake Visitor Center. I checked out in the morning and parked my car in the visitor center parking lot, which cost 10 yuan. Originally, I booked a hotel near the visitor center. There was no breakfast and it was expensive. I canceled my reservation and rebooked this hotel. It included breakfast. Even if I paid the extra 10 yuan parking fee at the visitor center, it was still a good deal.

This room: Hygiene can really rest assured, the room is very clean and tidy, there is no smell, there is no need to worry about unhygienic problems, and when I checked out, I just saw the proprietress holding the quilt to clean. Then we originally prepared a sex sheet, but later found that the sheets were very clean and smell-free and I didn't bother to use 😂. Then the decoration style of the hotel is very like, the curtains are pulled, the lights are opened, and the feeling is very warm, romantic and comfortable. The toilet facilities are also very good, the toilet is an automatic toilet, very clean! 👍 The stay experience for 2 days and 2 nights is very good! Location: Get up at 5:30 in the morning to buy tickets for Dongjiang Lake. After leaving the hotel, you can enter the scenic spot in less than 5 minutes. After buying the tickets in less than 15 minutes, you will come back. Then the proprietress is very good, if you are lucky, you can upgrade the room for free if you have a room available (we are like this); Later, the key card was also lost when we were playing Dongjiang Lake 😳, but the proprietress also very patiently told us to let us find it again, don't worry about anything 😺; When I went out in the morning, I met the proprietress, and the proprietress would also say hello and say good morning, which made people feel very good! Finally, when we went to the high-speed rail station, the proprietress took the initiative to help us find a carpool, saving time and effort. Overall, it is a very good choice to travel here! I also wish other travelers who come to Dongjiang can also have a pleasant journey. The B&B environment is amazing! It's a good place to travel! The environment is particularly good! This homestay is very comfortable! Backed by the mountains in the villa area! Very quiet and not noisy! The air is so fresh! Moreover, if you go to the West Railway Station, the B&B will help you book a car, which is really amazing. When we left, the owner was also very nice and helped us book a car to Chenzhou West Railway Station. When we first arrived, the owner recommended us a restaurant that the locals go to, and even lent us an electric scooter for us to go around! ! It’s really good! It is also very close to Xiaodong River. You can walk to the scenic area with your ID card and take a bus. And! ! Even the tickets to the scenic spot were booked by the boss, and no other handling fees were charged! ! The lady is really awesome! class! good! Look at the pictures, babes

The location of the inn is good, 5 minutes walk to the entrance of Dongjiang Scenic Area, convenient access, not on the roadside, quiet. There is a large garden, you can sit in the courtyard room, watch the flowers, watch the sky, watch the land. Booked a room with a balcony, you can enjoy tea and read. The room space is exquisite, the bedding is comfortable, the facilities are complete, the health is not bad, the price does not bring breakfast, but there are many places to eat outside the door, you can come to the bowl of pig powder. Free parking is available outside the inn, and the inn also provides scenic spot ticket purchase service, and there are discounts for ticket purchase.

The location is excellent, opposite the Xiaodongjiang No. 2 observation deck, the boss and his wife are enthusiastic,  help lift the luggage upstairs. Dinner is provided, and a fish with a mouth is very fresh and tender. It is a bit damp. There is no door or curtain in the rain room. The water flows all over the place. Pay attention to non-slip; you can use  disposable bath towels to dry the water on the ground as much as possible to prevent slipping and falling.

The hotel is clean and hygienic in the scenic area. The lake is warm and satisfied.
