We had a wonderful 1 night stay a few months ago before tourism opened back up. Highly recommend this place for people who are into more private, chill time. Loved the concept of this ryokan because instead of shared baths there were numerous choices of private baths throughout the property! Each needed to be booked in advance for a 45 minute session. They had an online reservation system but I think it was only in Japanese (my husband's native language) so I can't comment on that. Our room was fantastic; modern and huge, but still had charm. I think we were in Suite 13 which had its own private bath which you could open up the huge windows to a nice tranquil view of greenery. I liked that the entry had a super long hallway which helped with any noise (so quiet!). Personal touches such as selecting a complimentary gift (small drawstring bag) and fruit tray was noticed and appreciated. They were also very helpful to find us a restaurant to eat dinner at on a Sunday night (since we opted to not have the course dinner) - it was a delightful local meal ran by a married couple! I wish I remembered the name but it was izakaya home cooking style and so delicious. The breakfast on property was AWESOME. I opted to get the Western Style and my husband the Japanese. Such presentation and variety and a perfect start to our day. We would definitely be back to visit this place. They made us feel very welcome and relaxed! Arigatou gozaimasu *bow*

My husband reserved bouquet and birthday cake. While it costs around 8,000yen in total, the hotel forget to deliver them to our room and even asked us to pick up from the lobby ourselves. It does not worth the money.

I was going to Kobe Illuminage, so I stayed here nearby. Parking is free because it is a suburb. The room is a little upgraded and super double. The room is very large and you can see the townscape in the direction of the Yuri no Kidai from the large window. When the window is small, there are many parts of the wall and there is a feeling of pressure, but when the window is large, the feeling of openness is outstanding. The sofa is large and there are four adults in the room. It was a plan with breakfast (Viking), but there was no particular thing that this was delicious and the content was normal. There are convenience stores, ion Mita Woody Town and restaurants around the hotel.

I went by car. The parking lot is opposite the multi-storey car park and the inn. It may be a little small if you go by large car. The parking lot on the day of stay can be parked after 10 am. I checked in at 15:00, but I arrived early because it was crowded the day before the Arima Onsen holiday. After taking a walk, I returned to the inn at 14:00. From there, I was allowed to wait for an hour at the front desk. 10 minutes ago, the male staff explained the facilities and emergency exits in the building while saying an extra word that it was a little early. If you are an inn like this, you will serve welcome tea and sweets and entertain you at first, but it may be a shortage of labor. The room had an open-air bath. I was satisfied with the massage chair, but unlike the image I saw in advance, the sheets were laid on the mattress. Did you miss the futon? It was so thin. For dinner, he offered beef and sashimi close to the edge, probably because he was conscious of profitability. The white rice is not sharpened well or it is scalded. The soup stock tastes like the second soup stock, probably because it was taken wrong. When I was sleeping early in the morning, I woke up with the loud sound of dropping the plate in preparation for breakfast. For breakfast, the squid sashimi was messed up, probably because I dropped the plate. He gave it to me without putting it in the envelope at check-out. Thank you very much. No word. I didn't help carry my luggage even though there were three people at the entrance. The family next door was helping me pretending to be unseeing. Older women have high customer service capabilities, and young women have the lowest customer service capabilities. I felt that tradition was obsolete in this way. Arima has other good inns. The inn that cannot be multiplied by hot springs, food and customer service is the worst. I was disappointed.

We used the hotel for our second wedding anniversary. The welcome service hand towel smells good and makes you feel relaxed immediately. All rooms have a luxurious rococo style with an ocean view. You can spend a blissful time while enjoying the scenery that is unique to Kobe, such as the Mosaic Ferris wheel and the Port Tower. We had dinner in the room to prevent infectious diseases. It was an impression that it was cold overall..Next time I would like to have it in the restaurant. After taking a jacuzzi bath with a view of the sea, we stayed up late relaxing on the terrace with the night breeze. When you get sleepy, you can snuggle up in the fluffy bed. Breakfast was very satisfying with lots of bread and fruit.

The elder brother who can speak Japanese, Chinese and English, the environment is also very good, but it is a pity that there is no outdoor hot spring in the garden, the food is very delicious, and the hot spring roll of gold/silver soup is also given away!

Thank you for visiting ARIMA VILLA KINOIE's page.
This inn is a 3-minute walk from Arima Onsen Station, a 1-minute walk from Taikobashi bus stop, and a 10-minute walk from Arima Onsen's public baths.
Our inn, which is located along the Arima River and uses plenty of cedar wood, is a luxurious space that is limited to one group per day.
Another appeal is the quiet location where you can hear the murmuring of the Arima River.
From Taikobashi, there are direct buses running to Sannomiya, Kobe Sanda Outlet Mall, and Takarazuka.
There are also direct buses from Arima Onsen to Osaka (about 1 hour), Kobe (about 35 minutes), and Kyoto (about 1 hour and 15 minutes).
Long-term stayers are welcome!

