The room was spacious and met all our basic needs. The executive lounge offered great views, and the light meals there were perfectly adequate. Breakfast was really good and varied, and the pool and gym facilities were excellent with convenient operating hours. My only minor complaint was finding a used tissue in the toilet when I first entered the room. Overall, I'd still recommend it.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! My last stay at a Ritz-Carlton was years ago at the Pudong location, and I understand this Wuhan branch is currently the newest Ritz-Carlton in China. We headed straight here after getting off the high-speed train and arrived in just half an hour. Since check-in is on the 46th floor, the concierge in the ground-floor lobby took our luggage, allowing us to go upstairs hands-free. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, and every staff member we encountered was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Our room, over 50 square meters, felt spacious enough for our family of three. The hardware and amenities are, as expected, top-notch – the Ritz-Carlton has been a leader in Chinese luxury hotels for a long time. What truly stands out is how perfectly everything is executed. My wife particularly loved the Diptyque Fig scented toiletries, and as a soap enthusiast, I was quite taken with the small bar soaps. Our stay was for three nights and four days. Breakfast was served in the Western restaurant on the 46th floor. The restaurant boasts high ceilings and offers a stunning 180-degree view of Wuhan city, with window seats providing a distant view of the Yangtze River. The food selection was incredibly rich and exquisite; I especially enjoyed the unlimited Spanish ham – good thing we only stayed three days, or I'd have gained a ton of weight! In the evenings, my daughter enjoyed the rooftop pool. The tranquil atmosphere made even just sitting on a lounge chair by this 'cloud-top' pool an extraordinary experience. This short holiday was made truly special by the Ritz-Carlton. It certainly lives up to its reputation as the city's premier luxury hotel. On our last day, after check-out, a staff member thoughtfully gave me our room card as a small souvenir. This, along with the little lobster lion plushie my daughter received, will be important mementos of our trip to Wuhan. I hope to stay here again. A huge thank you to every staff member here – you truly embody the 'Ladies and Gentlemen' of the Ritz-Carlton!

The hotel facilities are excellent, and the surrounding amenities are comprehensive. The location is very convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's a 5-15 minute walk to Zhongjian Optics Valley Heart Commercial Street and Innovation World. A short taxi ride (minimum fare) will get you to Joy City. You can also walk to the Science and Technology Museum and the Architecture Museum. Next to Joy City, you can experience the popular '网红空轨' (internet-famous elevated monorail), and I heard an art gallery will open there later. The hotel offers free parking. The room is spacious, and even after 6 years, it's still well-maintained. It comes with a JBL Bluetooth speaker, a large floor-to-ceiling window almost spanning an entire wall, an imported bathtub, a separate wet and dry bathroom, and very comfortable bedding. The staff provided warm service, especially Kiki from the service center. When I mentioned I forgot my charger, she responded very quickly, helped me find one, and even thoughtfully arranged for it to be mailed to me. I will definitely return if I have the chance.

The place is good for family outing. I love the room that I booked. It was really infront of the lake and the vibe is reallt cool. We had fun kayaking and a bit of hiking. We Morning and night swimming was great too although it was not a heated pool and not that clean. They also have water golf but we were not able to experience it cause it's under renovation. Staff was very helpful and very friendly. We tried their barbeque on dinner time and it was actually good. Over all, we had a memorable stay in this place.

The river view room offers an unbeatable view of the river, with the Yellow Crane Tower visible across the water. The hotel was fully booked on the day we checked in, but the hotel butler was incredibly thoughtful and reserved a high-floor river view room for us. The bathroom vanity is a bit small, and some of the facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is excellent. The biggest surprise was the night market and the 'liangxia' (a local dessert) shop not far from the hotel entrance.

