Great
GGuest UserThe Mena House's views and location are truly unbeatable, one of a kind in the world. You can only fully experience the pyramids from sunrise, midday, to sunset by staying here. As night falls, without the pyramid lights, they appear exceptionally serene and mysterious, framed by the hotel's lights and palm trees. This is an experience that simply can't be replicated by just visiting for a quick photo. The hotel also carries immense historical significance. The Cairo Conference was signed here, and photos of the 'Big Three' from that era hang on the walls, full of historical resonance. For me, paying for this unique scenery and historical ambiance was absolutely worth it; I have no regrets. However, frankly speaking, the hotel's amenities, service, and attention to detail absolutely do not match its price (you're paying for the location, not the service). The hairdryer has weak power, leaving my hair dry and frizzy at the ends. The toiletries, especially the toothpaste, are of poor quality, like a product without any brand or quality assurance. There's only one type of pillow, and it's so soft it offers no support whatsoever. After one night, my neck was aching – not what you'd expect from a high-end hotel. The restaurant experience was also terrible: I ordered soup, and it was served without a spoon. I couldn't find one anywhere, and by the time the waiter brought one, the soup was completely cold. The restaurant staff would even specifically ask if everything was satisfactory, but by then, complaining felt pointless, so I could only say 'it's fine.' What was even more unsettling was the fake, superficial service. When I genuinely needed help or efficiency, no one was around. When checking out, my suitcase had spinner wheels and was very easy to push, but a staff member insisted on 'helping' with it, performing this kind of meaningless, superficial gesture. In summary: Staying here means paying for the pyramid views and the historical sentiment, not for comfort and service. Those who value scenery and historical significance might find it acceptable, but anyone seeking genuine service quality and a premium lodging experience will definitely be disappointed.

GGuest UserI'd been staying exclusively in hostels for 27 days of my trip. Craving a bit of personal space, I decided to book a hotel for the first time during this journey. To sum it up: it's affordable, clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They offer complimentary breakfast for two per night, provide fresh towels and amenities, and both the bathroom and room are spotless. The reception staff are genuinely welcoming. I was very satisfied with my two-night stay, costing just over 25,000 won per night. You get an excellent view of the Great Pyramid of Khufu from the rooftop. The nearby shops are also significantly cheaper compared to those directly in front of the pyramids. The pyramids are just a 15-20 minute walk away. If you're traveling in Egypt, looking to save money, but still want a pyramid-view accommodation with breakfast included, I highly recommend this place. For breakfast, the reception staff asked for our preference, offering a choice between local dishes or brunch. The mango juice and falafel were delicious!

MM20402****The service was quite good. Lower floors near the road can be a bit noisy, but higher floors are fine. They upgraded our room type, and the room was large and clean, with quick service response. The hotel has many restaurants; the ramen and fried chicken at the Japanese restaurant were a lifesaver for my 'Chinese stomach' – I really couldn't eat any more 'Western food.' The view from the Nile corner is excellent; if you get up early, you can see a beautiful sunrise. It's a bit far from the airport but convenient for visiting the pyramids. My friend's room was even higher and offered a direct view of the pyramids; with a camera, you can get some amazing shots.

GGuest UserThe staff are all very helpful. The toilet and shower are also beautiful. There are soap, tissues and toilet paper. The door has a key and a chain lock. There is also a safe in the room. It was a very nice hotel. I moved to a different hotel now but I want to return to this hotel again (-_-)

GGuest UserWe had a very good stay in the hotel, I would like to thanks Mohamed and Mustafa for their great service, they make us feel extremely comfortable, for every single thing we required they were always ready to help us, maybe something to improve is the internet connection but not big deal, for sure I would come back.

GGuest UserThe hotel and room were clean and gave you a feel of Egypt, and the shower had good water pressure. You can see the three great pyramids from the rooftop, but unfortunately the Sphinx was hidden by trees and only its face could be seen! Breakfast is not a buffet, but an omelet, bread, tomato-stewed vegetables, and yogurt. When I stayed at another Giza hotel on a different day, I was given a welcome drink and an introduction to the pyramid view, but there was no such thing here, and when I checked in, I was a little confused because I didn't have a reservation, but in the end I found a reservation. . I think it would be a better hotel if there was more welcoming service.

DDaniel & Cici Around the WorldGiza Pyramid Inn is very conveniently located, right in front of the Pyramids, offering an amazing view from the rooftop. The breakfast was very good, and the ability to wake up and see the pyramids right outside is definitely a highlight of this stay. However, there are a few important things to consider. While the pyramid view is stunning, the neighborhood itself leaves much to be desired. The area is chaotic, not well-organized, and quite dirty. As this is a very touristic spot, you will constantly encounter people asking for money or trying to overcharge you for something, which makes it essential to stay alert at all times. The hotel itself follows the same pattern. The tours they offer are significantly overpriced, likely because some people pay for the convenience, but the prices are far from reasonable. Additionally, we were promised a takeaway breakfast due to our early flight, but when the time came to collect it, they said it was not available. Despite confirming our departure time in advance, we ended up having to buy food at the airport, which was disappointing. Overall, if you are staying here for the location and the pyramid view, it might be worth it. However, be prepared for the typical tourist traps and be mindful of overpricing. It’s a place that offers convenience, but with some frustrations along the way.

GGuest UserThe location is super great. The hotel is located in front of the gate on the Sphinx side of the pyramids. There is a ticket booth diagonally in front of the hotel, and there is nothing blocking the view on the terrace, so you can watch the night show while eating here. The room is clean and spacious. The servers at the restaurant are very kind. The food is not expensive for a hotel, so we ate here. You need to make a reservation to eat on the rooftop, but the view from the lowest terrace (no reservation required) is better because there is nothing blocking the view. The only drawback is that the water pressure in the shower is so weak that it is the weakest I have ever experienced overseas, and I was worried about whether I could wash my feet. Also, the drainage is poor, so my feet get wet every time I use the toilet afterwards. However, the location and the view are good, so I am satisfied.

SSkee82Staff Amazingly friendly and helpful, The views are incredible from room to resturant to roof top, where i got to watch and hear the evening light show in fully glory. Booked for my 1st 2nights in Egypt, perfect location in front of the sphinx side entrance to the plateau, literally a 2 min walk.. This side of Giza is rough and ready though.. with animals being housed on the ally leading to the entrance so expect the smell of horse and camel poo (which wasn’t a problem once in the hotel) also expect to be bothered a lot by the local hustlers and kids begging for something/anything.. The streets are noisy and hectic this side but you also get a more authentic Giza experience, The Hotels staff were super accommodating and welcoming, they were willing to help organise trips and guides but I wasn’t in need as i already had stuff arranged.. Breakfast was basic but enough to get your day of adventure started with plenty of option around for off site dinning. The best thing apart from the staff was the view tho.. with all 3 great pyramids and sphinx in view and close enough to get the full effect inc the sounds of the light show. Would recommend for a cheap budget stay close to the entrance of the plateau with the best views
