We rented this hotel for three nights and paid 9,600. We checked in late. We got room 409. We walked in and saw the glowing pyramids behind the curtains!!! Super, we're so happy! After reading reviews of other hotels, both positive and negative, we were worried they'd put us in the Staff Only room... but everything went well! The beds are large and comfortable, with orthopedic pillows. All the furniture is clean and new. The room is pleasant. On the downside, it's important to dust before guests arrive. The floor in the room was a bit dirty, the balcony was covered in dust... Breakfast isn't a buffet, but a set menu. Edible. Again, with a view of the pyramids (but they don't like to clean the windows – we've already figured that out). And the fact that people smoke everywhere is not pleasant. The room itself isn't smoky, but during breakfast, the staff were smoking right in the cooking area ((((... it smelled unpleasant. For those planning to come to this hotel and look for somewhere to eat, there's a very nice restaurant near the main entrance (a couple of shops to the right of the entrance) (the name is written in green letters) - very clean, tasty, and filling. BUT THE MENU PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE VAT AND THEY CHARGE A 12% SERVICE CHARGE. The view of the pyramids from the room was better than the view from the observation deck of the new museum. By the way, the museum is one way from the hotel, and the pyramids are the other way, so they're about the same distance. A taxi costs 60-75 pounds, or Uber. Videos can't be uploaded here. There are no separate photos of the room. But in real life, everything was just like in the profile photo.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations throughout our stay. The young porter who helped with the luggage was especially kind and hardworking. The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to the Sphinx Gate shall buy Online ticket prior go. You can even enjoy views of the pyramids right from the rooftop, which is perfect for photos. The breakfast was also delicious and excellent overall. We were truly impressed and had a wonderful stay.

A 5-Star Stay at Maria Pyramids House– Hidden Gem by the Pyramids! I just wrapped up an unforgettable stay at this charming guest house tucked right next to the Great Pyramids in Cairo, and I can't recommend it enough! If you're dreaming of waking up to ancient wonders without the chaos of the main entrance crowds, this spot is pure magic. It's on the quieter side, so you get that intimate pyramid vibe without the tour bus frenzy. Our junior suite was perfect for two – spacious enough to unwind after a day of exploring, with all the comforts you'd want. But the real highlight? That rooftop breakfast terrace! Sipping coffee while gazing at the two massive pyramids looming in the morning light felt like a scene from a history book come to life. And the WiFi? Rock-solid throughout the hotel – a lifesaver for uploading all those epic photos and staying connected. What truly elevated this trip was the team, led by the incredible owner, Mohamed. He's got this genuine warmth that's rare in hospitality – like chatting with a knowledgeable friend. He hooked us up with insider tips on the best ride-sharing apps to navigate Cairo's wild traffic, spot-on restaurant recs nearby, and even curated a day tour that blew us away. The price was super reasonable, and our guide, Mo Karam, was an absolute standout. Thoughtful, packed with Egyptian history knowledge, and brimming with passion – he fielded my endless questions (seriously, a million of them!) with patience and extra stories that made the sites come alive. Booking him felt like unwrapping a gift. We love venturing out solo, but Cairo's energy is intense – constant traffic from dawn till dusk, and haggling with taxis can eat up your day. With Mohamed's help to hire a driver and car for city jaunts was spot-on; it saved us hours and stress. He was always there for backup, too. The personal touches sealed the deal: When I woke up with a pesky cough one morning, Mohamed sent over a steaming ginger tea to soothe my throat – talk about heartfelt! Then there's Mo, who brews Turkish coffee that's honestly better than anything I tried at local cafes. And the chef? She's a quiet force of kindness – doesn't speak much English, but her caring energy shines through in every meal. The whole staff is like that: friendly, chatty, and eager to help with whatever's on your mind, from hidden gems to quick translations. If you're heading to Cairo, skip the generic chains and book here. It's not just a hotel; it's a warm welcome to Egypt's soul. Already plotting my return! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

You can see the pyramids from the room's balcony. The rooftop bar also offers breakfast and dinner, and I was very satisfied with both the location and the taste! The staff are also very kind and responsive to requests. I highly recommend this hotel near the pyramids.