Outstanding
KKI-NRTArima Onsen town is a stone's throw away from both Osaka and Kobe, which is likely one reason that hotels and ryokans can charge such high rates there. Being at the upper end of the pricing echelon, Arimasansoh Goshobessho's room rates can't be considered good value. Still, we decided to spend a two-night getaway there in spite of that. Sticker shock notwithstanding, we feel that Arimasansoh can be considered among the nicer small properties that Japan has to offer. Arimasansoh is nestled at the end of a long strip of hotels in the Arima Onsen town - it's really quaint, but still within walking distance to the main tourist areas. The property is charming, and the buildings and villas blend in nicely to the calming environment that is full of trees, ponds and other pretty vegetation. Stepping into the grounds for the first time will instantly reduce your blood pressure - it's that soothing of a place. Service is refined, if a bit formal; we could tell they've all been comprehensively trained in Japanese hospitality. Given the clientele that stays there, being discreet and unobtrusive is probably appropriate. The sprawling hotel grounds are divided into two distinct sections. On the lower hillside along the banks of a river are the two-storey Maisonette rooms. We weren't able to tour this room type, but at first glance they seemed quite close together - sort of townhouse style. Further up the hill (near the reception area and the public onsen baths) are the one-storey Villa Suites, which is the room type that we stayed at. Our room was absolutely gigantic, and felt more spacious than the published size (for what it's worth, both the Maisonette and Villa Suites are listed as 100m².) There's an enormous living room as well as a large bedroom, along with a small balcony with views across the ravine. The Villas also have a bathroom the size of many hotel rooms. It comes complete with dual vanities, a sauna as well as a private Onsen (hot springs) bath. Further adding to the sense of massive space is the extremely high vaulted ceilings. Aesthetically speaking, the dark wood and dark brown furnishings were a bit on the dark side (for our tastes); the lighting was barely sufficient to prevent the room from exhibiting a gloomy feel - but just barely. The Onsen bath is nice; however, it's not of the free-flowing variety... it's empty and you fill the tub with the Onsen water by turning on the bath tap, just as you would a regular bath. It wouldn't be a problem but for the fact that the water trickles out at a glacial pace. We literally had to let the water run for over 30 minutes before the tub was filled up halfway. Arimasansoh also offers a communal Onsen bath area, one each for women and men. As was the case with the Onsen in the Villa, the water is unique in that it's brackish brown in color. And, you can really smell the sulfur. Arima Onsen is renowned for the (alleged) healing powers of its mineral hot springs; whether you believe it or

Ggmsl2018It would take a whole page of details to describe how nice this place is in 2020. I stayed there three times, each time in different rooms, each time perfect. It is just NICE. Location is perfect, quiet yet one stop from Kobe, the neighborhood is romantic like Greenwich Village or Montmartre or a nice place in San Francisco. The little house is very cute, very homey, with a large common space. The staff are incredible. Just rush to stay there before the team get old and change business. For the time being, they are super super master of genuine hospitality. They made me understand what is the pinnacle of a ”guesthouse Japanese style”. There is an elevated railway line running just on the other side of the street. It is not a problem because during the night, there are no trains. I fully recommend this place. Georges from Switzerland.
CChenSuperb housing location, check-in and check-out service is great, house hygiene is generally OK, but some places are a bit yellow, basically no facilities at all, but 100 points of location can accept everything

GGuest UserThe husband fell ill on the second night, but he was saved by asking me to bring breakfast to the room. When my husband was resting in the room, I was out so that I wouldn't disturb him, but I used it because there was a sofa and reading space in the hotel. It was very good. I want to ask you again.
UuberminI was not expecting my room to be so big with a kitchenette. They give you an onsen coupon which you can use for either Kin no Yu or Gin no Yu. The hotel is about a 3 second walk from Gin no Yu. I had a nice window with a view of houses & hills nearby. You can also sit & eat out on the balcony. The mattress was not high quality but it was okay for one night. As other reviewers mentioned it is a slight uphill walk to get here, not what I would call strenuous unless you have some lung disease.

EEmeraldIsle1703We had booked a private double room and I was amazed at the size of it. I was happy that it was Japanese style. Very comfortable bed, table in case you want to have a picnic in the room from Seven Eleven :) and bathroom facilities very clean. Also you have a free drink included with your stay - alcoholic or non alcoholic (we have not used ours though). The common parts of the hostel are so dark that it can give an impression it is not so clean, but to be honest I have not really checked. It is a little hidden and might be difficult to find.
愛愛藍It was located right after getting off the highway.
The bathroom was separate from the toilet, and the bathtub was large and equipped with an LCD screen. It was very clean. There was also a wide selection of amenities.
There was a TV with a variety of channels, and there was also an old-fashioned game console and karaoke machine.
As it is an old hotel, it was a little dirty, but the bathroom and beds were kept clean.
GGuest UserIt was good to have all-you-can-drink meal plan and all-you-can-eat crab. Unsatisfactory if it is only a buffet. Costa coffee was delicious. There are many small children. The room is large and comfortable on the 4 floor. It is rare that there was no bottle of drinking water and there was no hair cap in the room or bathroom. (So there is no cleansing, pigment wash, or lotion) The hot spring is only an open-air bath. The color of the hot water is brown brown, which seems to be iron-rich. There are two types of indoor baths: enzyme baths, sleeping baths and saunas. There are many people taking a day trip bath. There is a color 々 such as amusement parks for free admission on the large site, so you can spend a relaxing time. There were flowers, vegetables and ripe strawberries, which was delicious. It was said that the cherry blossoms would be sold out if they could not go early.
