AandreaysI have two minor complaints about my multi-day stay.
1. The hotel had an eco-friendly linen card stating that if you stayed for three consecutive nights without requesting a change of bedding, you'd receive a 'beautiful gift' from Wanda Hotels. Turns out, this 'beautiful gift' was just a plain paper bookmark. It wasn't anything related to local intangible cultural heritage, nor did it have any hotel commemorative value. So, three days of eco-friendliness equaled one cheap bookmark 🔖 in comparison.
2. Around 1 AM on the night of check-in, the hotel suddenly experienced a complete power outage! The hotel explained that it might have been an external issue, like a large cable being damaged, and repairs were underway. However, the elevators were working fine, yet the emergency lights in the room couldn't be turned off at all. It was impossible to sleep, and if we didn't sleep, there was still no power!
Just before we checked out, the hotel called and offered a 'gift' as an apology. The staff member brought it up, and to our surprise, it was just an Artemisia argyi (mugwort) hammer, worth less than 10 RMB. After a sleepless night, this felt like such a half-hearted apology, without any real sincerity... just an Artemisia argyi hammer to brush us off.
Considering these two points, I feel the hotel's so-called sincerity and thoughtfulness were overly perfunctory! It would have been better if they hadn't offered anything at all!
Before leaving, I explicitly told the staff not to bother, as we had many of these items at home. Yet, they still put it in our car! 😞

AAmeng..An excellent stay, with high-standard service from our butler, Dino. He really understands the details of service, acting efficiently and calmly. All our requests were promptly attended to, and he handled everything with thorough planning. He was genuinely warm and friendly, making us feel comfortable and at ease. He always anticipated our needs and thoughtfully resolved any issues. His professionalism and kind demeanor were exceptional, making our entire stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Highly satisfied.

Cleanliness: Same as above.
Ambiance: The room layout is noticeably more rational. Funnily enough, the first time I stayed at a Hyatt, I couldn't even find the restroom! Renaissance hotels, it seems, don't go for those hidden bathroom designs anywhere in the country.
Service: Manager Yang at the front desk arranged my room in advance, which was very thoughtful. They even prepared a welcome gift for my friends who traveled a long way, and we got to try the Shenyang specialty, Bulaolin candy. Really great, thumbs up!
As someone who lives abroad, whenever I return to Shenyang in the Northeast, it's always the Renaissance. I've stayed there for so many years that I'm genuinely too lazy to try anywhere else. The next time I come to Shenyang, or with friends, I'll definitely choose the Renaissance again!

I would like to talk about the service in detail:
First of all, the service at the hotel front desk is very good. The front desk manager also sent us to the room. Thank you very much!
The room service is not satisfactory! We stayed for two consecutive days, and the cleaning lady threw away the food I bought the day before as garbage! The cleaning lady threw away the guests' food and was embarrassed to ask the aunt to compensate. It was quite disgusting!
Secondly, the slippers for the second night were not put for us. I called the room service to ask for slippers. The lady in the room service didn't believe it and asked me to look for it in the room. The cleaning lady didn't put the slippers. I called after looking for it! I asked the room service to bring two bottles of water when she sent the slippers. The lady also told me that there were only two bottles of water in one room, and then she said as a charity that she would make an exception and give me two more bottles...
Isn't this a five-star hotel? Hotels above four stars can add water for free! Even if you stay in a three-star hotel like Home Inn, you can ask for more water if it's not enough. Do you think that guests in high-end hotels have to drive out to the supermarket to buy water if they don't have enough water?
There was a young girl serving the room very well, but the older one had a sullen face and an unpleasant attitude!

Environment: Similar to other Westin hotels I've stayed at, so I'm satisfied. Facilities: The bathtub was broken, but it was repaired quickly. The room isn't huge, but the 2-meter bed is a big plus. I had quite a few issues during this stay; on the second day, my room door inexplicably wouldn't open. Service: It was okay; feedback was addressed relatively quickly. I hope they can inspect and improve the facilities. The pool is especially suitable for children.

