Giza Hotels with Pools

Huge compliments to the hotel and the Chinese manager! We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM because clearing customs at the Egyptian airport took three to four hours. The hotel restaurant had just closed, and we were all starving, having missed dinner. We were incredibly lucky to meet a very kind Chinese manager who arranged for the restaurant to cook each of us a bowl of tomato and egg noodles. Only those who've experienced it can truly understand the value of a genuine bowl of tomato and egg noodles in Egypt! When we went to the restaurant, the private dining room table was set, the air conditioning was on, and there was even sliced watermelon. When we finished, we tried to pay, but the staff said it was on the manager. OMG, after being abroad for so long, I was so touched to experience such special treatment just for being Chinese! We also ordered Chinese food from the hotel twice during our stay, and the taste was incredibly authentic, just like the Chinese restaurants in hotels back home – it felt like being transported back to China in an instant. The room was very spacious, and even the power outlets were Chinese standard, so we didn't need any adapters, which was wonderful!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The room views and lounge areas were fantastic too! The front desk staff, the servers at Restaurant 139, and the security personnel all provided excellent service. We requested a late check-out until 2 PM, which gave us plenty of time to relax and explore the hotel. The baggage attendant at the pick-up point was incredibly kind! Just a heads-up, crows do try to sneak some breakfast! One side of the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and I'm really looking forward to staying in the newly renovated section next time, especially since the bathroom didn't have a showerhead, which was a bit inconvenient.

I didn't have high expectations for accommodation in Egypt, so overall, I thought it was pretty good. The room was quite large, a bit old but reasonably clean. The bathroom was okay, but the sink was too small with no space for toiletries, and most importantly, it was leaking. The bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean, and the pillows were very comfy, so we slept soundly and rested well. They provide two complimentary bottles of water daily, and you can ask the front desk for more if needed. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The hotel offers disposable slippers but no toothbrushes or other toiletries. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options and good taste, enough to fill you up before starting your day.

A 5-Star Stay at Maria Pyramids House– Hidden Gem by the Pyramids! I just wrapped up an unforgettable stay at this charming guest house tucked right next to the Great Pyramids in Cairo, and I can't recommend it enough! If you're dreaming of waking up to ancient wonders without the chaos of the main entrance crowds, this spot is pure magic. It's on the quieter side, so you get that intimate pyramid vibe without the tour bus frenzy. Our junior suite was perfect for two – spacious enough to unwind after a day of exploring, with all the comforts you'd want. But the real highlight? That rooftop breakfast terrace! Sipping coffee while gazing at the two massive pyramids looming in the morning light felt like a scene from a history book come to life. And the WiFi? Rock-solid throughout the hotel – a lifesaver for uploading all those epic photos and staying connected. What truly elevated this trip was the team, led by the incredible owner, Mohamed. He's got this genuine warmth that's rare in hospitality – like chatting with a knowledgeable friend. He hooked us up with insider tips on the best ride-sharing apps to navigate Cairo's wild traffic, spot-on restaurant recs nearby, and even curated a day tour that blew us away. The price was super reasonable, and our guide, Mo Karam, was an absolute standout. Thoughtful, packed with Egyptian history knowledge, and brimming with passion – he fielded my endless questions (seriously, a million of them!) with patience and extra stories that made the sites come alive. Booking him felt like unwrapping a gift. We love venturing out solo, but Cairo's energy is intense – constant traffic from dawn till dusk, and haggling with taxis can eat up your day. With Mohamed's help to hire a driver and car for city jaunts was spot-on; it saved us hours and stress. He was always there for backup, too. The personal touches sealed the deal: When I woke up with a pesky cough one morning, Mohamed sent over a steaming ginger tea to soothe my throat – talk about heartfelt! Then there's Mo, who brews Turkish coffee that's honestly better than anything I tried at local cafes. And the chef? She's a quiet force of kindness – doesn't speak much English, but her caring energy shines through in every meal. The whole staff is like that: friendly, chatty, and eager to help with whatever's on your mind, from hidden gems to quick translations. If you're heading to Cairo, skip the generic chains and book here. It's not just a hotel; it's a warm welcome to Egypt's soul. Already plotting my return! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The environment is decent, and the lobby service is okay. There was a security guard with a gun, and everyone's service attitude was very enthusiastic. Breakfast was very average, everything was sickly sweet, and there was no meat dish, just a very unappetizing sausage slice. The hotel is located about 30 meters down a small street next to a green park. I'd say the location is just so-so. There are often young hoodlum-like people in that park, and there are many shops next to this green park: McDonald's, Orange, a convenience store, banks, clothing stores, etc. The bed in the room was huge, the carpet was a bit dirty, and the facilities looked rather old. The housekeeping staff had a great attitude. To get into the room, you had to insert the key card and immediately pull it out. The quality of the card or the card reader was quite poor; I was stuck outside the door several times and had to call housekeeping to let me in. Then, one day, this broken card stopped working twice in a single day, forcing me to go to the lobby twice to get new ones!!! I tipped the cleaning staff 50 EGP, and they did an excellent job! They also fulfilled my request for extra water bottles!!! However, one day, I only had one towel in my room??? I have no idea what happened!!

