GGuest UserI had an exceptional stay at this resort hotel. The property is located in a beautiful resort area and truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The hotel was impeccably clean, with very high-end facilities that reflect excellent management and attention to detail.
The service was outstanding. All staff members were extremely friendly, professional, and attentive, making the entire stay comfortable and welcoming. As a foreign guest, I was especially impressed by how accommodating the hotel was. They thoughtfully provided Western breakfast options, and for lunch, the chef personally listened to our preferences and prepared special dishes tailored to our needs. This level of care and flexibility is rare and deeply appreciated.
Overall, the experience was truly memorable. The combination of cleanliness, premium facilities, and warm, personalized service made this stay outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lujiang City and would gladly return in the future.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room.
The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger.
My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic.
I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant.
I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, very close to the University of Science and Technology of China. The breakfast is very good, the room has an unbeatable view and is quite spacious. The water temperature is also good and the room is very clean. The key point is that the front desk service is very good, and there is also a lot of love here, allowing passers-by to come in and take shelter from the wind and rain. Overall very good.

MM22308****I have to give this hotel a huge thumbs up! The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, with amazing natural light that instantly made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The hotel amenities were diverse and plentiful; the gym, for example, had brand-new, fully equipped machines – perfect for fitness enthusiasts. Breakfast was beyond amazing, with a vast selection of both Western and Chinese dishes that tasted delicious. The staff were polite, thoughtful, and provided detailed, attentive service, helping me with several issues. The location is superb, with convenient transport links nearby, making it super easy to get around and explore. This hotel is truly a gem; I'll definitely choose it again next time!

NNaughtyMaoHotel is situated in an office-like building judging by the entrance, or it could be an apartment, i'm not sure. Only 1 lift out of 6 serves the hotel. The room was really nice, especially the bathroom. The only minor issue i had in the room is the cleaning staff left a few sticky streaks on the floor mid-way through my stay. Washing machines and dryers were very useful, though the provided iron is too small and the ironing board legs were broken. The carpark entrance malfunctions often as it fails to detect cars exiting, many drivers resort to honking in the hope that a staff member nearby will open the gate. However, it’s unclear whether there is anyone assigned to manage this as i did not see any booth or place for carpark staff.

GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It offers great value for money — the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, far bigger than I expected for the price. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to local attractions and transport.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and ready to assist with anything I needed. A special thank you to Xiao He 小何 and Xiao Ye 小叶for their warm hospitality and attentive service — they truly made my stay memorable.
The breakfast was lovely, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine service at a great price!

RRob72I booked this hotel for my wife, who is Chinese. I wasn't allowed to use my trip coins. She was in town to register our Hong Kong marriage at the Hukou office. The room they booked her into was not the one that was advertised. I booked a panoramic double room but what is shown in the pictures is not what she received.
I suspect because she is Chinese she was downgraded. She said the room was old and not good. They did switch her to another room for an upgrade but it still looked like the same type of room. It was very small when compared to the pictures on trip.com.
At first, we thought this was a hotel we could stay at again when I come to Anhui to visit her family. After her experience, we will probably not stay here. I have very high standards and always expect to get what I pay for. Additionally, her reservation included the free breakfast buffet. She said the breakfast was low quality.
Also, the reservation included a free gift. She did not receive a free gift, as promised.

GGuest UserIt locates near the lake, so there's awesome and gorgeous view. I can see very beautiful lake on the balcony in my room. There are several big hotels around the lake. This Novotel has the best lake view.
The distance to the Chaohu Lake is not far. Renting a car is the best choice. This location is nearly the edge of service areas of the shared electric bicycles.
There are many merchants near this Novotel. It's very convenient to buy food and daily supplies.
It's really an unforgettable travel. Next time I would select this Novotel again.

GGuest UserThe location is okay for concerts, about a 30-minute walk. However, there is construction nearby, which makes it noisy. The renovation is probably quite old, and some of the design is not very reasonable. There is no full-length mirror, and the sink does not have a trash can. Also, people will slip small cards into the room at night. The room itself is quite large.

GGuest UserAfter booking the room, the housekeeper will add WeChat in advance to make arrangements. Any problems during the stay will be handled by the corresponding staff. The breakfast and lunch are really rich, and 2 adults and 1 child can't finish them. Dinner is ordered, and melon seeds and peanuts are also delivered after dinner. It's so comfortable with a cup of black tea. The farm allows free feeding of small animals, boating, swings, slides, and tents. The children made a ceramic bowl and wrote their names on it. Will the meals be more delicious in the future? 😋, after picking vegetables, I took the rice wine sent by the farm home. I will come again next time when spring comes.
