After checking in, they even gave us recommendations for visiting the various rice terraces, including the best viewing times and special features. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and they even had seating with terrace views, which was a nice touch. However, dinner was much less impressive; not only was it expensive, but the taste was also just mediocre. **Facilities:** The room was very spacious and high-quality, with complete amenities and good cleanliness. The bed was soft and comfortable. Our room had a balcony, but it didn't have a view. We also received welcome fruit and bedtime milk, which was a thoughtful gesture. **Environment:** The hotel is a moderate distance from the various rice terrace attractions, making it convenient to drive to. The roads can be a bit narrow, and it's easy to get stuck in traffic near the attractions, so be sure to plan your timing carefully. The room price is reasonable, offering good value for money. Highly recommend to everyone!"

"The location is unbeatable. The room rate is essentially paying for a VIP box seat to watch the sunrise over the terraced fields, which is a relief for anyone who's had to fight for a good spot. There are two tea rooms and one restaurant, so the public spaces are plentiful. The room isn't huge, but the amenities are complete. I really liked the square table, it was great for putting things on. They provided 6 bottles of water. My only complaints are that the sink drains slowly, there was a strange odor coming from the bathroom, and the towels were a bit small. The food in the restaurant was just average."

"The room was clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a small terraced field. Thanks to the underfloor heating, the room wasn't damp at all and felt warm. For breakfast, you could choose between Chinese and Western styles; I went with the Chinese rice noodles, which tasted great. The service was excellent too. The only minor drawback was a slight odor in the bathroom. You couldn't smell it in the room when the glass door was closed, but it was quite strong when opened. Hopefully, they can look into that."

"The hotel is architecturally beautiful, with a good location that offers some view of the terraces. However, due to unkempt vegetation, majority of the promised views have become obscured. Can still walk to the nearby public viewing platform 200m away for a better view. Service crew is prompt and tries to be as accommodating as possible. Have to understand that Yuanyang itself is a remote rural area with few buildings. For meals, there is no food delivery unlike other touristy areas. But, the hotel kitchen whips up very satisfying home cooked menu using fresh produce at an affordable price. We enjoyed the crispest and most delicious plate of stir fried cabbages here. More on the food, they do less oil less salt options that are still incredibly tasty and easier on a foreigner palette. Breakfast was simple and tried to focus on natural flavours of the produce, also meaning it had toddler friendly options."

"If you are going to Honghe rice terraces, there is only ONE place you should consider staying in. Jacky's Guesthouse. First: location. The hotel is in the Duoyishu village, which will help you see average life of people living in that village. More that that, the guesthouse is right in front of Duoyishu rice terraces, so you can watch the sunrise from your roof. I have watched the sunrise from both my roof and the official viewing spot, and the viewing experience from the roof was so much more comfortable and good, because there are always a lot of people at the viewing spot, but there is only you on the roof. And the view is almost the same. The rice terraces are 5 minutes from the guesthouse, so anyone can go explore them an then come back home. Second: staff and services. The main hall is suuuper beautiful and cozy and you can order there food even quite late. The food was very tasty and not expensive. Jacky is one of the best people you will ever meet. He speaks English very well and he is very warmhearted and chill. He helped me a lot when I was living there and will help you too, so I strongly recommend you choose this guesthouse"

The shocking photo couldn't be taken. Mom and Dad said, just rush to this terrace, this trip is worth it. The boss is a local, especially enthusiastic. As soon as we arrived, the proprietress bought fruit for us to eat. Knowing that we took the elderly and children, we took the initiative to introduce us to several free niche attractions, saying that we don't have to go to crowded paid attractions, those locations are better to take pictures, and we also told us the road map in detail. Follow the route recommended by the boss, and there are few people in Jingmei, saving a lot of ticket money, and avoiding the tour group army. [Love] There is no need to worry about eating. "The guesthouse has a good location with views of rice terraces from the window. The hotel provides luggage pickup and drop-off service from the parking lot and helps carry your luggage upstairs. The hotel offers complimentary coffee and small cakes. Dinner is provided if you don't want to go out in the evening; the mushroom and chicken soup was quite good. However, the bathroom in the room only has a white curtain and no door. The toilet is very noisy, which could easily disturb your companion's sleep if someone uses it at night. There were no tea-making tools provided. There were noticeable black marks on the wall. A wall next to the twin room on the terrace somewhat obstructs the view. The coffee was mediocre; the Americano was very bland, and the price was close to Starbucks. For a room costing nearly 1300 yuan, the facilities and cleanliness were somewhat disappointing."
