The location is excellent, very close to the Bada Scenic Area, just a ten-minute drive away. A ten-minute walk in the other direction leads to Shengcun Village, where you'll find some local restaurants. There's also a market outside the hotel on Saturdays. Parking in the hotel courtyard is very convenient. We booked a wooden cabin, which was very spacious. Besides the heating, it even had electric blankets! Winters in the southern mountains can be damp, and the electric blankets immediately kept the bedding dry. The bathroom also had a separate heating system, and the showerhead was very comfortable. The room had a refrigerator, and complimentary drinks and instant noodles were provided, which we appreciated even though we didn't eat them. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, and there was even a coffee machine. Every staff member, from the front desk to the restaurant, was very welcoming and provided excellent service. The location is unbeatable. The room rate is essentially paying for a VIP box seat to watch the sunrise over the terraced fields, which is a relief for anyone who's had to fight for a good spot. There are two tea rooms and one restaurant, so the public spaces are plentiful. The room isn't huge, but the amenities are complete. I really liked the square table, it was great for putting things on. They provided 6 bottles of water. My only complaints are that the sink drains slowly, there was a strange odor coming from the bathroom, and the towels were a bit small. The food in the restaurant was just average.

The hotel is probably owned by a local state-owned enterprise. It has a very high floor. However, the attitude of the waiter who just entered the door and went through the formalities was very average. Could it be that the current front desk staff just takes the ID card, gives the room card, and tells the breakfast time and the location of the restaurant? , that’s it, nothing else was said, nothing about hotel Wi-Fi or anything like that. Alas, the training was not in place. If it weren’t for seeing the rice terraces, I wouldn’t have chosen this city to live.
