Great
GGuest UserThe room was large and clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. The rooftop offers a view of the pyramids, and the location is ideal, being very close to the Grand Egyptian Museum and the pyramid complex. The hotel reception service was also excellent; they even provided me with a bottle of water after I checked out. The young man at the front desk, Fathi Abdul-Raouf, was there the other day.
GGuest UserFacilities: This independent boutique hotel has a full range of amenities. The small elevator requires you to open the door yourself. The ethnic-style decor is very distinctive. There's USB charging, and suites have an extra bathtub. The only minor drawback is the three steps between the bathroom and the bedroom, so you need to be careful when getting up at night.
Cleanliness: It hasn't been open long and is still very well-maintained.
Environment: The rooms facing the pyramids are indeed pyramid-view rooms, feeling incredibly close. You're practically at the attraction, just past Mena Palace. We stayed on the 3rd floor and could see them very clearly. It's very close to the attractions and museums by taxi, but sometimes it's so close that drivers are less inclined to take the fare. Being in the Giza area, there aren't many dining and shopping options, and there's a lot of construction going on, so it's a bit chaotic outside. However, once inside the hotel, it's fine and relatively quiet. Breakfast is served on the rooftop, where there's also a pool.
Service: As a small hotel, the service is exceptionally warm. From the doorman to breakfast, they'll help hail taxis, and assist with luggage storage and retrieval. They freshly prepare ethnic-style dishes for breakfast, offering very personalized service.
HHariExcellent location directly behind the pyramids (away from the pyramid entrance) where you can see two pyramids with a beautiful breakfast view. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. There is no privacy in the bathroom as it is made of glass and is not suitable for groups. It might be acceptable for a couple, but in our case, as we were three friends, there was no privacy, and we had to use the public restroom in reception because the bathroom in our room was not private.
GGuest UserThe absolutely spectacular view of the pyramids from the rooftop was the highlight. The air conditioning worked great, allowing us to fully relax and get a good rest. All the hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful. There were also shops nearby selling snacks and drinks, and the people working there were all very friendly as well. This was a stark contrast to the hotels in Luxor; they really ought to take a page out of this hotel's book!
GGuest UserThe location is super great. The hotel is located in front of the gate on the Sphinx side of the pyramids. There is a ticket booth diagonally in front of the hotel, and there is nothing blocking the view on the terrace, so you can watch the night show while eating here. The room is clean and spacious. The servers at the restaurant are very kind. The food is not expensive for a hotel, so we ate here. You need to make a reservation to eat on the rooftop, but the view from the lowest terrace (no reservation required) is better because there is nothing blocking the view. The only drawback is that the water pressure in the shower is so weak that it is the weakest I have ever experienced overseas, and I was worried about whether I could wash my feet. Also, the drainage is poor, so my feet get wet every time I use the toilet afterwards.
However, the location and the view are good, so I am satisfied.
CcontumacysgFacilities: Very old, far from 4-star standard. WiFi is incredibly slow, and my 4G/5G mobile data (from an Orange SIM card bought at Cairo Airport T1) was completely unusable once I entered the room.
Cleanliness: The hotel is only 20 meters from the pyramid entrance. The downstairs area and the entire hotel lobby reeked of horse and camel manure! The room itself was slightly better.
Ambiance: The rooftop dining area offers a nice view.
Service: The owner and staff were quite friendly and helpful, which was probably the best aspect of this hotel.
GGuest UserDon't expect much for that kind of money))) The location is unique; Giza is just not a tourist destination. The hotel is old, and there's always noise coming from the roof. But the service and food are absolutely superb. Even with such infrastructure, the management tries to maintain its reputation) and, ultimately, it's quite competitive.
KkaiibulavardezThe hotel has a great view of the pyramids and the city life, literally right across the street. They have a rooftop restaurant. The managers were kind and always available. As a solo traveling woman I felt invited and safe. The room is small but clean and had everything I needed. Wifi was tricky so be prepared for that. I do reccommend this hotel for short stays in Cairo!
潘潘Located about 3 kilometers from the Giza pyramid, because it is in the urban-rural junction, and on the roadside, Cairo's health is more worrying, roadside garbage can be seen everywhere! It is a private individual hotel, the price is so-so, but the service is very good, every employee is very nice. Hotel health, and the domestic is not the same day, it is recommended to especially love clean self-contained sheets, pillowcases, etc.!
