"The guest room was spacious, with two twin beds pushed together and an extra mattress, making the bed exceptionally wide and large, very comfortable to sleep in. The hotel wasn't old; in my opinion, it was the best hotel in town.
The lake view from the room was fantastic. I think the best time to view it is 40 minutes before sunrise and two to three hours before sunset. The morning sunlight reflecting off the lake is so bright it's blinding, while artificial light sources at night spoil the ambiance.
The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options, but the taste was just average."

"The room is very comfortable, the old white tea is very suitable for my taste, the whole comfort is full ～ It is very convenient to associate laundry and drying. Very thick jeans can be dried for one night. It is convenient to eat breakfast nearby. It is 10 minutes walk from Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area and more than 20 minutes by taxi to Gaoyiling. Very convenient ～ The front desk lady is a cool handsome and a beautiful, the attitude is very good, the itinerary is recommended for dinner, great! The room for two nights is very cost-effective ～"

"Right after parking at the guesthouse's back entrance, even before I stepped into the room, I caught a glimpse of the shimmering river nearby. A gentle breeze, carrying the fresh scent of the water, instantly swept away the fatigue from my journey. When I checked in, the owner smiled and told me the room had a direct river view. The moment I opened the door, I was completely stunned—the floor-to-ceiling window offered a full panoramic view of the river. The river was wide, and I could take in the lush greenery and walkways on both banks, even the distant bridge was clearly visible. I didn't even need to step outside; I could simply sit on the sofa by the window and enjoy the entire river view. The room also had a balcony. In the evening, I watched the sunset slowly dip into the river, painting the water in warm golden hues. At night, I saw the lights on the opposite bank gradually illuminate, creating a particularly soothing night scene with the sparkling water. It's truly a wonderful place for relaxation and unwinding!"

YYuetPinkThis hotel wasn't very crowded, and I'm so grateful to the owner for the free upgrade – it really enhanced our experience! The room was clean, the toiletries were high-quality, and there was a large screen TV. The butler service was very thoughtful, definitely a bonus! They even helped with our luggage! The common area on the first basement level was warmly decorated, and the back door on that level opens right onto the riverside, making for a great environment. If I ever go to Chenzhou or Zixing again, I'll definitely choose Zide!

The design of the room will perfectly integrate modern simplicity with natural Zen. The facilities are high-end brands. The bedding is especially comfortable. Sleeping overnight until dawn. The service of the homestay is impeccable. From the warm and professional reception at the front desk to the friendly greetings of the restaurant aunt, every staff member is sincere and thoughtful, responsive, planning the tour route for us, the experience is excellent.
The catering recommended by the staff of the hotel is also commendable. The authentic Dongjiang fish and farm dishes are fresh and taste pure.
In short, this is a journey of healing both physically and mentally. Going to the villa is worthy of the name and has a sense of ”homecoming”. Next time you come to Zixing, this is undoubtedly the best choice!

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is really nice. I love the decor; it's beautifully arranged. The room is spacious and clean, and there's even a small courtyard. The weather right now is perfect for sitting in the courtyard, enjoying the breeze and sipping tea—it's incredibly comfortable.
The location is fantastic, right at the entrance to the Dongjiang Lake scenic area, just a short walk away. It's super convenient, and there are many restaurants nearby. Stepping out of the courtyard, you're right by the river. Taking a stroll along the river in the evening and enjoying the night view is incredibly relaxing.
The service here is excellent. The owner is a handsome guy who's very patient in answering any questions about sightseeing, and he doesn't just push his own recommendations; he'll suggest other suitable options too. He's a really great person. Standard check-out is at 12 PM, but when we returned from our trip to Xiao Dongjiang, our child had fallen asleep, and he kindly extended our check-out until around 2 PM. There were tangerines and bananas available; I wasn't sure if they were complimentary, but the owner offered some to our child, who said they were very sweet and delicious. All in all, I'm very satisfied and grateful. It was a very pleasant stay!

GGuest UserI have to recommend this B&B I stayed in when I traveled some time ago! The location is great, close to the scenic area, and there are various specialty snack shops around. Once you enter the room, it is clean and tidy, and the layout is very warm, giving you a homely feeling. Although the facilities are not super luxurious, they are complete and easy to use. I have to praise the lady at the front desk, she is very enthusiastic! She was thoughtful and turned on the air conditioner in advance. Seeing that there were three of us staying, she proactively replenished toothbrushes, disposable slippers and water. She was very responsible. At first I thought she was the boss, but later I found out that she was not. It was really worry-free for the boss to have such responsible employees. The lady also contacted me in advance to tell me the detailed route. After checking in, she also shared many niche attractions and food tips that only locals know. Living here is as comfortable as visiting a friend's house. It is very cost-effective and must be praised! Next time I come here, I will definitely choose this one!

GGuest UserThe boss is very welcoming and nice. It is a 3-minute walk from the entrance of Xiaodongjiang Scenic Area. It is a very clean homestay. Disposable bath towels and face towels are also provided. The decoration is also very beautiful.

SstevechanThis guesthouse is located by the Dongjiang River and has an underground parking garage, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. My room was on the second floor with a river view and a tatami setup. It had large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a beautiful river view, perfect for photos. However, the room was a bit small, and the lack of a desk made it inconvenient for business travelers. The steps at the entrance are poorly designed; it's easy to trip when going to the restroom at night, which is especially unfriendly for the elderly and children. The front desk lady was very helpful and shared local sightseeing tips, specifically recommending the sea of clouds at Huilong Mountain. I woke up early to see the sea of clouds and missed breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Overall, it's a great place for a relaxing vacation and photo ops.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, only 4-5 minutes' drive from Xiaodongjiang. We set out for Xiaodongjiang at 7am and were able to catch up with breakfast when we returned to the hotel after the tour. The room was very clean and tidy. The most admirable thing was the 180-degree terrace, which overlooked the beautiful river. In the evening, we could have a drink and a bite to eat on the terrace and chat. I loved it!

Room is lovely and cozy, ac works well, bed is comfy, everything works well except the toilet is easily stuck, and some corners are dusty.
Includes breakfast but gotta walk 8-10 mins. So I skip it.
Recommend visit in summer time.

2205996****The location is excellent, opposite the Xiaodongjiang No. 2 observation deck, the boss and his wife are enthusiastic,  help lift the luggage upstairs. Dinner is provided, and a fish with a mouth is very fresh and tender. It is a bit damp. There is no door or curtain in the rain room. The water flows all over the place. Pay attention to non-slip; you can use  disposable bath towels to dry the water on the ground as much as possible to prevent slipping and falling.
