Yogyakarta Hotels with Bars

Located in the city center, with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The service was excellent, and our room had a window. Overall, we were very satisfied. The hotel was easy to find and definitely recommended.

The hostel is located at a good location but some of the amenities can be improved for example blanket in the dorms. Also the hostel charges extra to keep bags after check out if you are hanging out. But overall it is a nice budget hostel.

My experience at ARTOTEL Yogyakarta is truly impressive — the digital art installations at the reception area, well chosen art sculptures and paintings, the warm staff greetings, the scent, the atmosphere, the design, and the overall hospitality felt like a real piece of modern art. It sets very high standards for the ARTOTEL chain.

Stayed in a deluxe room with a view of Mangkubumi street. In the evening, I could enjoy the 'takbiran' parade right from my room.

Perhaps it's because I was backpacking, or maybe because I was new to the place and didn't tip the bellhop, but I felt like I was treated differently. 1. My Borobudur souvenir slippers went missing while being transported from the lobby to my room. I only discovered this on my checkout day. The service staff tried hard to find them but couldn't. These shoes weren't expensive but held special meaning to me. 2. When I used the hotel's laundry service, the staff didn't proactively deliver my clothes after they were done. Instead, I had to call them before they brought the clothes to my room. What's more, two people came: one with the clothes and another with a POS machine for me to pay on the spot. At other hotels, laundry and other additional services are usually settled all at once during checkout. This made me feel disrespected, as if they thought I would try to skip out on the payment. 3. I ordered takeout to the hotel, and the app showed it had been delivered. I went to the front desk myself only to find my order wasn't there. After informing the front desk, I waited at least another 10 minutes before staff brought my food from outside the hotel. I really don't think the service here lives up to its so-called five-star rating. I won't be staying here again.

An Exceptional Stay in Yogyakarta I stayed at Arkadewi Boutique Hotel Prawirotaman during my time in Yogyakarta, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best hotel experiences I have had in Indonesia. From the moment I arrived, every member of the staff welcomed me with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism. They were always attentive and helpful, and their hospitality made me feel truly comfortable throughout my stay. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, extremely clean, and very comfortable. The entire hotel has a peaceful and refined atmosphere, making it a wonderful place to relax after spending the day exploring Yogyakarta. What impressed me most, however, was the people. Great facilities can make a hotel comfortable, but it is the kindness of the staff that makes a stay memorable. I felt very well taken care of here, and I am sincerely grateful to everyone at Arkadewi for their hospitality. For anyone visiting Yogyakarta, especially international travelers, I highly recommend this hotel. When I return to Yogyakarta, I will definitely stay here again. 1. The hotel staff provided excellent and friendly service. 2. The hotel ambiance is luxurious. 3. The hotel also has a pleasant and refreshing scent. 4. The welcome drink was refreshing when I checked in during the day, and in the evening it was like ginger tea. 5. The room also met my request: clean, fragrant, tidy, with great facilities, and the AC was wonderfully cold. 6. The swimming pool and gym are also excellent. 7. Highly recommended as a choice, especially since as a resident of Gading Serpong, the hotel is within walking distance to Kopi Tuku, Gudeg Sagan, Tugu Jogja, and Malioboro. In short, this hotel is incredibly strategic, simply the best.

The hotel itself is quite nice, an old building with a charming, antique feel. It even has a gym and a swimming pool. However, the rooms are a bit mediocre. It takes half an hour to walk to the lively district, but there are plenty of food options nearby, and a supermarket across the street to buy water. There's a balcony, but it gets very noisy at night, so earplugs were provided. Breakfast is an additional 55 per person. Because it's hot in Jogja, I really wanted to shower from head to toe the moment I arrived at the hotel, but there was no hairdryer provided. I was afraid my hair wouldn't dry if I showered at night, and I wouldn't have time to dry it if I showered in the morning.

This is my third time staying at this hotel, if I'm not mistaken. It's close to the city center, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious! 😍😍😍
