This hotel in Wuhan has definitely made it onto my 're-book' list. The service and attention to detail truly exceeded my expectations. The check-in experience at the front desk was fantastic. The intern, a young woman, was both professional and genuinely kind, without being overly enthusiastic to the point of being intrusive. She proactively offered tips on local eateries and transportation, and was very efficient; I was checked in within minutes, without any unnecessary delays or questions. This initial impression was a huge plus. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm – making for a very comfortable sleep. They provided plenty of amenities, including complimentary beer and drinks. The soundproofing was also excellent; I barely heard any noise from the hallway, which is great for light sleepers. Essential facilities like the fridge and kettle in the room were all brand new and very convenient for daily use. Often, the true measure of a hotel lies in these small details. Delivering standardized service with a personal touch is what truly sets a place apart. The hotel's location is also very convenient, making dining out and getting taxis hassle-free, and it offers great value for money. This time around, I was too busy with other things to properly explore Wuhan, but I still had the most thoughtful encounter. I'll save 'Zhiyinhao,' Yellow Crane Tower, Liangdao Street, Jianghan Road, Bagong House, the breeze from the Yangtze River Bridge, Optics Valley Pedestrian Street, and cycling in East Lake Park for next time. From now on, this will be my go-to hotel. What surprised me most was how reliably they handled my lost item. I was in a rush on check-out day and left in a hurry, initially worried about the hassle of retrieving it. But the front desk had already securely kept it for me. The registration process was also very standardized, and they even kept me updated on the status. I didn't have to worry about a thing throughout the whole process; it felt like having a dedicated personal assistant taking care of everything.

During my stay, I especially want to thank Danna, a hotel staff member, for her thoughtful service and professional demeanor. From check-in to check-out, she was consistently patient, meticulous, warm, and attentive. She promptly responded to inquiries and needs, handling them appropriately. She was diligent, responsible, and communicated with politeness and grace. She not only focused on service efficiency but also fully considered guests' feelings and privacy, making us feel incredibly secure and comfortable. The entire stay was made even smoother and more enjoyable by her dedicated service. Her professionalism and service awareness were truly outstanding. She was a wonderfully comforting presence that significantly enhanced this trip. Highly recommended, and I look forward to seeing her again next time.

You truly appreciate the charm of this century-old villa only after staying there – highly recommended! I came specifically for the ”historic building” aspect, and it genuinely exceeded my expectations! This old villa, built in 1915 and converted into a hotel, perfectly blends its historical features like red brick walls and a spiral staircase with modern interior design and amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. The location is unbeatable too: right in the heart of old Hankou, with Li Huangpi Road, the Bund, and Jianghan Road all within walking distance.

I had a very satisfying stay this time. The hotel's location is convenient for both getting around and dining. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk service was warm and attentive, check-in was efficient and quick, and all my requests were promptly addressed. The common areas were elegant and well-equipped. Overall, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, and I truly recommend it to everyone!

Amazing stay at Somerset VFC Wuhan. We extended our stay from 2 nights to 6 nights as this is our most favourite hotel of the world! Wuhan weather is sunny and nice. And the stay at the 2 bedroom apartment is incredible. We have a washer dryer, a kitchen with dishwasher, and a cozy living room just like home. From the hotel you can walk to Wuhan Zoo, or take subway to many beautiful places. The food in the mall attached to the hotel is incredible (strongly Recommended 来菜 which serve Hubei food). Hotel staff is nice and genuine. The breakfast is adequate with several Wuhan specialties as well. I would definitely go back to Wuhan just for this incredible hotel experience.

The room was clean, bright, and offered a wide view, giving it a very spacious and upscale feel. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. They provided thoughtful items that aren't usually needed but come in handy for temporary situations, such as nail clippers and a wheelchair—such attention to detail! The shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable to use, and the toiletries were top-notch. The towels were extremely absorbent and brand new. The room was free of any strange odors. All in all, it offered fantastic value for money and added a wonderful touch to our National Day holiday trip.

I had an incredibly wonderful and comfortable stay experience at Crystal Hotel Streetkou, and I must give my highest praise to the staff member Xiaodi. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I felt unprecedented warmth and thoughtfulness. The whole check-in process was smooth, efficient, and extremely pleasant, thanks to Xiaodi’s professional and patient service. She greeted me with a sincere and friendly smile, carefully confirmed my accommodation needs, and patiently introduced the hotel’s facilities, surrounding environment, and convenient travel routes. Her gentle attitude and attentive details instantly made me feel relaxed and at home, eliminating all the tiredness from my journey.What impressed me the most is Xiaodi’s meticulous and responsible working attitude. She is always considerate and can take the initiative to notice the needs of guests. Whether I asked about room facilities, dining recommendations, or travel questions nearby, she always responded quickly and answered every question carefully and professionally without any perfunctory. During my stay, every encounter with her was warm and reassuring. Her service is not only standardized and professional but also full of humanity and warmth, which makes the whole hotel stay full of happiness.The overall environment of the hotel is also very good. The hotel is in a prime location—just a short walk toward the river from the Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street metro station, and only minutes away on foot from the Jianghan Customs Wharf, where you can take the ferry across to see the Yellow Crane Tower. The night views are top-notch. The service was also exceptional. The first room we were assigned was a bit noisy, but the front desk kindly switched us to a much quieter interior-facing room—a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. Complimentary afternoon tea was provided every day, and upon check-out, they even gifted us some local Aizi meat pies and coffee from the downstairs café. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

When traveling with family, it's essential to stay in a hotel that's in the city center and near a subway station, and this Echeng Hotel fits the bill perfectly. It's incredibly convenient for getting to East Lake, Yellow Crane Tower, Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, Hubei Provincial Museum, and even Wuhan Railway Station and the airport. The room layout is essentially like two rooms, with the bathroom completely separate from the bed, so there's no light disturbance. The only issue was the central air conditioning vent blowing directly onto the bed, which made for a poor night's sleep initially. However, after speaking with the front desk, a technician quickly came with a small stool and installed a baffle at the vent, and the problem was immediately resolved. All in all, this hotel is perfect. Staying in a bustling area can be summed up in one word: ”convenient”!

Location: There's a lot to do in the area and a ton of convenience stores, restaurants, shops, etc. Baotong temple, Dream Plaza mall, and the subway station are all approx a 10 minute walk away. It's also easy to hail a Didi in front of the hotel. During our stay, the outer facade seems to be under construction, so it could appear confusing re: how to enter the hotel, but there are signs pointing you towards the detour, and you can always ask the guards on duty for directions. Lobby is on the 2nd floor. Cleanliness: This hotel is very new, so the rooms feel pristine. Really appreciated having a bidet toilet. Slippers are excellent quality. Housekeeping replaces towels and amenities daily. Service: Everyone working here was polite and eager to help, from front desk to breakfast staff to housekeeping. Facilities: The breakfast buffet is solid, complete with a noodle bar, traditional Chinese breakfast offerings and some Western options as well, plus a coffee machine that made a pretty decent espresso. It is, however, a bit pricier than other hotels we've stayed at...around 68 RMB per person per day. The laundry room was a bit challenging for us as well. You have to scan a QR code in order for the machines to work, and the QR code leads to an app that requires a Chinese phone number. The staff was kind enough to help us by using their own phones for the machines, but this means you can't really do laundry on your own if you're an international guest.
