"The location is fantastic, right on a bustling commercial street, making it easy to get anywhere. The facilities are convenient, but perhaps because it's a new hotel, there are quite a few small issues. The air conditioning didn't cool, the smart toilet seat wouldn't heat up, the iron rack was falling off, and the bathroom mirror shelf was covered in dust. Most of the staff were enthusiastic and very good. However, the male staff member at checkout when I went to retrieve my luggage was the worst. He clearly knew about the issues I reported during checkout and promised an explanation when I picked up my bags, but he didn't offer one after I collected them. Very dissatisfied with that."

KKoJustinThe hotel is located near the Liaoning university station. This is a bit far from the historical sites like the shenyang Gugong but it is a bit closer to places like shenyang bei station and the beiling park. The bed in the room is quite comfortable and I have no complaints about the facilities in general. It was also quiet. There are restaurants, convenience stores nearby. For these reasons I would recommend this hotel especially as the price is likely to be lower on non-holidays.

GGuest UserI had a difficult task😃: to arrange an inexpensive vacation for the May holidays in China. This hotel (although I would rather call it a guesthouse) offered very reasonable prices, so I chose it. It is conveniently located – a 15-minute walk from the train station. It turned out that breakfast was also included in the price, which was a pleasant surprise for me. Everything was very tasty. To sum up – if you are looking for a budget option, don't want to stay somewhere outside the city, and hostels where you sleep with strangers are not for you, you can't find a better option. If I am in Shenyang again (and I really liked the city), I will very likely choose this hotel again.

I couldn't go to breakfast because I had a stomachache and had to use the bathroom all night, so I asked the staff to deliver some millet porridge. The staff member, who had been at the restaurant, packed the porridge and side dishes for me for free. It was a small gesture, but it deeply touched me. I'm very grateful to the staff.

SSunnyAmyEvery year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service.
This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself.
If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed.
While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite.
Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out.
I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. See you again, Ascott, in the summer!

GGuest UserThe host was absolutely wonderful and incredibly accommodating. The hotel's location is superb, being very close to attractions like the Forbidden City and the Marshal's Mansion. Transportation was very convenient; it was just over a five-minute drive from the train station. Our room was clean, and even the drinks offered at the hotel were very reasonably priced. Overall, it was a truly satisfying travel experience that exceeded our expectations. To top it off, our room even overlooked the garden.

Taiyuan pedestrian shopping street is so liveable and fun during day and night.
I booked for a non smoking room but given a smoking room.
After requested to change, they were happy to fulfil my request.
The manager was so helpful, thank you.
They don’t speak English but have no issue in communication.
Next morning I’ve met the manager again in the lobby, he told the staff in the breakfast room to help me as well, she especially brought me a plate with knife and fork and showed me to a table, great service, thank you.

GGuest UserThe lady at the front desk was very nice. We originally booked a large bed, but the room seemed to have been freshly painted that day and had a bit of a smell. My girlfriend is more sensitive. The lady at the front desk upgraded us to a room with a large bathtub for free, and we can use it for free at the front. We took the room after checking out the next day, and the sister also brought us masks. The service was really attentive, and the photos taken by my girlfriend were very nice. It was close to Zhongjie and the manicure I did in the afternoon was posted directly. It’s worth giving 5 points. It’s more recommended for couples to check in and stay.

GGuest User🌈Recently I stayed at Shenyang Xinting Hotel, which has an excellent location. It is located at No. 2 Changjiang South Street, Huanggu District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. The transportation is very convenient and there are many delicious foods around it.
🛏️The room is really great! Clean and comfortable, the bed is so soft that you want to jump on it as soon as you enter the room. The sound insulation is also very good, allowing me to sleep very soundly at night.
👩💼The service staff at the front desk were so nice and smiling. The check-in and check-out procedures were super fast, which made people feel very warm.
🚗The hotel also provides free parking services, which is very considerate for guests who travel by car!
🌟In general, I am very satisfied with the environment, facilities and services of Xinting Hotel, and the cost performance is super high! It is especially suitable for friends who come to Shenyang, and it is highly recommended~
