SSeren✨Had a fantastic stay! My friend and I chose this hotel for our trip to Shenyang, and its location is super convenient. It's just a few hundred meters walk to the subway station, making it easy to get to Zhongjie Street, the Palace Museum, Shenyang North Station, Shenyang Station, and other attractions. Plus, it's a short walk to Nan Market and the TV Tower.
The hotel staff provided excellent service; they were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Both the environment and hygiene were top-notch. The TV in the room was huge, and casting content onto it for viewing was a great experience. You can also order takeout, and a robot will deliver it to your room. If you're visiting, I highly recommend considering this place! Thumbs up!

GGuest UserPrime location! Right in the heart of Youth Street, next to the subway entrance, making it super quick to get anywhere. There are tons of shops, night markets, and great food nearby, plus the transportation is convenient and it's great value for money. The service is thoughtful and meticulous; the front desk staff are gentle and patient. Housekeeping is thorough, the room was spotless, and everything was just perfect.

-We put up the Do Not Disturb sign (and tripled checked it) because we had done laundry, and the room was disorganized and had personal items hang drying. They came and cleaned our room and removed the sign.
-We had a packaged delivered to the hotel and showed them the tracking info on the Chinese receipt. They brought us the wrong package and then tried to tell us ours was delivered to the wrong hotel. Another guest helped translate and then they called the number on the tracking receipt. The receipt had the name of the employee at their hotel that signed for the package, which we tried to point out. After the phone call. They went and brought out my package. It had the tracking number clearly displayed so I'm really not sure why they couldn't originally find it.
-we checked out and were waiting in the lobby until we could go to the airport. My partner asked if there was a bathroom she could use. They told us they dont have a public bathroom and wouldn't let her go up to the floor with the bathrooms...after we just spent a lot of money at their hotel. It was pretty shocking after staying at many hotels much more friendly.
-the location wasn't terrible but there were no sidewalks and lots of barriers up so it was hard to get our luggage to the hotel.
Overall, we would not stay at this hotel again.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient; you can see it right from North Station and even access it directly via an underground passage. Subway Lines 2 and 4 are right downstairs, making transportation a breeze. Taxis can also drop you off directly at the hotel entrance. Breakfast is available, though the variety is pretty standard. They also offered a complimentary business lunch or dinner, which had limited options, but it was enough to fill you up. The room looked exactly like the pictures, but the cleanliness details weren't great and definitely need improvement.

SSunnyAmyEvery year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service.
This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself.
If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed.
While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite.
Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out.
I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. See you again, Ascott, in the summer!

MMr.A86The hotel is in prime location. It takes about 10 minutes to drive anywhere you like (main attractions and restaurants, parks, railway stations, etc.).
There is a night market is just behind the hotel. It has great food options for both adults and kids.
If don’t want to eat out you can order food online and the robot will deliver it to you (one of the features that we really like here in China). There is a Luckin Coffee next door as well.
The check-in and -out is smooth and prompt. Our room was upgraded (I am not sure what the real difference it made thought).
The breakfast area is small but food choices are varied. there is also a nice view if you sit by the window.
The lobby has some child-friendly activities where kids can play and socialize.
With that being said, the soundproofing is pretty bad and room cleanness is below average, i.e. there is dust on shelves, smudges on the floor, and hair in linen.
To top it up, there was a male guest in the lobby smoking like a chimney. There are signs everywhere that says smoking is forbidden. The man did not care and the staff did not interfere.
We were surprised to see such a high rating of this hotel via Trip. We would consider other options next time we are in Shenyang.

BBeijingludeng📍This is a fantastic hotel in Shenyang, conveniently located about 500 meters from Shenyang North Railway Station, easily reachable on foot. The lobby is on the fourth floor, and the overall atmosphere is very comfortable.
✅The hotel's service is outstanding, especially the front desk staff. One particular staff member, wearing glasses, was exceptionally professional and enthusiastic. The check-in process was quick and efficient, clearly demonstrating the hotel's high standard of management.
🏠The rooms maintain their usual style. While the decor isn't flashy, they are clean, tidy, and have a simple design, making them very suitable for business travelers. 💰The price is also very reasonable, costing just over a hundred yuan during the off-season.

DDupiSpent New Year's Eve in Shenyang with my family, and this hotel was perfectly located right next to Zhongjie. It's just a three-minute walk from the subway exit, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are tons of dining options nearby, including some famous old establishments, and many attractions are within walking distance. All in all, for anyone wanting to stay near Zhongjie and explore the surrounding sights, this hotel is highly recommended and left us very satisfied. It's definitely a much better choice than those ridiculously overpriced, run-down chain hotels.
