Wuhan Hotels with Pools

The hotel facilities are excellent, and the surrounding amenities are comprehensive. The location is very convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's a 5-15 minute walk to Zhongjian Optics Valley Heart Commercial Street and Innovation World. A short taxi ride (minimum fare) will get you to Joy City. You can also walk to the Science and Technology Museum and the Architecture Museum. Next to Joy City, you can experience the popular '网红空轨' (internet-famous elevated monorail), and I heard an art gallery will open there later. The hotel offers free parking. The room is spacious, and even after 6 years, it's still well-maintained. It comes with a JBL Bluetooth speaker, a large floor-to-ceiling window almost spanning an entire wall, an imported bathtub, a separate wet and dry bathroom, and very comfortable bedding. The staff provided warm service, especially Kiki from the service center. When I mentioned I forgot my charger, she responded very quickly, helped me find one, and even thoughtfully arranged for it to be mailed to me. I will definitely return if I have the chance.

This veteran five-star hotel's management is on par with, if not superior to, some of the big-name brands. The facilities are standardized and well-maintained. I particularly appreciate the rooms with hardwood floors – no musty smells, and no overpowering air fresheners like in some other hotels. It felt naturally fresh, which is a huge plus. The front desk staff was efficient and specifically provided a quiet room as requested. The room featured an extra-large bed of top-notch quality. The bathroom layout was well-designed, and the bath and floor towels were neatly arranged for an evening shower. The service staff were polite and incredibly attentive. Breakfast was lavish, and the restaurant offered traditional Wuhan breakfast items, all of which tasted excellent. Be aware that rooms in different sections require using specific elevators, so make sure not to take the wrong one. All elevators and elevator lobbies were clean, tidy, and brightly lit. In short, everything upheld the expected standard of a long-established hotel. Excellent! Minibar: Didn't use it, but the hotel should proactively inform guests about it. Facilities: Very standard. Hygiene: First-rate. Environment: Both internal and external are good. If it weren't for the rain, I could have walked to East Lake. Service: Standardized and warm.

My husband and I checked into the hotel on the 17th. That evening, while swimming, my husband accidentally left his wedding ring in the hotel's pool locker. 😭 We didn't realize it was missing until a full day later, after we'd already checked out. We were both flustered, and he couldn't remember where he'd put it. At first, we thought it might be in the guest room and called the hotel, but they said it wasn't there. After replaying our steps, we figured it might be in the pool locker. We contacted the hotel again, but by then, it was too late and the pool was closed. The front desk said they would help us look for it the next day. Knowing the sentimental value of the wedding ring far outweighed its monetary worth, we were prepared for the possibility that it might not be found. Early the next morning, we contacted the hotel staff, Sunny and Bernice, again. To our immense relief, the ring was found, perfectly intact! 🥰 There are no cameras inside the pool changing rooms, and quite some time had passed, so getting it back truly felt like a miracle ✨. We checked in again today, and it was perfect timing to retrieve the ring 💍. When we went for a swim, we learned that Huang Xin was the one who found it. We are so incredibly grateful for his honesty. It's Qixi Festival today, and getting our lost ring back has made us so happy! 🥳 Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the hotel team for their meticulous, professional, and responsible service. A special thanks to the hotel pool staff for helping us preserve this important memento ❤️.

This hotel is excellent in every aspect. I booked a Deluxe River View King Room and was upgraded to an Executive King Room for free. The view was absolutely stunning. The dinner selection on the executive floor wasn't vast, but the quality was high. My dad stayed at this hotel during the pandemic, so I specially brought my child here to experience it. Holly, our butler, provided fantastic service!

Stunning cabin, breathtaking lake views – the environment is absolutely top-notch! It’s definitely an ideal place for a relaxing getaway. However, I do have a few suggestions: 1. The cabin had a very strong woody smell, which was a bit pungent when trying to sleep at night. I wonder if there's any formaldehyde, and I'm glad I didn't bring my child this time. 2. The public restrooms were absolutely filthy. There was an unidentified liquid on the floor and even cockroaches. It was dirty at midday and still dirty at night. After I spoke to the owner, it was cleaned immediately. 3. We ordered a BBQ set meal, and my wife's favorite lamb chops, which were supposed to be included, weren't served. When I asked the owner, he said they were out of lamb chops and had quietly replaced them with pork and chicken wings, without any prior communication. It felt a bit disrespectful, but the owner did offer complimentary steaks later, which was nice! 4. There were no welcome fruits or welcome coffee upon check-in. Sigh, I had come with the expectation of experiencing a high-end B&B, but... However, the owner was very generous and gave us two Americanos! 5. My biggest complaint has to be the lack of a washing machine. In the middle of summer, how am I supposed to wash my sweaty clothes? Am I expected to handwash them myself? What??? I'm here for a vacation, not to do chores! The moment I stepped into the cabin, I was thinking of staying for a few more days to enjoy a good vacation with my wife, but these little details and service experiences over the two days and one night subtly discouraged us from doing so. Alas, the difference between an ordinary B&B and a high-end one probably lies in these details and service! The lake view and the cabin itself are top-tier. Don't let these service issues and details degrade the overall quality. Keep up the good work, owner! I hope to have a different experience when I visit again next year!

My stay at Fairmont Wuhan was fantastic. The hotel has an elegant ambiance, and the rooms are clean and spacious – more than enough room for comfort. Its location is also very convenient, right next to a subway station with two lines. I'd like to extend my sincere thanks to Lily at the front desk for her kind and thoughtful service and efficient check-in process. Also, a big thank you to the butler, Mandy, who provided attentive care and handled all the details meticulously throughout my stay, from check-in to departure. Overall, it was a truly comfortable experience, and I will definitely choose Fairmont Wuhan again next time I visit Wuhan!

This hotel is too far from the city center, located in the outskirts of Wuhan. I booked it for a road trip and had a really bad experience; there's basically no service. The hygiene and facilities are just average, and they're lacking in everything. They don't proactively replenish essential items unless you ask. The front desk for check-in is on the 23rd floor, and the three elevators are shared, with no dedicated ones, which makes it very inconvenient for guests with a lot of luggage using a trolley. Overall, it's suitable for business travelers looking for a budget hotel. However, for older guests, I'd recommend looking for another hotel.

This resort-style hotel with its garden, mountains, and water views gives a great vibe. The rooms are spacious, and the private balcony offers an expansive view of the wide-open sky and Yanxi Lake – it’s truly breathtaking and natural. The hotel's outdoor areas are fantastic; jogging or strolling along the lake is beautiful, especially with the blooming lotus flowers, vast waters, and blue skies. The long-armed swing facing Yanxi Lake, with blooming lotus flowers underfoot and distant mountains, white clouds, green water, and blue sky in the background, is very Instagram-worthy. Right across is Peninsula Paragliding, suitable for older kids (middle school age and up), and they can even send a boat to pick you up and drop you off at the hotel. The feeling of the small boat passing through the lotus flowers is just like a lotus-picking song. There's even more for younger kids to enjoy, both indoors and outdoors.

The location is absolutely fantastic, perfect for a city walk. From the hotel window, you can see Bagongfang right nearby, less than a 10-minute walk away. In the morning, you can stroll around when no one else is there. The surrounding area is full of charming little streets, with unique small restaurants, cafes, and bars, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It was a very comfortable stay! Although the facilities are a bit old, the cleanliness is good. The only minor issue is that the new furniture might have a strong, somewhat pungent smell, but it's only for a few days, so it's not a big deal, and the windows can be opened. I have to say again, the location is just superb.