MM46283****I booked the Dragon Dream Hotel for my New Year's Day trip to Shenyang. The room was spacious and the lobby was grand, really showing the hotel's commitment to guest experience. The front desk attendant who checked me in was very enthusiastic, and I even added the hotel's duty manager on WeChat. They really go the extra mile to understand and address guest concerns. If you have a reasonable request, it will be met, and you can contact them with any issues during your stay. It's a very thoughtful and guest-centric hotel.

GGuest UserFirst, let's talk about transportation.
You can take a taxi or drive there. It's about a 40-minute taxi ride from the city center. If you drive, hotel guests get free parking, which you can arrange at the front desk.
Next, the environment.
The environment is lovely. The entire resort is well laid out, with lush greenery, and I even saw many white doves. From the main lobby, if you're heading to the Breeze Restaurant (where the breakfast buffet is served), there's a complimentary shuttle cart available (takes about 3-5 minutes). Of course, taking a stroll through the villa area is also a great option.
Now, about the service.
The service was excellent. The taxi drop-off point is at the main entrance of the hot spring area, and you'll need to walk (about 3 minutes) to the main lobby to check in. The check-in process was very fast; I checked in around 2 PM and could go straight to my room. Upon check-in, you're assigned a butler who will add you on WeChat and send useful information about the resort, such as Wi-Fi details, hot spring hours, and breakfast buffet times. The butler also helps escort you to your room and carries your luggage, and even gave me a voucher for a fish spa treatment at the hot springs (one voucher is good for two people, usually costing 30 per person).
Finally, some other points.
1. The hotel has two accommodation areas. One is on the 5th floor of the hot spring building. The advantage here is that it's very close to the hot springs, and you don't need to go outside. If your window faces the villa area, you get a panoramic view of the villas, with great greenery and views, and the price is more affordable. The other area is the villa section, which is closer to the breakfast buffet and offers rooms with private hot spring pools.
2. The breakfast buffet at Breeze Restaurant is from 7 AM to 10:30 AM (no food replenished after 10 AM). The breakfast selection is very rich, with a variety of Chinese, Cantonese, and Western options, and the taste is also good.
3. Guests staying at the hotel receive two hot spring tickets per room, for two separate visits. The first visit can be used on the day of check-in until 12 AM. The second visit is if you check out before 10 AM the next day, you can use the tickets until 6 PM. The tickets are linked to the ID cards used for check-in, so anyone planning to go to the hot springs needs to register their ID at check-in. A 500 deposit is required at check-in. Any consumption in the hot spring area can be charged to this deposit, or paid separately. The deposit refund upon checkout was very quick.
4. I booked a room on the 5th floor of the hot spring building. The room provides plastic slippers for the hot spring (anti-slip); there are no other disposable slippers. The wet and dry areas are separate, and disposable toilet seat covers and toiletries are provided. Although it's in the hot spring building, I didn't find it noisy at all.

GGuest UserThe hotel is really nice but didn’t match the service or facility level of the European branches of the chain. The room was HUGE! I’ve lived in smaller apartments. The breakfast was ok - mostly local selections. I asked for an omelette the first day and I think it was the first they had made one even though it was listed as a made to order option. It’s very close to a subway station but not close to the downtown area with the tourist attractions or the train station. I liked it but wouldn’t stay there again because of the location. I was in room 5116. Haha!

GGuest UserThe room facilities are complete. My child was participating in a chess competition here. I stayed here for one night to rest. It felt good. The breakfast bread was good. The only thing I felt uncomfortable about was that my son was charged 88 yuan for breakfast. I said that a child over 1.3 meters tall should pay the full price, but later they charged half the price. The service staff at the restaurant entrance needs training. They can't tell how old the child is! 1.5 points for service!

HHC1314A family of four, two children, the bed couldn't fit. The hotel took the initiative to help find a solution, with a positive and responsible attitude, warm and thoughtful, and sent snacks and handwritten small cards. Although they took the initiative to give good reviews, even if they didn't mention it, people would want to give good reviews. The hotel is very large, at the foot of Qipan Mountain, with fresh air. The only regret is that if we waited until the grass is long and the willows are green, it would be more perfect. The green area is super large, there is a children's entertainment area and a small animal interaction area, suitable for parent-child accommodation. Take the children to Qipan Mountain and don't want to go home after climbing the mountain, just stay here for one night, and you can go to the zoo the next day!
