"The place is very worth visiting. The room is good equipped, everything is like on the photo. The host and stuff is very friendly by helping with luggage but the international tourists should be aware that the communication with host is available only be telephone in Chinese. It is necessary even for check-in and check-out. It can be not so easy. We were expected to get a little bit more information but you can get help only if you approach the host directly. It is easier to arrive because there are a lot of cars on the station in Xinjie, but it is more complicated to get back to the station. But it is possible to catch a car directly on the road for 30-40 yuan pro person. There are only few restaurants in the walking distance. A lot depends on the weather, without good weather the view is sadly very limited. Before arriving is recommended to take a look in the weather forecast!!"

"We traveled from Puzhehei to Yuanyang. By the time we reached the mountaintop hotel, the fog was getting thicker, so we didn't get to see the full panoramic view of the hotel. There's a gravel path in front of the hotel where you can park. **Service:** The hotel staff proactively helped us with our luggage, and the front desk was very welcoming. After checking in, they even gave us recommendations for visiting the various rice terraces, including the best viewing times and special features. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and they even had seating with terrace views, which was a nice touch. However, dinner was much less impressive; not only was it expensive, but the taste was also just mediocre. **Facilities:** The room was very spacious and high-quality, with complete amenities and good cleanliness. The bed was soft and comfortable. Our room had a balcony, but it didn't have a view. We also received welcome fruit and bedtime milk, which was a thoughtful gesture. **Environment:** The hotel is a moderate distance from the various rice terrace attractions, making it convenient to drive to. The roads can be a bit narrow, and it's easy to get stuck in traffic near the attractions, so be sure to plan your timing carefully. The room price is reasonable, offering good value for money. "The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Aicun village, with the Blue Terraces just downstairs. There's also a rapeseed flower field directly below the guesthouse, offering direct access to the terraces through the flower fields. It's not far from the Hadaipu observation deck and Azheke village, both within walking distance. If you don't feel like walking, there's a village shuttle bus for 10 yuan per person round trip. The guesthouse also offers ethnic costumes for photo ops, which is a nice touch."

"If you are going to Honghe rice terraces, there is only ONE place you should consider staying in. Jacky's Guesthouse. First: location. The hotel is in the Duoyishu village, which will help you see average life of people living in that village. More that that, the guesthouse is right in front of Duoyishu rice terraces, so you can watch the sunrise from your roof. I have watched the sunrise from both my roof and the official viewing spot, and the viewing experience from the roof was so much more comfortable and good, because there are always a lot of people at the viewing spot, but there is only you on the roof. And the view is almost the same. The rice terraces are 5 minutes from the guesthouse, so anyone can go explore them an then come back home. Second: staff and services. The main hall is suuuper beautiful and cozy and you can order there food even quite late. The food was very tasty and not expensive. Jacky is one of the best people you will ever meet. He speaks English very well and he is very warmhearted and chill. He helped me a lot when I was living there and will help you too, so I strongly recommend you choose this guesthouse"

"This guesthouse boasts an excellent location for viewing the Duoyishu Rice Terraces. After staying for two days and comparing numerous guesthouses along the Duoyishu Terraces, I can confidently say this one has a large and well-positioned viewing deck. I highly recommend it for anyone planning to catch the sunrise at the Duoyishu viewing platform. You won't need to rush there early and battle crowds; instead, you can leisurely photograph the sunrise right from the guesthouse's deck. Duoyishu Terraces are often foggy, and sunrises can be elusive, so it's a good idea to check the weather forecast beforehand. If it's foggy, you can simply wait comfortably in your room for the sun to break through before heading down. The guesthouse is built into the hillside, so cars can't drive directly to the entrance. While there's a parking lot, it's a short walk from there to the guesthouse. The hostess will meet you with an electric scooter to help with your luggage, so I'd advise packing light. The owners are a local couple; the husband cooks and the wife handles guests, and they are both very friendly. The room insulation could be better, but overall, its minor flaws are easily overlooked. Recommended!"

"If you're visiting Yuanyang for the rice terraces and have plenty of time, I highly recommend staying at Azheke Original Homestay, right within the terraces. We were there for two days, and each morning was incredibly foggy. Waking up felt like being in a celestial wonderland amongst the clouds. The food here is also exceptionally delicious 😋 – fresh ingredients, unique cooking, and great value for money. The butler service is excellent too; they contact you a few days beforehand to confirm details. From Duoyishu Aizhepu, you can see the colorful terraces from above. The hotel's panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the lower colorful terraces. Since the hotel is located within an ancient village, there's about a 5-minute walk from the car park to the hotel. We packed our luggage into soft bags beforehand for our two-day stay, and the Hani sisters from the hotel were there to help carry them."

"[Love] This time I brought my parents and children to Yuanyang to see the terraces. I picked a long time before I left. I finally chose Yunshang Putian. I really felt that I chose the right one. Knowing that we took the elderly and children, we took the initiative to introduce us to several free niche attractions, saying that we don't have to go to crowded paid attractions, those locations are better to take pictures, and we also told us the road map in detail. Follow the route recommended by the boss, and there are few people in Jingmei, saving a lot of ticket money, and avoiding the tour group army. [Love] There is no need to worry about eating. The boss cooks home-cooked dishes at home, and the taste is absolutely amazing. Our three meals are basically solved at the homestay. "The room was clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a small terraced field. Thanks to the underfloor heating, the room wasn't damp at all and felt warm. For breakfast, you could choose between Chinese and Western styles; I went with the Chinese rice noodles, which tasted great. The service was excellent too. The only minor drawback was a slight odor in the bathroom. You couldn't smell it in the room when the glass door was closed, but it was quite strong when opened. Hopefully, they can look into that."
