DDashouqianxiaoshouThis is my second stay, and as always, it's excellent! As a Ctrip Diamond member, I've stayed in many hotels, and the Shenyang Hauser Serenity Hotel is definitely one of my favorites!
First off, the hotel's decor is incredibly grand and stylish. The fragrance, color scheme, and every detail feel very high-end. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, and the bed is huge, making it perfect for family trips. My friends told me the family rooms are even more beautiful, with lots of children's toys that kids absolutely love. My child is older now, so we don't need those, but she loved the big TV and casting to it was super fun!
Another highlight is the breakfast. Honestly, the variety and taste of the breakfast are on par with major five-star hotels. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you want to set an alarm and get up for it, rather than sleeping in. You could eat something different every day and still not try everything. The clam and kidney bean noodles, especially with a bit of meat sauce, are absolutely amazing!
Now that the holiday is over, it's time to head home, and I really didn't want to leave. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Shenyang!

I didn't want a hotel that felt too much like a student hostel, nor did I plan on staying in a super luxurious one. I just hoped for something clean, comfortable, and cozy. After comparing several hotels, I chose this one. I initially approached it with a 'just get by' mindset, but I never expected the experience today to be so amazing, completely satisfying both me and my child. I genuinely want to write a thorough review to share with friends traveling to Shenyang.
We traveled on a weekend, and with a second-grader, my biggest concerns are a noisy environment, poor hygiene, and subpar service. Travel with kids often involves many little things, and any unfamiliarity can quickly ruin your mood. However, the moment we stepped into the New World Shenyang Hotel, all those worries vanished. It’s not an overly extravagant or luxurious style; instead, it's incredibly clean, grand, and has a warm, homey feel. The lobby is spacious and bright, with floors and corners meticulously clean. There's no unpleasant smell in the air, just a faint, pleasant fragrance that makes you feel very relaxed. The staff at check-in were super gentle and spoke softly. Knowing we had a child, they thoughtfully arranged a quiet, non-connecting room for us – such a considerate detail!
After entering the room, I immediately started checking the hygiene, and honestly, I couldn't find a single flaw. The bed linens and duvet covers were brand new, flat, and clean, feeling soft to the touch without any stiffness. The floors, windowsills, bedside tables, and even the nooks and crannies were wiped clean. The bathroom's vanity, mirror, and washing area were all impeccably sparkling, and the wet/dry separation was excellent. What's even more thoughtful is the hotel's 24-hour service. We went out with the kids to watch a movie and returned to the hotel quite late. I assumed there wouldn't be anyone at the reception desk late at night, but to my surprise, someone was still there, providing excellent 24-hour service! Plus, there's free underground parking downstairs, which makes it very good value for money.

GGuest UserIt’s a really convenient location that’s within a 5 min walk to the subway station entrance and next door they have a luckin coffee in the Maoye building. The suite room was very big and had a good view of the city and Qing nian street. The room was tidy and they provided soft slippers and robes. Service was great and they would bring our takeout orders to the door. Their fridge was stocked with their own tea bottles, Coke, and 2 bottles of water. They also had their own 2 bags of drip coffee and loose leaf teas. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and we’d recommend Atour hotel.

DDayuxiaodiAs a local couple from Shenyang who have experienced various hotels, Conrad is the only one we keep coming back to. It truly sets the benchmark for hotels in Northeast China! 👍 The dining, service, gym, pool, and views are all top-notch in Shenyang. We chose Conrad again for our anniversary.
The executive lounge benefits for two included delicious afternoon tea pastries, drinks, and cookies. Dinner was quite substantial, featuring curry lamb, seasonal vegetables, and freshly made noodles, along with several cocktails – definitely worth a staycation.
This was our first time bringing our child, and we discovered Conrad's solid wood kids' play area, which is really well-made and quite rare. I'm not a fan of ball pits; they don't seem very hygienic or safe. Our baby had a great time here, and it was relaxing for us parents too. The space is large and safe, truly worth bringing kids to. This setup allows one parent to take care of the child while the other enjoys swimming or working out, which is a lifesaver!
Conrad's swimming pool is a must-visit for me. The 28.5℃ constant temperature pool has an amazing environment and view. The gym is professional, clean, and very high-end, with an open layout rather than being cramped. You can work out every body part, and they've even added new equipment – fantastic! 👍
The executive rooms feature a round bathtub by the window, offering incredible views from the 80+ floor. You can even bring your favorite bubble bath.
The breakfast beef noodles are excellent! 👍 The roujiamo and sauerkraut pies are quite unique. The lunch roasted duck is great! 👍 And they offer salmon.
Finally, a huge thank you to Steven, Sarah, and Vera for their warm and thoughtful service. They were incredibly responsive to all our requests. The service at Conrad Shenyang is truly its soul! 👍 I recommend it to everyone visiting Shenyang.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient; you can see it right from North Station and even access it directly via an underground passage. Subway Lines 2 and 4 are right downstairs, making transportation a breeze. Taxis can also drop you off directly at the hotel entrance. Breakfast is available, though the variety is pretty standard. They also offered a complimentary business lunch or dinner, which had limited options, but it was enough to fill you up. The room looked exactly like the pictures, but the cleanliness details weren't great and definitely need improvement.

SSunnyAmyEvery year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service.
This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself.
If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed.
While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite.
Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out.
I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. See you again, Ascott, in the summer!

PPifaaiqingFor my trip to Shenyang, I chose the InnPark Hotel, and my overall stay was comfortable and hassle-free. The location, environment, and service were all excellent, offering great value for money. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's not far from the city center, and both taxis and the subway are very convenient. It's only about a 7-8 minute walk to Laobei City and also very close to the Bayi Morning Market, so there's no need to opt for hotel breakfast.
The hotel features a minimalist and modern decor style – clean, sophisticated, and understated. The lobby is bright and tidy, with a pleasant, subtle fragrance. Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and the staff were gentle and patient when I asked for directions or stored my luggage; the process was seamless. The room size was just right, not cramped at all. It was exceptionally clean throughout, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had excellent wet and dry separation. The only minor downsides were the low water pressure and that the water temperature was a bit tricky to adjust due to the very sensitive control knob. On the plus side, the toiletries were complete. I would definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Shenyang.

DdanalovetoeatThe location is fantastic, just a short walk to the Rainbow Tower Night Market and LaoSiji restaurant. It's also quite convenient from the airport – you just exit Terminal 2 and cross the road. The shower pressure was good, and the staff were very friendly.
The window view was of the back parking lot, so the small window wasn't an issue. However, the bathroom area was very cramped, and the shower stall was tiny. The drain made loud noises intermittently at night. On the first night, the door wouldn't close properly; I only found out the next day from the staff that you had to really push it hard.
Overall, it doesn't look like a hotel that was renovated in 2024; it's not very well-maintained.
Minibar: I only realized after checking out that the minibar was complimentary on the first day, but this wasn't mentioned during check-in.
