The hostel is located at a good location but some of the amenities can be improved for example blanket in the dorms. Also the hostel charges extra to keep bags after check out if you are hanging out. But overall it is a nice budget hostel.

location is good, if you love walking, then you can walk to Malioboro.. and you may find lots of food (street food or restaurant such as Hokben and Richeese) nearby by walking. in front of hotel, you can easily find convenience store indomart or alfamart. but this hotel so strict (how come?!) you must check in after 2pm, i was arrive 1pm and they just offer to keep our luggage and we need to go somewhere, even we were checked out at 6am for morning train. hotel can provide box breakfast with simple meal such as fried rice/noodle with egg, a cup of fruit (watermelon & papaya) and a bottle of water. when entering the room, so many hairs on the floor, like it never been swept, but too tired to ask house keeping to clean and no more wait anymore (sorry forget to take a photo, you may see it under the desk and surrounding). hotel provide water dispenser, so you can easily take by jug in your room.

The room was really great! 👍 Big plus for me that the bathroom wasn't cramped either! 👍 Overall, everything was good. 👍 In the evening, they even called to offer dinner or room service. 👍

I had a very enjoyable stay at Greenhost Boutique Hotel in Yogyakarta. The only minor drawback was the presence of some mosquitoes in the open-air areas during the evening, which is understandable given the lush greenery and outdoor spaces. Overall, this was a small issue compared to the hotel's many strengths. I would happily recommend Greenhost Boutique Hotel to travelers looking for a comfortable stay with a strong focus on environmental sustainability.

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. We took confidence in the reviews posted for this place however, in actuality the level of cleanliness leaves plenty of room for improvement. The bathroom and toilets in particular were stained with scum, smelled bad and towels were thin and old.

I just wanted to share my heartfelt thanks for the excellent service I have consistently received during my stays at this hotel. This is not my first time staying here, and I am always impressed with the warm hospitality and comfort you provide. In 2019, I brought my friends along, and in 2020, I returned with my mum and her friends. This year in 2024, I came back with my mum and husband, and once again, we had an amazing stay. Your team never fails to make us feel welcome, and that’s why I always choose your hotel whenever I travel to Yogyakarta. I look forward to staying with you again in the future. This is the most strategically located hotel I've stayed at during my holidays in Yogyakarta these past few years. I'll definitely come back to stay here again. Thank you to the staff, they were all friendly and helpful.

Good location, good size of the room, staff was friendly, could be more clean, little strange smell in room.

the room is clean. The bathroom and toilet are separated so it's clean. the bath water drain is a bit small,so the bath water is still stagnant,but it is still safe. the head pillow is very high,so it is not comfortable to wear to sleep,so during the stay,i don’t use a pillow. The concept of a room in the middle of the ceiling is good, only for those who are sensitive to the noise of mice running around, which is very disturbing, but it is still good, only when at night, the sound of mice on the horn is very annoying ...