This was such a lovely place, it was clean, newly created and the staff were all so helpful. The view was amazing, both in the room and rooftop, you can wake up, use the loo or shower and the view of this ancient site will be visible through the window, a beautiful experience. (I chose the pyramid view room) The rooftop was lovely, the view was immaculate, you can see the city around and the view of the pyramids with lights at night, you can see the sunrise and sunset, and the moon cycle too. The staff are always at your service, they often check in on you, unless you want to be alone and they treat you with respect and kindness. I met the managers of the hotel too, who were so welcoming, they offered me tea, good conversation and were overall good genuine people. The room was comfortable, I was alone but had the choice of two beds, you can see the view from the bed, the room was very clean, you are provided with everything you need, and if you don't have it you can ask. The room was also temperature regulated with Aircon above the bed, and a remote to control the speed and temperature, much needed in the Egyptian weather. Overall the experience was great and I met other people who were staying in the hotel who said good things, which is always good to know when you are alone, staying somewhere new. Although odd, the hotel being close to the highway was great for getting taxis, bikes and crossing over to walk into the city and town. When you are in your room, and the windows are closed, you rarely hear anything, beside light sounds, it doesn't disturb my sleep at all. The staff were great, the owners were great, the location was great and it was a good experience which I recommend.

If you want to be close to the pyramids, this hotel is well located. It's on a quiet street that is only a short drive from the GEM and Giza pyramids. However, there is nothing around the hotel and it's not pleasant to walk. The view from the rooftop and restaurant is nice, but not really from the rooms. Although I could see the pyramids from my room, there was a lot in the way and the windows were small and in the corner. My friends had the nice room with the windows on two walls, but there view still wasn't all that great. The pictures of the rooms make them look better than they really are. The staff are friendly and breakfast is great.

Everything is great. Good locations to visit the Puranas. Just right outside the pyramid entrance. The view from the roof top is magnificent. Food was average.. but it’s edible. However, the only thing I like to mentioned is the amenities in the room isn’t too complete. We booked 2 rooms and Some of the rooms come w table lamp but the other doesn’t. Some of the room comes w plugs but another has no plugs at all so we request for a change of rooms. Couldn’t charge my phone or I have to sacrifice the Tv 🥲. So we asked for a change of rooms They also do not have hairdryer in the room and you need to ask for it. Of course they are very kind people but it’s just a hassle for customers. Another issues we encounter is the poor wifi connectivity and that gets into our nerves. Basically is weak connection thus it gets cut off or totally couldn’t locate the room number at all. Besides, room was comfortable and staff was very helpful and kind. I guess it’s consider a very good place to stay despite those little issues.

Location, location, location! Mohammed and Mustafa and staff are lovely and the best thing about this is location. Also, AC is great and hot water in shower, all really good things. Splurge and get the balcony, because if you get the $15 room, it’s an inside room - read everything carefully. But the balcony gives you breakfast with the pyramids. A couple of doors over there is heaven‘s lounge which you can get beer and alcohol at which is lovely to spend the evenings at with wine under the pyramids. You will get nothing of that here. I do have a bit of a bone to pick with trip.com because they didn’t do their research as there is no restaurant, there is no bar and there is no pool or gym in this place, which is why I downgraded the amenities. However if you were going to Giza for the pyramids, this is the place. Yes it is right behind the camel and the horse staging area so from 8 o’clock in the morning till quitting time which is 4 o’clock in the afternoon, you will have the authentic experience. If you do not like trash, if you do not like dust, if you do not like smells, you should probably just not be coming to Egypt in general! Because it is everywhere. However, if you want the authentic experience at the base of the pyramids, this is the place. Oh, and the Internet is crap… So just make sure you have a really good cellular plan because it’s no better anywhere else in Egypt either. From our experience, and we have traveled everywhere, the left over British colonies just don’t have a really great Wi-Fi infrastructure.

Wow, Maruro. Find this hotel on the booking website Look at the location and feel very good The result is due to the omission of the reservation system We were arranged in other rooms. Miss counter worked hard to help me find other vacant rooms Let me move in smoothly. And I'm crazy about us. How to refuse annoying vendors on the road Although only staying for a short day But it makes me think they're great.
