Amazing
GGuest UserIt was our first ryokan experience and it was absolutely stunning. There are a few rooms in ryokan and we were the only guests for that night. The room was very spacious and had tiny cute details. Onsen and kaiseki dinner became absolute favorites. The dinner and breakfast were served in our room that added intimacy to the process. Everything was delicious.
The ryokan team was super friendly and ready to help with all the questions we had. As we were the only guests, we were allowed to use the onsen together as the private one โ wow!
It was truly authentic experience โ we would definitely recommend to visit this place.

MMoliaifenxiangI was really happy to book such a great value-for-money hotel! It's a shame the private onsen rooms were so popular and fully booked. We just took what we could get, and it felt like opening a mystery box. The sunroom was actually pretty good, accommodating up to four people with two single beds and two futon sets. We booked the 'one night, two meals' plan. We could reserve our dinner and breakfast times upon check-in and just show up on time to eat โ delicious and filling! ๐ The hotel also included two private onsen reservations. We went for a soak at 10 PM on the first night, and again at 10 AM after breakfast on the second day, which was perfect as check-out was at 11 AM. The hotel staff were excellent, warm, and polite. We even met the legendary driver who speaks Chinese, which felt a bit familiar and comforting ๐ The shuttle service starts at 3 PM in the afternoon, and if you want to go to the shopping street, the driver will even take you there. I genuinely recommend this hotel to everyone!

AAnonymous UserNot sure what has happened to Japan standard in the past couple of years but had called the hotel to confirm that linens are scent free (standard in Japan before) and was told yes. Unfortunately they are not, this new laundry detergent that is slowly spreading throughout Japan is absolutely horrible causing all sorts of allergic reactions (not only to me.) I start having rashes, compromised breathing, and inflammation issues. If itโs the same detergent used back in America, then it might be eco-friendly, but definitely not human friendly. I truly hope that Japan goes back to the way it was before the introduction of some western products filled with harmful chemicals to humans. It is not because you donโt react to it that it is not harming your body, itโs only a question of time and when it does, you wonโt know why and there is no turning back. Take it from an Asian American born who was the biggest fan of American marketed products. We do have good products like ECOLAB, which is both, sustainable for the environment without compromising human health. Maybe laundry company should look into that company or simply return to Japanese products before. Good thing thing their pyjama are still scent free so I had to wrap the bed and cover with their pyjama to get through the night.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is really convenient for exploring Kobe, with lots of small shops nearby and even a large supermarket next door. Even though Sannomiya Station is still under renovation, once you get your bearings, getting around isn't a big issue. It's also easy to get to Osaka, as there's a direct JR line to Umeda. Kobe is truly perfect for a city walk. I'd love to visit again sometime!
MM62133****The subway entrance nearby was closed, which made the transportation a bit inconvenient, and the room was a little small. However, the overall service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, and it was great value for money.
GGuest UserIn addition to free drinks, juice and coffee, red wine and white wine are provided every afternoon, allowing guests to soak in the hot spring bath to relax their body, mind and soul and enjoy a leisurely and carefree travel experience.

BBenedict KCPThe hotel is a little bit far away from Sannomiya. It takes at least 5-10 mins driving to there, so it probably takes 15 to 20 mins to walk there. As it is far from city, it is quiet, and the room is clean and large. Unfortunately, the parking spaces are limited and luckily I could find a parking space nearby. The service is good and the staff are very polite. It has welcome drinks offered. If you cannot find a hotel inside Kobe, this hotel would be another good choice to consider.
GGuest UserThis is a well-established local hotel that's remarkably well-maintained and spotlessly clean. They offer both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, both excellent choices. The spacious public bath on the 5th floor is very comfortable; as the hotel wasn't crowded during our stay, we practically had it to ourselves every day. Just under a kilometer behind the hotel, there's a cable car station providing direct access to Mount Rokko, which is incredibly convenient for sightseeing. In the evenings, a delightful summer festival was also held nearby.

AAnonymous UserLocation a bit far from Sannomiya station, it's on a uphill so quite hectic for travelers with large luggage. But there's a Matsuya and a few conbini around, and it's near to Ijinkan, so good overall.
