GGuest UserOh, my check-out date for this Wuhan hotel kept changing. I originally planned to leave for Changsha on the 6th to enjoy the food, but I ended up being so exhausted from exploring Wuhan – walking over 10,000 steps every day. After some thought, I decided to cancel my Changsha trip, stay an extra night in Wuhan to get some good rest, and then head home early 😂! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's a short drive to pretty much everywhere, taking no more than 20-30 minutes to reach any destination! And I absolutely love Wuhan's food! There's so much to eat, I couldn't try it all: cold noodles, BBQ, crispy dumplings, Leng Ji braised delights, stir-fried lotus root strips, and those矮子餡餅 (a type of pastry) from Jingzhou, just to name a few. For the BBQ specifically, you don't even need to seek out those super popular online spots; just find a BBQ joint downstairs in a residential area, and the food will be great without the long queues! I do have one suggestion: regarding parking, every time I left the hotel, I had to report my license plate to the concierge. This is quite inconvenient. Wouldn't it be easier for both sides if they could authorize parking for the duration of the stay?

GGuest UserMy company's headquarters are here, so I'm always traveling to Optics Valley for business. I've stayed in pretty much every hotel around, but I still prefer the Marriott. Even though it's a bit pricier than others, this is already my 'nth' stay. This time, as a member, I got an upgrade to a suite, which was a great experience, truly impressive! The room was spacious and bright, with excellent ventilation – it felt so refreshing. The doorman always actively helps open and close car doors, which is really commendable, especially with the summer heat. Honestly, I've seen many hotels with service staff just standing there, but the Marriott is different. Oh, and the staff in the hallway always greet you with a warm smile when they pass by. This shows the hotel truly values training in every aspect – solid! As for the location, it's not downtown, which might seem out of the way for others, but for me, with my company here, it's actually convenient. Finally, let's talk about breakfast. Before, I always went for the hot dry noodles, which were a bit too dry. This time, I tried the beef noodles, and they were fantastic! The beef was flavorful and tender, and the rice noodles were delicate. I'm definitely switching to beef noodles from now on. I hope the service quality remains consistently high for my next stay.

GGuest UserHotel is in very convenient location in Wuhan, almost right on Line 5 subway. Intererior was well renovated and appointed. Staff was helpful and responsive with issue. Hotel breakfast was decent for hotels in general but the neighbourhood has much better breakfast options. Only issue was the other hotel guests smoking in contridiction to all of the no smoking signs.

HHutouhunaoThe room is very big, and it's very quiet at night. When you get up in the morning, you can go for a run around the courtyard. The manager Jason also gave me fruits. The environment is also very nice, and the breakfast is rich.

AAyawangyayaThe Hongshan Hotel boasts an excellent location, right outside the subway exit. Despite being an older five-star hotel, it's been recently renovated, so the facilities are new and very clean. They even have a laundry room, which is super convenient for washing and drying clothes. The hotel also has its own gym and a pool with clean, well-maintained water. Plus, the Hongshan Hotel is the historical site of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, so it's rich in cultural heritage and great for photos! The hotel's service is absolutely fantastic – they're always helpful and greet you with a smile. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Wuhan!

SSiyerI blindly booked an Executive Skyview King Room at the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan for three days and two nights. Then, on May 30th, thanks to being unable to pay for an upgrade at a former top-tier luxury hotel, I unhesitatingly extended my stay at the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan for another five days and four nights. This allowed me to have an incredibly pleasant May Day 'Staycation' during my brief eight-day visit to Wuhan. Before checking in, I received a pre-arrival call from Camellia, the Executive Lounge Supervisor, and multiple contacts on the day of my arrival. She came downstairs to greet me, proactively informed me about changes in the weather, and after check-in, arranged for an upgrade and informed me of dinner times. Because she noticed my voice was slightly hoarse during the pre-arrival call, she thoughtfully prepared rock sugar stewed pear (P4), which was served during dinner at the Executive Lounge. This genuinely impressed me, a frequent traveler who often calls hotels home due to work, even though it wasn't my first time in Wuhan but my first stay at a newly opened hotel. Over the next two days, whether it was the three daily meals (the executive five meals in this 'Carb Capital' luxury hotel were truly more than a normal person could handle! So good! 👍) or every aspect of housekeeping and daily life, especially the 'hidden menu' six-course breakfast (P5-P10) specially prepared by Executive Lounge Manager Angus during breakfast on the second day – it was full of surprises with not a single misstep. I'd even suggest that those with smaller appetites might consider ordering à la carte, because if you eat it all, you'll find that besides feeling 'carb-ed out,' you might not even be able to enjoy a pleasant afternoon or a rich dinner. 🧸 Don't ask me how I know! During my eight-day stay, almost every day was filled with joy, happiness, and, of course, various delicious foods and wines. 🥂 As a friend who moved from a former top-tier luxury hotel in Wuhan to the Ritz-Carlton on May Day said, 'It's rare to see me stay in one hotel for so long' (due to my allergies, I have high demands for food and lodging). But indeed, since checking in on April 27th, for someone who usually works late and doesn't sleep until after midnight, being able to fall asleep punctually at 10:30 PM every night was something I couldn't even imagine myself doing. As for the food, whether it was Chinese or Western Xiangyang beef noodles, tomato meat sauce pasta, crayfish cold noodles, Australian beef and lamb chops, pan-fried cod and salmon, abalone braised pork, creamy pumpkin soup, mushroom cream soup, cordyceps old chicken/duck soup, or even daily freshly squeezed cucumber juice and golden passion fruit – there was such a variety of dishes and desserts, from breakfast to dinner, that I didn't even have time to try them all. And let's not forget the cocktails made by Ari and Carah! 🍸 So, taking this opportunity to review my order, I must express my gratitude to the Executive Lounge team: Angus, Camellia, Carah, Ari, May, Freya, and Alina; Chef Yuuki, Kenny, and Chef Gong Feng (whose English name I don't know); Lumi, the supervisor of the lobby cafe; the super lovely Aunt Liu Yuping, who was responsible for daily room cleaning; and the super careful and honest Master Li, the hotel's chauffeur! Thank you all for your professional service and customer-first attitude, which made the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan my top choice for a staycation along the Yangtze River in the magnificent city of Wuhan. See you next time in Wuhan!

