Yogyakarta Hotels with Balcony

We stayed at The Prajan Hotel & Villas for 5 nights in the beautiful Omah Manten Villa, and overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable stay. We only experienced a minor issue with the drainage, which was slightly clogged in a few areas. However, the team solved it very quickly, so it never became a major problem. One small suggestion would be to improve the bathroom floor slope, as some areas are quite flat, causing water to collect instead of flowing naturally toward the drainage. Apart from that, everything was wonderful and our stay was very comfortable. A big thank you to all the staff at The Prajan for their warm and attentive service. A special thank you to our butler, Callvin, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. He arranged everything we needed and even organized a birthday surprise for us, which was absolutely lovely and so much fun! His attention to detail and care really made a difference. We also suprised when the Teacher time he always invited us, chit chat with us event to all the guest and he remember all the name of all the guest who's coming, this is very rare. The management must be proud he working with you. Thank you, The Prajan team, for such a wonderful stay. We will definitely remember our time here fondly!

This is a small hotel, but it has an attached restaurant. We stayed in a junior suite, which was quite spacious and even had a small courtyard. The location is excellent – it's about a 7-8 minute walk to the Yogyakarta Palace and only about 5 minutes to the main commercial street. There's also a convenience store just 2 minutes away. It wasn't the best I've ever stayed at, but it was acceptable. I feel like most hotels in the busy areas of Yogyakarta aren't great, so this one's prime location really adds a lot of value.

Perhaps it's because I was backpacking, or maybe because I was new to the place and didn't tip the bellhop, but I felt like I was treated differently. 1. My Borobudur souvenir slippers went missing while being transported from the lobby to my room. I only discovered this on my checkout day. The service staff tried hard to find them but couldn't. These shoes weren't expensive but held special meaning to me. 2. When I used the hotel's laundry service, the staff didn't proactively deliver my clothes after they were done. Instead, I had to call them before they brought the clothes to my room. What's more, two people came: one with the clothes and another with a POS machine for me to pay on the spot. At other hotels, laundry and other additional services are usually settled all at once during checkout. This made me feel disrespected, as if they thought I would try to skip out on the payment. 3. I ordered takeout to the hotel, and the app showed it had been delivered. I went to the front desk myself only to find my order wasn't there. After informing the front desk, I waited at least another 10 minutes before staff brought my food from outside the hotel. I really don't think the service here lives up to its so-called five-star rating. I won't be staying here again.

Good budget hostel near the city centre. The pool is quite clean and there are a lot of spaces to hang out with other travelers and also a stove where you can make coffee or noodles.

The hosts are very nice and helpful. They really try to make your stay pleasent and give you all the helpful tips. But I have to write - place is very run down. Room ia big, but empty. Thw bed is clearly old and very uncomfortable, also linen is stained (that we found to be a big peoblem in whole indonesia and unaccaptable). The garden is also very run down and has a big well that is source of huge amount of nosquitoes (we killed 8 on our first day in room). The who place is dusty and coffee cups were not washed properly, so we did not use them. Breakfast is choice Indonesian or western. We chose Indonesian, but it was very strong flaviours for breakfast, so just be aware, also a bit too oily. This is not fault of hosts of course but nearby is mosque and its noise wakes you up at 4 am. The room with private bathroom was quite pricy and frankly not worth it, maybe cheaper rooms makes sence.

The staff are incredibly friendly, right from the security guard at the entrance to those in the rooms. The rooms are clean, the water is clean, and the swimming pool on the top floor is great. Highly recommended! There aren't any connecting doors between rooms yet, but you can request adjoining rooms (if available).

This is my third time staying at this hotel, if I'm not mistaken. It's close to the city center, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious! 😍😍😍

Well situated in the middle of town, walked to and back to malioboro. Just slightly outside the traffic area of malioboro and inside of the castle wall of Yogyakarta, but easier to get into the attraction in town. Were a trip to meet my old friends so its great point to meet in the middle of friends around yogya that resided at different places they are very nice people too, the worker there. 200.000 were left on the desk by assuming the person who were there before me. they didn't check. it was still there last time I check.

Because it's hot in Jogja, I really wanted to shower from head to toe the moment I arrived at the hotel, but there was no hairdryer provided. I was afraid my hair wouldn't dry if I showered at night, and I wouldn't have time to dry it if I showered in the morning.

the room is clean. The bathroom and toilet are separated so it's clean. the bath water drain is a bit small,so the bath water is still stagnant,but it is still safe. the head pillow is very high,so it is not comfortable to wear to sleep,so during the stay,i don’t use a pillow. The concept of a room in the middle of the ceiling is good, only for those who are sensitive to the noise of mice running around, which is very disturbing, but it is still good, only when at night, the sound of mice on the horn is very annoying ...
