Upon arrival, the reception staff greeted me warmly and check-in was smooth and efficient. The hotel's lobby exuded a modern and clean atmosphere, which was quite welcoming. Furthermore, the hotel's security measures were commendable, ensuring a safe environment for all guests.
My room at Hanting Hotel was cozy and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. However, I did notice that the room lacked proper sound insulation, as I could hear noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. This impacted my sleep quality slightly.
The cleanliness of the room was generally satisfactory, although there were a few areas that could have been better maintained. The bathroom, while functional, could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall experience.
In terms of amenities, Hanting Hotel provided basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, which was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. However, I found the lack of a mini-fridge or a coffee/tea maker in the room to be a drawback, as it limited my convenience and comfort.

MMark NMy family ended up originally booking for one night but added two more nights. The non smoking room was nice smelling, clean and bed was comfy. The location was suitable as we had personal business to do in the area but near motian mall where kids can play at Meland and lots of restaurants around. I was impressed with the service at the hotel to do our laundry, with check out times and overall information. I also think you can check out at 6 pm which is super convenient. The breakfast was good. The chinese side of the family enjoyed it, and as a westerner I found it suitable to have eggs, toast, and coffee. The coffee is an automatic expresso machine and NOT packets which was wonderful and tasted normal for western standards. We stayed during the week and really found the hotel to be quiet and could sleep well. The gym is good as well with enough equipment for a suitable workout. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and would stay here again. If I did have one minor complaint, It may have been one day when we were checking in two men started smoking in the lobby right by a non smoking sign which caused my daughter and I to leave the lobby for a few minutes so it would be nice if the hotel front desk enforced that especially with the signs up. Saying that, Changchun is a place where people tend to not abide by smoking signs but still be nice to have the staff politely address that.

MM8821****I managed to get tickets for the Changchun Airshow, so I booked a hotel on Ctrip. To my surprise, I found out that IHG had just opened a new InterContinental Hotel in Changchun this year – the InterContinental Changchun Gaoxin. I immediately placed an order, but it was fully booked on the 18th and 19th. To stay at an InterContinental, I decided to extend my trip by a day.
My stay was incredibly comfortable. The decor is a new Chinese-style light luxury and minimalist design, and the cleanliness definitely met five-star standards. The highlight of the facilities was the Kohler smart sensor toilet – no need to lift the lid yourself!
Finally, let's talk about the service. Every staff member I interacted with greeted me with a smile and was eager to help. I especially want to commend Lobby Manager Wang Xue; her service was truly a 'five-star benchmark.' When she learned that we had specifically adjusted our airshow schedule to stay at the hotel, she not only proactively helped us confirm the transportation routes to the airshow venue but also thoughtfully prepared portable bottled water and a sunscreen reminder card.
This stay truly made me feel that 'InterContinental quality' isn't just about luxurious hardware; it's also about the warmth hidden within their service. Even having to wait an extra day to stay here was completely worth it. The next time I come to Changchun, this hotel will definitely be my first choice!

The subway is convenient, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The breakfast is especially good. A big thank you to the front desk manager for taking such good care of my daughter.

- About 10 mins walk to “The Hill”/“Wanda Shopping Mall” and Tram 54
Cons:
- Not easy to find the exact location in Didi App as it’s very new and there are a few hotels of the same name around the area
- Was told that they have disabled the aircond (Cold air) during winter and it will only blow warm air. With that, we were advised to turn off the aircond and we slept sweating as the temperature was not low enough for a great night sleep
- To maximize space, there wasn’t any proper hanging (wardrobe) area that we can use to hang our winter jackets
Overall (Summary)
- Great hotel for its location and with much local delights around. Service was great with great selection of breakfast. High floor view of city. Just too bad there wasn’t any cooling aircond we could use as the window was tight shut. Great room size for family which is a plus point. Happy to come back again perhaps in the summer next time. MM369562****I've been here many times before; it's very close to the school. I wasn't in Changchun recently, and as soon as I got back, I came to Chaoman Hotel. The price is reasonable and the location is great. This time, after booking a room, they upgraded me to a suite. It was my first time staying in this type of room, and the space was very large, and the bedding was very clean. Chaoman Hotel is really spoiling me, haha.
However, I have a suggestion: there are only two bottles of water in the room, placed in the living room. It's not enough, and I have to go out to get more. I suggest that the suite have two more bottles in the bedroom.

3. The staff ( a tall guy ) who welcome us is very friendly and help us to carry our bag. We also ask him about our trip destination and direction. Overall the staff we meet during our stay is good and willing to ask us. They will attend very fast once we call them.

ZZhenglibinxiansheng″The hotel environment is fantastic, but I visited at the wrong time. If it were summer, with everything green, this little courtyard would be amazing. The room isn't huge, but it's well-designed and fully equipped. Since I was there for business, I didn't have time to check out the gym or the pool. Oh, and they also have hot springs, which I unfortunately didn't get to experience. It's really suitable for couples or families with kids. Overall, I'd give it an 8 out of 10. The points deducted are for the breakfast; the variety and quality weren't great, possibly due to it being the off-peak season.

MM42660****The shower in the room had to stand on top of the bathtub, which was a bit inconvenient. Other hotels we stayed in for the next two days also had this design. The bathroom door did not close tightly. I would like to remind everyone to check whether breakfast is included when booking a room. We booked two rooms for two nights, and only It included breakfast for one day, I guess it was exchanged for Ctrip points. I was told that there was no breakfast the next day, but the surrounding area was not very prosperous and there was no breakfast shop nearby, so I added 68 yuan per person. There were not many types of breakfast. I had to find napkins. The service staff will only give it to you if you ask for it. It is not worth the price. I stayed in a state-owned hotel in People's Square for the next two days. Breakfast was all-inclusive and the dishes were rich. The price with breakfast was 48 yuan per person. I hope you can do some research. There is no window screen. I don't know if this is true in high-end areas. The air conditioner is good and quiet. The panel is still old-fashioned. Everything else is fine.
