"A definite 5-star recommendation! The hotel's location is superb, just a stone's throw from Taiyuan Street and a short walk from the subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. All your dining and shopping needs are easily met nearby. The hotel service truly deserves full praise. A big thank you to the staff working on the afternoon of August 16th, especially a lady at the front desk – my apologies for not remembering your name. The hotel breakfast offers an incredibly rich and varied spread, with authentic flavors that are both visually appealing and delicious. The gym is spacious, bright, and well-equipped. The room facilities are luxurious. Although they show slight signs of age, this in no way diminishes their luxury or functionality. However, I would suggest the hotel implements a more thorough and regular cleaning schedule for some of the sofa upholstery. Additionally, the room layout could be further optimized. For example, regarding bed placement in family suites: while I understand the current design philosophy, I recommend reconfiguring some rooms to place both the large and small beds in the bedroom, thereby restoring the living room function. Furthermore, the food and service at the Tang Palace restaurant on the 6th floor are also excellent. Beyond a 5-star recommendation – this is my top choice when visiting Shenyang!"

"I visit Shenyang around this time every year, and I always choose this hotel. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. Breakfast is also delicious, and the hotel boasts a lovely, elegant ambiance. The location is fantastic; it's super convenient for Shenyang Station, and you can step right out to go shopping. With a supermarket and a coffee shop conveniently located downstairs, everything you need is right within reach. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is a whole floor next to the parking lot. There are underground and above-ground parking lots, and free parking. The room is clean, tidy and bright, and can be controlled intelligently. The view is great and the service is very considerate. After checking in, if you want to go out, just report the license plate number, which is also free. Xiao Liu's service is good, and he gave us a breakfast buffet. The breakfast is delicious. I will come again next time👍🏻"

"I'm a local from Shenyang, and for Qixi Festival, I wanted to try something different. This time, I booked a Horizon Club Garden View Room at Shangri-La. The view was fantastic, and in the evening, I could even take a stroll in Youth Park downstairs. The hotel's location is excellent; it connects directly to Kerry Centre Shopping Mall and MixC City underground, making shopping 🛍️ and dining incredibly convenient. **Ambiance:** Shangri-La has a classic, slightly dated feel in its traditional Chinese decor, but it still exudes a stately and comfortable elegance. **Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean and tidy. I didn't find any neglected spots in the room. **Facilities:** While the in-room facilities are a bit dated, the bedding, in particular, was uncomfortable for me. The standard pillows were very soft, and the mattress was also quite soft, which didn't provide enough support for a comfortable sleep. This can be easily resolved by requesting latex or buckwheat pillows from the front desk, or asking to remove the feather topper from the mattress. (I personally prefer a combination of firm and soft elements for bedding.) Overall, it was acceptable. The hotel's swimming pool is heated. I had researched it before checking in, so I brought my swimsuit. It wasn't crowded, the water was very clean, and the lifeguard was constantly by the poolside, very dedicated. My partner and I swam 30 laps on the day we checked in – it was fantastic. **Service:** The service was incredibly attentive. I arrived before 1 PM, and since there was a vacant room, they arranged for me to check in immediately. Although it was a connecting room, it was very quiet at night and didn't disturb my sleep. However, if available, I would still try to avoid connecting rooms. Since I booked an executive floor room, I had access to the 30th-floor executive lounge. I'm not an elite member, but the overall service and hospitality were excellent and thoughtful. They offer soft drinks and snacks throughout the day. The afternoon tea is simple, with soft drinks and some light bites, but sitting by the window on the 30th floor with its expansive view and relaxing is a truly pleasant experience. The evening Happy Hour can also be quite satisfying if your expectations aren't too high, offering hot and cold dishes, along with alcoholic beverages. Now for the highlight: the Horizon Club breakfast was truly something to look forward to! The à la carte menu offered high-quality dishes, and as a foodie, I was absolutely delighted. It's more distinctive than a standard five-star breakfast. I would definitely return just for this breakfast!"

"The hotel is very good, the room is quite large, the dressing room is independent, and the curtains are remote controlled. But the facilities are indeed a bit outdated. Although some intelligent settings have been added later, the furniture is still relatively old. For example, the mirror in the bathroom is scratched and the hair dryer is old. But the health services are very good. The stay was very comfortable. The breakfast is also good. There is a small naughty castle in the restaurant where children can play after dinner without delaying the adults' meals. The restaurant and lobby are decorated in a grand style, with low traffic, and the experience is very good. It is very close to Shenfei and Beiling Park. You can get a shared scooter when you go out and the kids can ride it to visit. It is very happy. High cost performance, worth recommending."

"Traveling to Shenyang with my kids during the National Day holiday, The Westin Hotel was an absolute must-stay! We checked into an executive suite. The hotel was quiet and clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. A special shout-out to Luna from the Executive Lounge 🥰. I also loved the hotel's happy hour; every time I saw Luna, she was so enthusiastic. We were a little sad to leave. If I get the chance to visit Shenyang again in the future, I'll definitely be staying at The Westin Shenyang again."

"We arrived around noon, and as we had elders and children with us, we planned to quickly park at the hotel entrance and grab a bite. However, we were told parking at the entrance required a fee. Since it was too hot to park outside, we opted for the lobby entrance, which, along with the basement, also charged 10 yuan an hour. We parked for about 75 minutes while we ate and ended up paying 20 yuan. The lobby being on the 10th floor was incredibly inconvenient. The elevators were always crowded and slow, which was really annoying. The restaurant's food was very mediocre. Many guests were constantly sneezing over the food without covering their mouths, which was truly disgusting. I also couldn't understand why a five-star hotel would use plastic cutlery; it was worse than a three-star hotel's restaurant. The bread was also very stale. We stayed in a suite. There was a musty smell when sitting on the sofa, and the hygiene was just average, perhaps due to its age. Many people find it luxurious, but personally, I thought it was tacky. The shower only had an overhead rain shower, with no handheld option, which was very inconvenient for the elderly, though fine for younger people. I also found it quite intrusive that hotel staff came to clean our room so early in the morning. The hotel shares an underground parking lot with the Marriott. If you park on the Marriott side, you have to take the stairs up to the lobby. Plus, the parking lot was crowded and dirty. So, driving here is really inconvenient. Perhaps staying at the Marriott or the nearby Hilton would be better. However, I must acknowledge that the staff were quite good. They were helpful in resolving issues and had excellent attitudes."
