Shenyang Hotels with Bars

I stayed at the Manxin Hotel near the Olympic Sports Center during my business trip. The hotel environment was excellent, the hotel was very new, the rooms were very clean, and the service was very warm. I booked a deluxe room, but it felt a bit small. The front desk staff kindly upgraded me to a super deluxe suite free of charge. I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel.

Fantastic experience! Highly recommended. Great Location: Situated in the heart of the tourist district, right next to the Shenyang Imperial Palace. It's just a 10-minute walk to Liu Laogen Grand Stage and a 15-minute walk to Marshal Zhang's Mansion and Zhongjie Commercial Street. This makes it easy to visit attractions during off-peak hours! There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and a 24-hour convenience store, fruit shop, restaurants, and BBQ joints nearby – super convenient! Excellent Facilities: The hotel offers a quiet oasis despite being in a bustling area. Even though tourist buses drop off right downstairs and there are crowds of people, you can barely hear any noise. The rooms are incredibly spacious, offering a great sense of openness and comfort. The large fridge, washing machine, and microwave are fantastic additions, especially the washing machine with a drying function – truly wonderful! The hotel only has 14 rooms, each over 60 square meters, which provides a strong sense of privacy. The hotel also has its own parking lot exclusively for guests, which is a huge plus in this area! Warm Service: On the first day of our stay, we noticed the shower drain was slow, and the hotel resolved it immediately and efficiently. We also received complimentary burger meal vouchers for the Yueshi Western Restaurant on the first floor, and the food was delicious. A small suggestion: Since the rooms are quite large, there are many light switches. It's sometimes hard to tell which switch controls which light. It would be even better if they were labeled.

My stay at Manxin Mansion, Shenyang Middle Street Forbidden City, was absolutely perfect! Let's start with the cleanliness – the guest rooms were meticulously cleaned, with not a speck of dust in the corners, bathrooms, or on the bedding. There were no hairs or strange odors. The restaurant tables were also cleaned regularly, and the cutlery was sparkling. As someone with germophobia, I felt completely at ease. The breakfast was definitely a pleasant surprise. It offered a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options, including local specialties like Shenyang chicken racks and freshly made bone broth noodles. The ingredients were fresh, and the food tasted great. They replenished items quickly, and the dining hours from 7 AM to 11 AM were very convenient. I especially want to commend the front desk staff, Ms. Bu Kun. She was incredibly gentle and patient, checked me in efficiently, and proactively reminded me about afternoon tea and late-night snacks. Her service was attentive and thoughtful throughout my stay, making me feel right at home. This hotel is definitely my top choice for anyone visiting Shenyang!

Before going there, I was mainly attracted by the environment here, although it is a bit far from the city. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The decoration is the same as the picture. The bed is very big. It is rare to find such a big bed in other places. It is more than enough for three people. The front desk has a very good attitude and is very patient. They also provide separate slippers and toothbrushes for the baby. The parking lot is indeed very large. It's big, maybe because there are so many people during the Qingming Festival, it's not easy to find a parking space when we come back late. I ordered takeout the next morning and it was delivered by a robot. The child loved it and it was very novel. All in all, it was a satisfying trip. I will stay here again next time I come to Shenyang.

I don't know what's going on in Shenyang these past couple of days, it's so cold outside you feel like your ears might fall off. But stepping into the hotel is like entering a completely different world; it's incredibly warm. Star River is a domestic chain brand. I've stayed at a Star River hotel in Taiyuan before, but I didn't have a great experience because it had been open for a while, and all the facilities felt quite old. Coming to the Star River in Shenyang, I realized their decor style is consistent across the brand, but since this one just opened less than two years ago, all the facilities and amenities are very new. The decor has a uniform color scheme, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience. It's really good; staying here in Shenyang is a solid choice. The only minor drawback is that the breakfast selection is a bit limited, though they still have the essentials. The rooms at Star River can be summed up in one word: spacious! The sheer amount of space inside the room is absolutely invigorating! There's also a separate living area, and the bathroom and shower are well-separated. Especially the hot water for showering – it's fantastic! The water pressure is strong, and it's piping hot, incredibly refreshing after a long day!

