Great
GGuest UserThe Mena House's views and location are truly unbeatable, one of a kind in the world. You can only fully experience the pyramids from sunrise, midday, to sunset by staying here. As night falls, without the pyramid lights, they appear exceptionally serene and mysterious, framed by the hotel's lights and palm trees. This is an experience that simply can't be replicated by just visiting for a quick photo. The hotel also carries immense historical significance. The Cairo Conference was signed here, and photos of the 'Big Three' from that era hang on the walls, full of historical resonance. For me, paying for this unique scenery and historical ambiance was absolutely worth it; I have no regrets. However, frankly speaking, the hotel's amenities, service, and attention to detail absolutely do not match its price (you're paying for the location, not the service). The hairdryer has weak power, leaving my hair dry and frizzy at the ends. The toiletries, especially the toothpaste, are of poor quality, like a product without any brand or quality assurance. There's only one type of pillow, and it's so soft it offers no support whatsoever. After one night, my neck was aching – not what you'd expect from a high-end hotel. The restaurant experience was also terrible: I ordered soup, and it was served without a spoon. I couldn't find one anywhere, and by the time the waiter brought one, the soup was completely cold. The restaurant staff would even specifically ask if everything was satisfactory, but by then, complaining felt pointless, so I could only say 'it's fine.' What was even more unsettling was the fake, superficial service. When I genuinely needed help or efficiency, no one was around. When checking out, my suitcase had spinner wheels and was very easy to push, but a staff member insisted on 'helping' with it, performing this kind of meaningless, superficial gesture. In summary: Staying here means paying for the pyramid views and the historical sentiment, not for comfort and service. Those who value scenery and historical significance might find it acceptable, but anyone seeking genuine service quality and a premium lodging experience will definitely be disappointed.

MM20402****The service was quite good. Lower floors near the road can be a bit noisy, but higher floors are fine. They upgraded our room type, and the room was large and clean, with quick service response. The hotel has many restaurants; the ramen and fried chicken at the Japanese restaurant were a lifesaver for my 'Chinese stomach' – I really couldn't eat any more 'Western food.' The view from the Nile corner is excellent; if you get up early, you can see a beautiful sunrise. It's a bit far from the airport but convenient for visiting the pyramids. My friend's room was even higher and offered a direct view of the pyramids; with a camera, you can get some amazing shots.

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious; we stayed in a triple room. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant that offers a free and plentiful breakfast, with views of the pyramids. There aren't many dining options around in the evening, so we ended up eating at the hotel restaurant as well. Our original room was a bit close to the front desk, and since my parents are light sleepers, I spoke to a staff member named Khalid, who kindly moved us to a different room. The staff here are really enthusiastic and helpful.

GGuest UserThe house is absolutely recommendable. The Maria Pyramids House is excellently located right in front of the pyramids. The rooms are newly made and super. The rooms are very, very clean. I also liked the roof terrace with direct view to the pyramids. The hospitality and service of Osama and Ahmed were very, very good. The gentlemen always gave tips for the day design. The kitchen of Mrs Aeda was also great and breakfast on the roof terrace I enjoyed with view of the pyramids. I had 6 nights in the room and enjoyed every day. The House has exceeded my expectations.

GGuest UserI can highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here as a couple; the room was clean, fresh, and pleasant. I'd even say professional. We booked a deluxe room with a bathtub and a glass wall—it was worth it. The bathroom was excellent, perfect for two. The renovations were done well, even a bit sterile, without the typical Egyptian lack of attention to detail. We stayed in this room in December (when we were freezing in other hotels), and overall it was very comfortable. Street noise was minimal, especially compared to Cairo. The internet was average, not the best speed. We watched a movie on TV—the lighting, sound, and picture were very comfortable. The hotel's location is good: a 10-minute taxi ride to the museum and 15-20 to the entrance to the pyramids. Breakfast was okay. Grocery and fruit options are a 5-minute walk away. One downside: the staff in the cafe wasn't very professional (apparently the owner's children are there), but that's a minor detail. Also, if you order food from the cafe's menu, allow for a 40-50-minute wait. But to sum it up, the hotel fulfilled all its main tasks (sleep, relaxation, warmth) perfectly.

GGuest UserThis hotel has some of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met. From the very first moment, the staff made me feel truly welcome. Any question or request was answered immediately — they always helped, explained, and guided me with genuine care. There was a small issue with my room at first, but it was resolved right away. The staff quickly arranged a room change, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally. I stayed in a room with a balcony, and it was absolutely amazing. The view is breathtaking — waking up and seeing the pyramids right in front of you is an unforgettable experience. I would also like to highlight the hotel’s rooftop. Breakfasts are served there, and you can also just relax or order food from the restaurant. Eating while overlooking the pyramids is something truly special. The hotel is located very close to the entrance of the Pyramids area — I even walked back to the hotel on foot after my visit. The Great Egyptian Museum is also just a 10–15 minute car ride, which is extremely convenient. Once again, the staff deserves special praise: very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. They speak English very well, which makes communication easy and comfortable. Airport transfer can be arranged both from and to the hotel, and payment at the reception is possible in both US dollars and Egyptian pounds. Highly recommended — a place where you feel cared for and truly enjoy every moment of your stay.

GGuest UserWe had a very good stay in the hotel, I would like to thanks Mohamed and Mustafa for their great service, they make us feel extremely comfortable, for every single thing we required they were always ready to help us, maybe something to improve is the internet connection but not big deal, for sure I would come back.

CcontumacysgFacilities: Very old, far from 4-star standard. WiFi is incredibly slow, and my 4G/5G mobile data (from an Orange SIM card bought at Cairo Airport T1) was completely unusable once I entered the room. Cleanliness: The hotel is only 20 meters from the pyramid entrance. The downstairs area and the entire hotel lobby reeked of horse and camel manure! The room itself was slightly better. Ambiance: The rooftop dining area offers a nice view. Service: The owner and staff were quite friendly and helpful, which was probably the best aspect of this hotel.

AAhmed.E80Everything is satisfying, Especially Mrs. Amany, the receptionist, For her help in check-in all the time when going there and to all restaurant staff. Other than that the only two problems are that room 503's room key is very tiring to open the door because it is broken and has been re-soldered and also the bathroom exhaust fan cover is not well secured and has fallen off more than once
