ZhengtingyiThis Yogyakarta villa offers incredible value for money! It's super clean, absolutely beautiful, has a distinct local charm, and the location is unbeatable! Right outside, you're facing the old city walls. A short walk to the right takes you to a convenience store and the ancient city gate, and once you pass through, you'll find a whole street lined with Yogyakarta's famous jackfruit stew rice. If you turn right and walk just five minutes, you'll reach the Yogyakarta Palace, the sacred Banyan tree complex, and the square – perfect for catching a show or exploring historical sites. The hotel itself smells wonderful (a unique fragrance), and the service quality is excellent. The breakfast offers a wide variety, so you can try something different every day. The small garden and corridors are stunning. And the best part? They have WeChat! Having WeChat makes communication incredibly quick and convenient!

Guest UserPerhaps it's because I was backpacking, or maybe because I was new to the place and didn't tip the bellhop, but I felt like I was treated differently.
1. My Borobudur souvenir slippers went missing while being transported from the lobby to my room. I only discovered this on my checkout day. The service staff tried hard to find them but couldn't. These shoes weren't expensive but held special meaning to me.
2. When I used the hotel's laundry service, the staff didn't proactively deliver my clothes after they were done. Instead, I had to call them before they brought the clothes to my room. What's more, two people came: one with the clothes and another with a POS machine for me to pay on the spot. At other hotels, laundry and other additional services are usually settled all at once during checkout. This made me feel disrespected, as if they thought I would try to skip out on the payment.
3. I ordered takeout to the hotel, and the app showed it had been delivered. I went to the front desk myself only to find my order wasn't there. After informing the front desk, I waited at least another 10 minutes before staff brought my food from outside the hotel.
I really don't think the service here lives up to its so-called five-star rating. I won't be staying here again.

Anonymous UserThe hostel is located at a good location but some of the amenities can be improved for example blanket in the dorms. Also the hostel charges extra to keep bags after check out if you are hanging out. But overall it is a nice budget hostel.

The owner is a very sexy Chinese lady who cooks in the morning and is very kind to lend me some Fengyoujing. The clerk is also a very friendly girl. There are also naughty kittens in the yard looking for food. It is also very safe to stay here.

Guest UserThe hotel is located on a small street, not too far from the train station, but the distance is awkward – a bit too far to walk comfortably, and taking a taxi can be a nightmare due to traffic (it took 30 minutes by taxi at 8 PM). When we were leaving Yogyakarta, it was incredibly difficult to get a taxi from the hotel; we had to wait about 20 minutes each time, and eventually ended up taking two trishaws. The room felt like an old house that had been given a quick paint job. The bathroom was quite basic, especially the shower area, which was tiny and had no door, so water sprayed everywhere, leaving the floor soaking wet.
However, I'd give the service five stars. The room was cleaned thoroughly and meticulously, and the front desk staff were all very warm and responsible. The hotel breakfast was quite rich with a good variety, but it was all Indonesian style, which might not suit a Chinese palate.

Big plus for me that the bathroom wasn't cramped either! 👍

Guest UserA stunning collection of traditional decorative pieces, and the corridors always smell amazing. The service and breakfast were excellent—even with some communication challenges, the staff really tried their best. The dinner buffet isn’t recommended as the variety is quite limited. The location is fantastic, right in the city centre. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Guest UserOverall, our experience was very pleasant. The hotel's location is strategic, situated in the lively Prawirotaman area, which is bustling with foreign tourists, cafes, and restaurants.
The room we stayed in was quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The air conditioning was cold, and the in-room facilities were comprehensive enough to ensure a comfortable rest.
The hotel's amenities include a clean outdoor swimming pool with separate areas for children and adults, as well as a gym and spa for relaxation after sightseeing.
Breakfast was generally tasty and satisfying, though some guests felt the variety could be improved.

クスヌルBecause it's hot in Jogja, I really wanted to shower from head to toe the moment I arrived at the hotel, but there was no hairdryer provided. I was afraid my hair wouldn't dry if I showered at night, and I wouldn't have time to dry it if I showered in the morning.

Rudi
the room is clean.
The bathroom and toilet are separated so it's clean.
the bath water drain is a bit small,so the bath water is still stagnant, but it is still safe.
the head pillow is very high,so it is not comfortable to wear to sleep,so during the stay,i don’t use a pillow.
The concept of a room in the middle of the ceiling is good, only for those who are sensitive to the noise of mice running around, which is very disturbing, but it is still good, only when at night, the sound of mice on the horn is very annoying ...