The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. I'm putting a photo of the Beiling Park view from my window as the first picture to show how much I appreciate the hotel's location. Now for the complaints. I was traveling with my child, and I had originally booked Shenyang Hotel. However, I carelessly booked a king-sized bed room. By the time I noticed and tried to change it, they no longer had any twin rooms available. I then looked around the Beiling area and saw that Phoenix Hotel still had twin rooms, so I quickly booked it... Because of this rushed change, I only briefly checked Ctrip, which listed a laundry room in the facilities. I didn't verify it in detail at the time (I had actually read reviews for Shenyang Hotel beforehand and confirmed they had washing machines, dryers, and other basic facilities before booking. If only I hadn't made that last-minute mistake). Here, I also have to criticize Ctrip. Your information is wrong! How can you just blindly mark things like that? This is misleading! I only found out after checking in, when I casually asked the front desk for details: Where is the restaurant, and where is the laundry room? The front desk staff said, ”We don't have a laundry room. All laundry is sent out for a fee.” ??? Ctrip, come out! Explain to me what you meant by 'laundry room' in your listing??? Fine, I'll endure... After all, Shenyang was the second half of my trip to Northeast China with my child. In Harbin, I stayed at Mercure, and my clothes were washed clean every day without any damage. So, not washing them for the last few days is fine. Then, after settling into the room, I plugged in the mosquito repellent into the bedside socket, and *zap* – a flash of white light, and the entire room went dark. Oh, not only was there no power, but the bedside phone was also dead. I had to use my mobile phone to search for the hotel's front desk number on Ctrip. It took several attempts to get through. The front desk then sent a staff member to check, who then called an engineer for repairs. After fixing it for a while, the engineer said, ”It should be working now, right?” He flipped the switch, and *zap* – another flash of white light. Alright, the engineer said it couldn't be fixed anytime soon. We'd have to change rooms. They moved us to a second room. Then I found that this room was incredibly hot, with almost no air conditioning. I pressed the central air conditioning regulator on the wall to its lowest setting, but it made no difference. This time, I picked up the room phone to call the front desk, thankfully it connected normally. I described the air conditioning problem to them, and the staff member on the other end said, ”You shouldn't set the temperature so low. According to national energy-saving regulations...” What the ***, is this about energy saving? This is about the air conditioning not working at all! I interrupted him, feeling like I was about to lose my temper. Okay, the final solution was again for a staff member to come (I already recognized this lady after she fixed the first room), and then she took me to a third room. Apparently, she had checked several empty rooms nearby, and this one had the best air conditioning effect, which is why she confirmed this room for me to switch to. Alright, since I've gone through all this trouble, I'll make do for one night. But my decision to change hotels is already very firm. And yet, there were some highlights. The hotel's breakfast was quite good. As an old-brand star hotel, the dining quality is quite impressive. Recently, the Mercure in Harbin, which cost almost double the price of Phoenix, didn't even have breakfast as good as Phoenix's. Where does an old-brand star hotel go from here? I can only say the hotel management should seriously consider this. Anyway, no laundry room is definitely a deal-breaker. If I had known earlier, I would never have booked it. And if I accidentally booked it, I would have just made do. But the old facilities are also enough to deter people. I can only hope for future improvements.

The hotel is ideally situated adjacent to a shopping center that features a variety of dining options, and it is within walking distance of the Subway H exit. The room is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, although it is equipped only with a heater and lacks air conditioning. Guests can open the window for fresh air, but it is advisable to keep it closed on days when air quality is poor. The breakfast offers a diverse selection, though the preparation of some items could be enhanced. However, I encountered an issue with the lady manager who spoke to me in a rude manner at the Front Office Desk, whose rude demeanor was unprofessional and indicative of a need for further training or reassignment, as she does not exemplify the qualities expected of a good manager.

We had a wonderful stay at Longemont Hotel Shenyang! Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and cozy. The bed was soft. The location is very convenient. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport, and only 10–15 minutes by taxi to the city center. A taxi usually costs around 12 RMB. There are also several large shopping malls and food courts nearby, so it is easy to find great food and do some shopping. The hotel has a free swimming pool, a fitness center, and a laundry room, which made our stay even more comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We really felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely choose Longemont Hotel Shenyang again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel is super good. The location is very good. It is only 200 meters away from the Shenyang Forbidden City. The room facilities are very good. It is very clean and tidy. The mattress is very soft and comfortable. The hot water in the room comes quickly. The things are relatively complete. The service attitude is good. Check-in is fast. I am very satisfied with the check-in experience. The front desk service is very enthusiastic. The places to eat nearby are also convenient. The service is friendly and makes you feel at home. I am looking forward to staying here next time.

Checked in quite late that day, but the front desk was still able to process it. The location is excellent, less than a five-minute walk to the Shenyang Imperial Palace, and also very close to the subway station. The room's air conditioning system worked great, providing excellent ventilation.