Location, location, location! Mohammed and Mustafa and staff are lovely and the best thing about this is location. Also, AC is great and hot water in shower, all really good things. Splurge and get the balcony, because if you get the $15 room, it’s an inside room - read everything carefully. But the balcony gives you breakfast with the pyramids. A couple of doors over there is heaven‘s lounge which you can get beer and alcohol at which is lovely to spend the evenings at with wine under the pyramids. You will get nothing of that here. I do have a bit of a bone to pick with trip.com because they didn’t do their research as there is no restaurant, there is no bar and there is no pool or gym in this place, which is why I downgraded the amenities. However if you were going to Giza for the pyramids, this is the place. Yes it is right behind the camel and the horse staging area so from 8 o’clock in the morning till quitting time which is 4 o’clock in the afternoon, you will have the authentic experience. If you do not like trash, if you do not like dust, if you do not like smells, you should probably just not be coming to Egypt in general! Because it is everywhere. However, if you want the authentic experience at the base of the pyramids, this is the place. Oh, and the Internet is crap… So just make sure you have a really good cellular plan because it’s no better anywhere else in Egypt either.  From our experience, and we have traveled everywhere, the left over British colonies just don’t have a really great Wi-Fi infrastructure. 

What a great experience at Jasmine Pyramid Hotel!! All the staff were absolutely amazing shout out to Mahmoud, Merina, Ala'a and Passm, as well as the Kitchen Staff the Head Chef and Faris! Wow! I can honestly say I've never stayed at a place where everyone was so welcoming. Complimentary breakfast was satisfying (considering Ramadan) everything was fresh and good. Close to almost everything and just 900m away from the Great Pyramid of Giza, along with the complimentary Airport Shuttle Services, I extended my stay by a further 2 days. The management organized daily Tours for me with some very professional people and in a very ethical arrangement, (which surprised me because I was concerned about negative tourists reviews of Egypt & it was Ramadan so I expected shorter tours & bad service, but Did_Not experience it) the tours were {pricey} however worth the hassle free nature of seeing this bustling metropolis and all its ancient treasures (btw loved my tour guide). Remember this is a developing country, people are financially challenged, so keep your pennies in your pockets ready. All-in-All I was mesmerized, blown away and charmed by this host. Definitely RECCOMEND!

Everything is great. Good locations to visit the Puranas. Just right outside the pyramid entrance. The view from the roof top is magnificent. Food was average.. but it’s edible. However, the only thing I like to mentioned is the amenities in the room isn’t too complete. We booked 2 rooms and Some of the rooms come w table lamp but the other doesn’t. Some of the room comes w plugs but another has no plugs at all so we request for a change of rooms. Couldn’t charge my phone or I have to sacrifice the Tv 🥲. So we asked for a change of rooms They also do not have hairdryer in the room and you need to ask for it. Of course they are very kind people but it’s just a hassle for customers. Another issues we encounter is the poor wifi connectivity and that gets into our nerves. Basically is weak connection thus it gets cut off or totally couldn’t locate the room number at all. Besides, room was comfortable and staff was very helpful and kind. I guess it’s consider a very good place to stay despite those little issues.

We took a room with the balcony. We were immediately offered another room, on the roof with a small window. We refused and regretted at night, it was very noisy. The next day we moved to room 802. Comfortable beds, on the roof the room was clean. Ask in advance to be settled in the roof rooms. At the respiratory Aya recommended us dinner on the steamboat. We agreed. We had a pleasure. We were taken, met from the boat and taken back. At the pool and on the terrace you can make a class photo on the background of the pyramid. I recommend this hotel if you have come to visit the pyramids and a new museum. Responsive staff helped organize a surprise for a friend in honor of his birthday.

My one-night stay on the 4th floor was incredibly disappointing. After arriving exhausted from my travels, I finally settled into sleep, only to have my rest cut short at 8:00 AM by the floor supervisor. Instead of maintaining a quiet environment for guests, he treated the hallway like a social club—shouting at staff, laughing loudly, and using his phone on speakerphone for everyone to hear. I even knocked on my door to alert him to the noise, but he completely ignored me and continued his disruptive behavior until the moment I checked out. I was actually planning to book an additional night, but after this experience, I wouldn't dream of staying here again. It is shocking that a supervisor would have so little respect for paying guests
