GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room.
The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger.
My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic.
I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant.
I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

For the first time, I felt that the cost was worth it.
Facilities: gym, outdoor supplies, room supplies are all complete, because the parent-child room, the toiletries inside are prepared for the children separately, we are useless because it is adults, but we feel very intimate and finally want to take home to the children at home. It must be liked here.
Hygiene: Overall, it is still trustworthy, and there is no place to find special questioning.
Environment: Chinese pastoral style, there is a place to camp outdoor activities, group building friends to travel or family outings are very good, you can fish, you can walk around, the air scenery is very comfortable. We have not had a long time around the place to put the wind, and it is actually very comfortable to stroll around.
Service: This is really something to say.
Front desk: If you have any questions, the front desk will respond to the solution as soon as possible, and if you have a need, you will meet it as soon as possible.
Cleaning: Auntie saw that I had garbage in my hand and immediately said to me, give it to me, I will deal with it.
Butler: Help follow up the check-in, immediately help us deliver the luggage to the room, and then tell me some places to play around.
Everyone was friendly and it was a very happy experience.
Because it is still relatively secluded in the mountains, many restaurants here rest from 8 o'clock to 8:30, so the hotel has a place to eat, the price is similar to the outside, the portion is good, the chef is not bad, our team is in the hotel box for convenience. Eat, The waiter has been busy and caring very thoughtful.

The team is very satisfied with this experience. I hope every staff member of the hotel can be happy every day.
We went on weekdays, so there were no people, I highly recommend staggered trips if possible.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, very close to the University of Science and Technology of China. The breakfast is very good, the room has an unbeatable view and is quite spacious. The water temperature is also good and the room is very clean. The key point is that the front desk service is very good, and there is also a lot of love here, allowing passers-by to come in and take shelter from the wind and rain. Overall very good.

I had a disappointing experience during my recent stay at this hotel. Last year, the staff were excellent, but this year, I encountered issues. After staying for a few nights, I realized I had misplaced my bag. I approached the receptionist, a woman who had been working that night, to inquire if she had found anything on the chair or if I had left something behind. Instead of assisting me, she shouted in my face, repeatedly saying, “No, no, no, before I start talking to send her my problem.”
This response was both unhelpful and unprofessional. Effective communication and assistance are crucial in hospitality, especially when guests are seeking help with lost items. Such behavior not only reflects poorly on the individual staff member but also on the hotel’s reputation as a whole.
I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure future guests receive the courteous and helpful service they deserve.

GGuest UserThe staff were extremely professional, the room was very spacious. The hotel is located very close to major food and beverage establishments. Deliveries are brought to the rooms in an AI operated robot which was really innovative. The breakfast was absolutely sensational and definitely a highlight during the trip.
The F&B staff were extremely courteous, friendly and caring as they interacted with all guests to ensure they were having an optimal dining experience.
We look forward to our next visit to the hotel, definitely recommend the hotel as it is simply brilliant!

HHuxixiThis hotel is located in the city center. It has a grand appearance and is very close to the subway station and bus station. It is very convenient to travel. Xiao Li, the receptionist at the front desk, was enthusiastic and patient. It is also equipped with a robot to deliver food. The room is not large but has a reasonable layout. Even if it is a room facing the road, it is still good to have double-glazed soundproofing. The service is attentive. It’s a really great hotel. I’ll stay here again next time! Like, like, like!

AAllicerSuch a nice place to go for weekend relaxation. We love the infinity pool and the cleanliness of the entire area. The food is good; if you want barbecue, be sure to order in advance or, better yet, bring your own meat. Unfortunately, we ordered, we waited, and then, after more than 30 minutes, they told us it wasn't available anymore. Also, it's so hard to take a taxi or Didi from there; we've asked the receptionist to help us, but she said they couldn't. We hope the receptionist can be more accommodating and helpful. Anyway,after an hour of waiting, we've got our own taxi without their help. But overall, we like staying there, and we will definitely come back for the infinity pool and nature.

GGuest UserIt locates near the lake, so there's awesome and gorgeous view. I can see very beautiful lake on the balcony in my room. There are several big hotels around the lake. This Novotel has the best lake view.
The distance to the Chaohu Lake is not far. Renting a car is the best choice. This location is nearly the edge of service areas of the shared electric bicycles.
There are many merchants near this Novotel. It's very convenient to buy food and daily supplies.
It's really an unforgettable travel. Next time I would select this Novotel again.