This is for our second night, and I wanted to add a few more details: 1. When the housekeeping staff cleaned our room, they noticed we used the table for drinks on the first night and replenished a box of tissues on the table, which wasn't there originally. 2. The housekeeper helped my girlfriend find her lost hairpin, even though we hadn't mentioned it beforehand. It's clear they clean very thoroughly, and they even folded our messy clothes. The housekeeper really deserves a commendation! 3. The turndown service was also good, and it's a nice touch that the hotel provides steam eye masks. 4. One point I missed in my last review that I'm adding here: I'm really curious why a hotel that opened in December 2019 is still using towels all manufactured in June 2019, with no replacements whatsoever. Personally, I don't think even my own towels would last seven years, let alone those used by rotating guests... There are quite a few things to complain about, but it's still pretty good value for money, and the afternoon tea is very photogenic. However, the hotel seems to put a lot of effort into the public areas, and the guest rooms really need more attention.

Location: Unbeatable river view room with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a view of Central China's tallest building across the river. The location is excellent, right on the waterfront with a prime river view. At night, you can lie in bed and watch the Yangtze River light show. Hankou Beach and Lihuangpo Road are right outside, and Jianghan Road is a convenient walk away. Cleanliness: The room was clean and spacious, and the bedding was soft. Service: The front desk service was attentive. This place offers incredible value for money; I'll definitely stay here again next time!

I stopped over in Wuhan for a night and the accommodation exceeded my expectations. We checked in smoothly with our pet, and there were no additional charges. The hotel did a great job assigning our room, and the soundproofing was excellent. It was the first time my dog slept so soundly outside of our home; she didn't spend the whole night on guard. We kept our dog in a stroller in the public areas. While the hotel is pet-friendly in that it allows pets, there's still room for improvement. For example, the pet bed provided isn't very useful, as most pet owners know that pets won't readily sleep in an unfamiliar bed with unfamiliar scents. Perhaps a pet playpen would be better. Providing pet pads, diapers, and even pheromone sprays for anxiety or flea/tick sprays would truly make it feel pet-friendly. Nevertheless, I'm happy to see that brand-name hotels are gradually opening up to and improving their pet policies, and I believe things will only get better in the future. Aside from the pet aspect being quite satisfactory, I really need to complain about the hotel breakfast. I arrived at the restaurant around 9:45 AM, knowing the hotel was full and breakfast would be crowded, so I specifically tried to avoid peak hours. When I got to the entrance, both the hostess and manager were looking down, and there was no one to seat us. All the trays were empty, and people were scrambling to find plates. I didn't see any service staff in the dining area; it was the head chef who brought out the plates. The food was cleared very quickly by 9:55 AM. I asked an employee who was clearing the food for a main serving spoon to eat my cereal, and she told me they only had ceramic spoons, and that the stainless steel ones were only for the serving counter. The Americano coffee machine at the coffee bar only filled cups about 60% of the way. The restaurant manager really needs to contact the supplier to adjust the machine. What I also can't understand is why the omelet station, which is a key QA check for the Marriott brand, has been changed. There are no more omelets, and although they made sunny-side up eggs, I'm still a bit confused. I've never stayed at a Sheraton before, so perhaps the standards are different? On a positive note, I want to praise the chef at the noodle station. She was incredibly enthusiastic, and the beef noodles were delicious. Even though it was close to closing time, she maintained her warmth and enthusiasm, which was really lovely. However, there's a small detail: the chopsticks provided for eating noodles aren't ideal for picking up the noodles. I observed that most guests were business travelers, and it's very easy for soup to splash onto their clothes. Because of this, I didn't finish my delicious beef noodles.

The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable. It's situated right on Yanjiang Avenue, directly across from a huge riverside park. You can step downstairs and immediately enjoy views of the Yangtze River, cherry blossoms, and the night cruise boats – no need to go anywhere else. Right next to the hotel are the Soong Ching Ling Former Residence and the Wuhan Municipal Government building. Behind it is the Wuhan Women's Federation, and the famous Bagong House is a short walk away. It's quite luxurious and grand. The hotel's swimming pool and amenities are all excellent and fully equipped. However, I generally wouldn't recommend the hotel breakfast. There isn't much to choose from; it's probably the worst breakfast I've had at a five-star hotel. If you have the option, definitely stay in an executive suite. You can enjoy river views right from your bed, and the toiletries are all brand-name products. For food delivery, you'll need to go downstairs to pick it up yourself. The hotel can deliver it to your room, but it's slow.
