4-Star Hotels in Strasbourg

The location is good, just across the bridge is the Notre Dame Cathedral. However, if you drive by yourself, only licensed vehicles can enter the area near the hotel. It is renovated on a historical building. The exposed wooden building is very unique and the experience is good. Although there is no elevator, there are staff who take the initiative to help carry luggage upstairs. Street parking in Strasbourg is very expensive, 3.5 euros an hour; hotel parking lot 30 euros a day; the hotel introduced a nearby parking lot, parking for about 16 hours, 16 euros.

Everything was excellent! Great location, right in the heart of everything, yet quiet. The staff were very, very friendly, and many spoke Spanish. The bed and pillow were fantastic, and the bathroom was very comfortable and clean. Thank you!

Location is good for driving into Strasbourg. Ample of free parking around it in a safe neighborhood. Easy to get to city centre with the team. Clean and sufficient studio unit. Had a cosy stay. Breakfast can be better though.

The room facilities are a bit outdated and the elevator is very small and can only accommodate 2 people and 2 boxes. The room faces the street. What's particularly surprising is that the room also has a balcony, where you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the street view.

One of the strangest hotel I stayed. I've visited 21 European Country so far, but this hotel was quite different from the previous ones. Firstly, the check-in process was annoying. The woman in the reception told us that we would not be able to have the key of the apartment before 3 pm, which had been officially anounced. That was understandable. However, the woman at the reception could have been more polite. Furthermore, they asked us to fill out a form although she had already asked our personal information. There was no air conditioning at the reception desk but we had to spend time over there despite the extremely hot weather. After 3 pm, more than 10 people were waiting in front of the desk in order to collect the key of the apartments (havasız küçücük bir alanda)... Finally, it was our turn, they told us that we had to pay a deposit for 50€ (if we break anything in the apartment) and they told us this can happen. Ok, maybe it happened before but although I stayed in apartments more than 8-10 times (in different European countries), I've never encountered a policy like this. Apparently, they came up with a ”genius” policy that no other apartment I have stayed in across Europe has ever had. As a bonus, there is a sign inside the room: ”if you forget to clean the kitchen, we charge you with 15€”... Also, inside the room, there was no enough rack to put our luggages on.. Even if the room was clean, and the location was good enough, this apartment/hotel will be a place I never want to stay again...

This is a difficult hotel to review. The rooms we originally booked did not match the rooms that we were allocated. I understand that the hotel is an old building with a variety of styles of rooms, but the advertising is very misleading. With the help of the wonderful gentleman at the front desk, Noam(?), we shared our complaint and were given different rooms that were much better. Noam went above and beyond to make us feel accommodated and welcome throughout our stay. One thing to note is that the property doesn’t have USB charging points, so you will need an adapter. Finally, we did have a fire alarm that was very laissez faire (I ran down the WOODEN fire escape stairs in my socks to find the hotel staff (an older gentleman) not really doing a lot - and not really explaining what was going on) and the fire escape had A LOT of cleaning supplies and furniture that in a real situation would have cost lives - I do think this is something the property needs to rectify immediately.

This hotel is located inside a shopping mall with a supermarket and cafes...;thus, very convenient. There is a water system for guests to refill their bottles with cold filtered water which is a fantastic feature! There is an affordable bicycle rental nearby as well which is great for a short bike trip. The breakfast was good on the first day but the same exact items were served every single day. The chef can be slightly more creative and change an item or two. For example, instead of falafels everyday, maybe potatoes. There were lots of people working but still the peanut jars, honey jars and food plates were often empty with guests asking for refills. Except for the breakfast, everything was good at this Novotel. PS. Air-Con in rooms and hotel were excellent.

The location is good. There are many restaurants nearby and a short walk to petite-france. It is a challenge to drive though. As we didn't know there's a need to make a reservation for parking, we got to park somewhere nearby and a walking distance away. Also, google Maps does not bring you to the front of the hotel, needs to do an illegal turn to get to the front of the hotel to unload luggage.

Nicely located best the train station and with the city center 10 minutes by foot. The hotel itself could use some renovation, it seemed old but okay for a short stay. As for the room, at first I was offered a wheelchair room, which had small windows, twin beds, was not cozy at all, and also lacked shower chair. So I asked to be provided with a superior studio that I initially booked :) The room was spacious, with double bed, mini kitchen, washing machine, fridge, dishes and some kitchen utensils. It was enough for a short stay. The one thing that surprised me was that toilet and bathroom were separated in different corners of the apartment: toilet at the entrance door, and bathroom next to the bed, so you need to turn around three corners to wash your hands 🤪 But the staff was helpful and overall I was satisfied with my stay. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The hotel is very well located, right in the city center, very close to the oldest cathedral in the world and just a few minutes from the train station. The rooms were very clean, the staff friendly and welcoming, and the value for money excellent. We were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this hotel.
