Guest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near key attractions: the Sultan's Palace, the Water Palace, and the Malioboro Promenade. They are all within walking distance.
The hotel is clean, the rooms are cleaned daily, and the grounds are meticulously maintained. The single-story hotel creates a unique atmosphere of warmth and comfort.
The hotel staff is ready to assist with any needs: exchanging money, visiting attractions, or purchasing a SIM card. We were asked about a convenient cleaning time for our room.
The hotel has a small restaurant where you can order food at your convenience. The selection is limited, but the food is delicious and lovingly prepared.

The owner is a very sexy Chinese lady who cooks in the morning and is very kind to lend me some Fengyoujing. The clerk is also a very friendly girl. There are also naughty kittens in the yard looking for food. It is also very safe to stay here.

The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta offers a prime, central location that makes exploring the city effortless. It is undeniably old but charming, successfully preserving a unique heritage atmosphere that feels like a step back in time.
However, the layout feels a bit scattered and lacks a cohesive flow, suggesting the original design wasn't particularly well-planned for modern guest movement. While the colonial aesthetics are beautiful, the property is clearly showing its age and is in need of a refurbishment to bring the facilities and room interiors up to a more competitive standard.

クスヌルBecause it's hot in Jogja, I really wanted to shower from head to toe the moment I arrived at the hotel, but there was no hairdryer provided. I was afraid my hair wouldn't dry if I showered at night, and I wouldn't have time to dry it if I showered in the morning.

Guest UserOverall, our experience was very pleasant. The hotel's location is strategic, situated in the lively Prawirotaman area, which is bustling with foreign tourists, cafes, and restaurants.
The room we stayed in was quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The air conditioning was cold, and the in-room facilities were comprehensive enough to ensure a comfortable rest.
The hotel's amenities include a clean outdoor swimming pool with separate areas for children and adults, as well as a gym and spa for relaxation after sightseeing.
Breakfast was generally tasty and satisfying, though some guests felt the variety could be improved.

Sukon AtyathaI had a wonderful experience staying here with my family. Everything from the location to the facilities was top-notch, but a few things really stood out:
The Food: The breakfast spread was impressive. As someone looking for Halal options, I was very pleased. The beef soup was absolutely delicious and a must-try! They even had a fun touch with popcorn on the breakfast menu, which was a hit.
The Room: One of the best parts was the shower—the water pressure was incredibly strong, making for a very refreshing start to the day.
The Staff: I am truly impressed by the service. The staff were professional, kind, and went out of their way to help us.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yogyakarta. We will definitely be back!

Rudi
the room is clean.
The bathroom and toilet are separated so it's clean.
the bath water drain is a bit small,so the bath water is still stagnant, but it is still safe.
the head pillow is very high,so it is not comfortable to wear to sleep,so during the stay,i don’t use a pillow.
The concept of a room in the middle of the ceiling is good, only for those who are sensitive to the noise of mice running around, which is very disturbing, but it is still good, only when at night, the sound of mice on the horn is very annoying ...
