4-Star Hotels in Changchun

My family ended up originally booking for one night but added two more nights. The non smoking room was nice smelling, clean and bed was comfy. The location was suitable as we had personal business to do in the area but near motian mall where kids can play at Meland and lots of restaurants around. I was impressed with the service at the hotel to do our laundry, with check out times and overall information. I also think you can check out at 6 pm which is super convenient. The breakfast was good. The chinese side of the family enjoyed it, and as a westerner I found it suitable to have eggs, toast, and coffee. The coffee is an automatic expresso machine and NOT packets which was wonderful and tasted normal for western standards. We stayed during the week and really found the hotel to be quiet and could sleep well. The gym is good as well with enough equipment for a suitable workout. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and would stay here again. If I did have one minor complaint, It may have been one day when we were checking in two men started smoking in the lobby right by a non smoking sign which caused my daughter and I to leave the lobby for a few minutes so it would be nice if the hotel front desk enforced that especially with the signs up. Saying that, Changchun is a place where people tend to not abide by smoking signs but still be nice to have the staff politely address that.

The hotel room was spacious, and both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. During my stay, there was a promotion where I got a free pillow. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, and the WeChat customer service was always quick to respond. The laundry room had 5 washer-dryer machines, and the staff even folded my clothes and delivered them to my room, which was super convenient. A big thanks to the guy who helped me carry a bunch of packages upstairs on the evening of February 14th. I really hope the prices don't go up in the future. I definitely don't want to go to the one on Hongqi Street! 😂

The hotel environment is clean and elegant, with a simple yet grand design that makes guests feel incredibly comfortable. The gym is spacious, and the laundry room's drying function is very practical. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options in the surrounding mall. Breakfast is fresh, delicious, and offers a huge variety. Underground parking is convenient and fast. The front desk staff are friendly, provide service with a smile throughout, and patiently answer all questions. Five-star rating!

Very satisfied. It was clean, and both the room and bathroom were spacious. The bed was comfortable. They should really update the picture of the family room on the homepage – the real green is much prettier than in the photos! It might be a bit far from the subway station, but we took taxis everywhere, so it wasn't an issue. We even left a pair of shoes we bought for the trip at the hotel before heading home, and they called to ask about them. Once they knew we didn't want them, they helped us dispose of them. Great service!

The hotel lobby is quite clean, consistent with the Hampton by Hilton style. The room is well-equipped with facilities, including a mini-fridge. The breakfast offers a good variety, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties. The restaurant is quite spacious; it didn't feel crowded when we went for breakfast at 7:30 AM. We had a small incident during our stay: We checked in a little after 2:30 PM and went out to explore without going into the room first. When we returned around 9 PM, we found the room to be quite spacious. However, it didn't feel warm when we first entered, and actually got colder the longer we stayed. I turned on the AC for heat and saw the room temperature was 14 degrees Celsius, but the air blowing out didn't feel warm. Then I noticed the curtains kept moving, and realized someone had kindly opened the window for ventilation and left it open until evening. The front desk was quick to resolve the issue. They first sent a space heater, but it didn't really warm up the room. I wasn't satisfied, so I checked the AC again; it only went up 2 degrees in half an hour, so the heating was very slow. Eventually, the front desk moved us to a different room. Although it wasn't as large as the first one, being warm was the most important thing.

I booked this hotel because of its excellent location and long history, as older hotels usually offer great service and hygiene. It's located at the South Square of Changchun Station, with direct access via an underground passage. The hotel has a rich history, and the interior decor and furnishings show the care taken during its original construction, giving it a strong vintage character. I booked a standard room, which was very spacious and clean, and came with complimentary snacks. However, there were two very unsatisfactory aspects. First, the daytime front desk staff on the day of check-in was extremely unfamiliar with the procedures. It took a long time for her to explain the room details during check-in. At the same time, another guest came down to check out, and she went to assist them, leaving us waiting. Eventually, a manager seemed to step in and resolve the issue. The night shift front desk staff, on the other hand, handled things very efficiently, quickly verifying IDs and fulfilling requests – that was satisfactory. The other issue was the sound insulation. After we had been sleeping for a while, we were suddenly woken up by extremely loud noise. It sounded like someone in the next room was blow-drying their hair, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it felt like it was happening right next to my ear. We could also hear people talking clearly. It was just ridiculous. I can understand if soundproofing isn't perfect, but this level of poor insulation is something I've never experienced before. I hope they provide more training for new staff.

The hotel's location is great, right near People's Square! I've stayed with this brand multiple times now and I've always been completely satisfied! I bought breakfast separately for 35 yuan. While the selection isn't huge, the food is delicious. You absolutely have to try the coffee – it's so fragrant!

The first impression when you walk into the lobby is that it is grand and luxurious. When checking in, the front desk lady Mei Nan came out from the backstage and reminded me with a sweet and warm smile, ”Sir, I have upgraded you to an executive room for free.” I felt extremely warm and respected. Walking into the corridor of the room, I saw many famous paintings of flowers and birds, which made me feel very elegant. Because the room has good privacy, I did not close the curtains before going to bed at night. When the sun rose at 6 o'clock in the morning, I woke up naturally and saw the sunlight falling in the hall, which touched me very much. It was my first time to Changchun. It was the team spirit of Guosheng Metroview that made everything go smoothly for me! Next time I come to Changchun, I will definitely go to Guosheng Metroview first and feel their team's service enthusiasm again, especially the shallow and sincere smile of Wang Mei Nan when she receives guests😊

The staff were overall very polite and hospitable during our stay. For instance, they helped fixed our room’s defective thermostat and promptly delivered us additional toiletries to our room by request. The breakfast area had a large selection of foods to choose from, allowing guests to customize their own plates to their liking. There was also a professional chef present to cook up additional dishes, such as fried eggs and noodles - both of which were excellently made. The room we were given, however, did not have a good ventilation system as there were multiple instances where the smell of cigarettes flooded into our room. Consequently, this forced us to open our window to air out the room. Our bathroom door also could not lock - let alone close at all. We hope that only our room was affected. With all said, our overall experience at this hotel was pleasant and we would recommend anyone visiting Changchun to come stay at this hotel.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was spacious and well-ventilated. The front desk staff were polite and communicative. The breakfast was plentiful, and I loved that a robot delivered my takeout directly to the room! The housekeeping staff were attentive and proactive in asking if I needed anything. The hotel's location is excellent. I accidentally left a charger when I checked out, but when I called, they found it within minutes and immediately arranged for it to be mailed back to me. It arrived the very next day! I'm truly grateful for their excellent service.
