"Coming to Wuhan, choosing Shuiyunlan was absolutely the right decision! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street. You can explore the shopping district and enjoy delicious food within a five-minute walk. It's also super close to Metro Lines 2 and 6, making it incredibly convenient to visit Hankou Beach and Li Huangpi Road. After a long day of sightseeing, it's a breeze to walk back to the hotel at night. The cleanliness and soundproofing were the biggest surprises! The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and odor-free, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with no hidden dirty spots – a real win for neat freaks like me. The soundproofing was unexpectedly good too; once you closed the door, the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian street completely disappeared. I could barely hear neighboring doors opening and closing, so late-night chats weren't an issue at all, providing plenty of privacy for couples. The hotel's light luxury, simple European decor creates a very cozy atmosphere. The lobby also offers free tea and snacks, and the service was very attentive. Overall, the experience was fantastic! I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Wuhan, and I highly recommend it to all couples visiting Jianghan Road!"

"Hey everyone, I just have to share my amazing hotel experience with you all! 😎 This hotel boasts an excellent location right in the city center, surrounded by shopping malls and food streets, making getting around super convenient. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by a warm and friendly front desk lady, and check-in was quick and smooth. The room itself was a pleasant surprise; the decor was simple yet cozy, and the bed was incredibly soft, like sleeping on a cloud – I had a fantastic night's rest 🌙. The bathroom was spotless and tidy, and all the toiletries were high-quality. The hotel's breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, with both Chinese and Western dishes available, and everything tasted superb 👍. Plus, there's a gym and a swimming pool, which I made sure to use daily to work out and relax. What truly touched me was the hotel's service; the staff were always on hand and ready to assist with anything I needed. One day, I accidentally got some important documents wet, and they immediately helped me find a way to dry them, solving a huge problem for me. This stay was absolutely perfect, and the next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I highly recommend it to everyone! 👏"

"I absolutely loved the service and amenities at the Shangri-La Wuhan! Both times I requested extra water, a razor, and other items from room service, they responded in about 5 minutes. The room was clean and spacious, and I especially liked the long desk! All the electrical appliances were spotless, clearly designed with safety and cleanliness in mind. For example, the electric kettle's power cord can be neatly rolled into a hidden compartment in its base. The ironing board and iron were also very easy to use. Overall, I appreciate the service and facilities of the well-established Shangri-La brand. There were no strange odors in the room, and the lotion had that familiar citrus scent. This time, the razor handle was actually bamboo, which was a nice touch, and it even came with a small can of shaving foam! The indicator lights in the elevator lobby were very clear, and when an elevator arrived, there was not only a red light but also a bell sound, so you'd never have trouble finding which of the six elevators had arrived. Very user-friendly! Most importantly, the value for money is exceptional! Thumbs up! 👍"

"I usually like to save the best for last when writing, but for reviews, I'll cut straight to the chase. We booked an Executive Suite primarily for the Executive Lounge access, but the lounge experience was so disappointing that we checked out after just one night. The room itself, however, was great. Executive Lounge Happy Hour: We arrived at six, and it was already packed. There was barely any food left. Since it was the Winter Solstice on Saturday, they had dumplings. No desserts, and the cold selection just had sandwiches and sushi. Some dishes were empty. We found a spot, and just as we were finishing up, another guest placed a dirty plate next to us. The whole lounge was so noisy; we left after less than half an hour. Compared to executive lounges at other hotels, this one was truly subpar. The last three pictures show some of the dishes from the executive lounge. Facilities: The Executive Suite on the 19th floor was very spacious at 98 square meters, with two bathrooms. The living room had a sofa and a round table, and the bedroom was also large. The bathroom was equipped with mouthwash, and the living room had a capsule coffee machine, all very good. The view outside was also excellent. Ambiance: The lobby was spacious and featured some old photos of Wuhan. Service: The service was very good. The front desk staff specifically put the explanation of the executive floor benefits into an envelope for us. Breakfast: The Executive Lounge doesn't offer breakfast, so we had to go to the restaurant on the second floor. However, the breakfast selection was quite extensive. The freshly made Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) was delicious. There were plenty of choices for desserts, fruits, drinks, and main courses, and enough seating at the tables. However, the hotel was very slow to refund the deposit. We checked out on Saturday morning around 10 AM, but didn't receive the deposit until Sunday morning around 9 AM. Overall, it's still a pretty good hotel; I'm just quite disappointed with the Executive Lounge. If I book again, I'll just opt for a standard room."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, occupying the highest floors of the whole Ping An building, offering the broadest river views. There are other hotels downstairs, making it feel a bit like a hotel complex building. There are two dedicated elevators for access, and waiting times are generally fine outside of holidays when it's not too crowded. The lobby is on the 56th floor, and guest rooms are on the 56th floor and below. All river view rooms offer views of the Yangtze River, but due to other buildings, it's not a completely unobstructed, direct river view. Atour is a hotel chain I frequently stay at. I feel their management is becoming increasingly mature, and they consistently deliver well on both facilities and service. As a chain hotel, the breakfast is also quite commendable and offers great value for money, with a good selection of local specialties to try. The coffee was a bit bitter, but everything else was good."

"Our stay here was absolutely perfect! The 24-hour butler service was incredibly thoughtful; they helped us arrange transportation whenever we went out, and we always returned to refreshing iced drinks in our room. They even had a charger ready for us when we forgot ours. The room itself was luxurious and spotless, and the night view was spectacular. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit!"

"I absolutely have to give this hotel a positive review! From Kitty reaching out early, to the doorman proactively helping with luggage as soon as we got out of the car, to Ana at the front desk efficiently handling check-in and thoughtfully informing us of the executive lounge's opening hours, the entire experience was excellent. The room I booked had a great view; I could even zoom in on my phone to see the Yellow Crane Tower. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with the Xiangyang beef noodles and freshly steamed buns being particularly delicious."

"We stayed at East Lake Hotel, Tingtao 2#, for three nights in August 2025, it was great, highly recommend ! East Lake Hotel is known for its beautiful scenery, just as expected, the view was absolutely stunning, but what was better than the view was the best customer service. They assigned a staff member, Ms. Yu, to help us. Ms. Yu gave us her WeChat contact information so we can reach out easily. Ms. Yu was professional and courteous, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, any concern / issue we had, she handled it quickly, including helping out with the laundry! We stayed at other Five Star hotels in Wuhan, Beijing, and Shanghai, but no other hotel provided this level of service. The front desk was also very helpful. Last but not the least, their breakfast buffet was the best among the 6 hotels we stayed for this trip.