JJchen1This hotel is extremely convenient, being very close to the airport, which made our travel much easier. At the beginning of our stay there were a few issues and we had to change rooms twice, but the customer service was excellent throughout. The staff were patient, responsive, and genuinely helpful in resolving everything quickly. The amenities were a big plus the gym was well-equipped, and the free laundry service was very convenient. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a very good buffet offering plenty of options. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the great service and facilities made this a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would happily stay again.

AAnonymous UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hilton Wuhan Riverside, and I can confidently say that it was one of the finest hotel experiences I have ever had. What truly made this stay exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Manager Herry Huang. From the moment I arrived, Herry demonstrated an extraordinary level of professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His ability to anticipate guests’ needs and provide personalized assistance is a rare quality that sets him apart. The hotel itself is absolutely remarkable. The facilities are elegant, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Every detail reflects the high standards expected from a world-class Hilton property. However, what distinguishes this hotel from many other luxury hotels is its people. Herry Huang and his team embody the true meaning of hospitality. Their warmth, dedication, and commitment to excellence transformed a great stay into an unforgettable one. I have stayed at many hotels around the world, but the level of care and service I received here was genuinely exceptional. Hilton Wuhan Riverside has set a benchmark for what a luxury hotel experience should be. My sincere thanks to Herry Huang and the entire hotel team for making my stay so memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wuhan and will undoubtedly choose it again in the future. A perfect experience in every way.

GGuest UserI stopped over in Wuhan for a night and the accommodation exceeded my expectations. We checked in smoothly with our pet, and there were no additional charges. The hotel did a great job assigning our room, and the soundproofing was excellent. It was the first time my dog slept so soundly outside of our home; she didn't spend the whole night on guard. We kept our dog in a stroller in the public areas. While the hotel is pet-friendly in that it allows pets, there's still room for improvement. For example, the pet bed provided isn't very useful, as most pet owners know that pets won't readily sleep in an unfamiliar bed with unfamiliar scents. Perhaps a pet playpen would be better. Providing pet pads, diapers, and even pheromone sprays for anxiety or flea/tick sprays would truly make it feel pet-friendly. Nevertheless, I'm happy to see that brand-name hotels are gradually opening up to and improving their pet policies, and I believe things will only get better in the future. Aside from the pet aspect being quite satisfactory, I really need to complain about the hotel breakfast. I arrived at the restaurant around 9:45 AM, knowing the hotel was full and breakfast would be crowded, so I specifically tried to avoid peak hours. When I got to the entrance, both the hostess and manager were looking down, and there was no one to seat us. All the trays were empty, and people were scrambling to find plates. I didn't see any service staff in the dining area; it was the head chef who brought out the plates. The food was cleared very quickly by 9:55 AM. I asked an employee who was clearing the food for a main serving spoon to eat my cereal, and she told me they only had ceramic spoons, and that the stainless steel ones were only for the serving counter. The Americano coffee machine at the coffee bar only filled cups about 60% of the way. The restaurant manager really needs to contact the supplier to adjust the machine. What I also can't understand is why the omelet station, which is a key QA check for the Marriott brand, has been changed. There are no more omelets, and although they made sunny-side up eggs, I'm still a bit confused. I've never stayed at a Sheraton before, so perhaps the standards are different? On a positive note, I want to praise the chef at the noodle station. She was incredibly enthusiastic, and the beef noodles were delicious. Even though it was close to closing time, she maintained her warmth and enthusiasm, which was really lovely. However, there's a small detail: the chopsticks provided for eating noodles aren't ideal for picking up the noodles. I observed that most guests were business travelers, and it's very easy for soup to splash onto their clothes. Because of this, I didn't finish my delicious beef noodles.

ZZeijiushidalianrenThe hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable. It's situated right on Yanjiang Avenue, directly across from a huge riverside park. You can step downstairs and immediately enjoy views of the Yangtze River, cherry blossoms, and the night cruise boats – no need to go anywhere else. Right next to the hotel are the Soong Ching Ling Former Residence and the Wuhan Municipal Government building. Behind it is the Wuhan Women's Federation, and the famous Bagong House is a short walk away. It's quite luxurious and grand. The hotel's swimming pool and amenities are all excellent and fully equipped. However, I generally wouldn't recommend the hotel breakfast. There isn't much to choose from; it's probably the worst breakfast I've had at a five-star hotel. If you have the option, definitely stay in an executive suite. You can enjoy river views right from your bed, and the toiletries are all brand-name products. For food delivery, you'll need to go downstairs to pick it up yourself. The hotel can deliver it to your room, but it's slow.
