4-Star Hotels in Strasbourg

One of the nicest value-for-money stays in Strasbourg. Modern rooms, great locations, and an easy walk to both the station and Petite France. Not quite in the heart of the old town, but close enough while being quieter and less touristy.

Everything was excellent! Great location, right in the heart of everything, yet quiet. The staff were very, very friendly, and many spoke Spanish. The bed and pillow were fantastic, and the bathroom was very comfortable and clean. Thank you!

One of the strangest hotel I stayed. I've visited 21 European Country so far, but this hotel was quite different from the previous ones. Firstly, the check-in process was annoying. The woman in the reception told us that we would not be able to have the key of the apartment before 3 pm, which had been officially anounced. That was understandable. However, the woman at the reception could have been more polite. Furthermore, they asked us to fill out a form although she had already asked our personal information. There was no air conditioning at the reception desk but we had to spend time over there despite the extremely hot weather. After 3 pm, more than 10 people were waiting in front of the desk in order to collect the key of the apartments (havasız küçücük bir alanda)... Finally, it was our turn, they told us that we had to pay a deposit for 50€ (if we break anything in the apartment) and they told us this can happen. Ok, maybe it happened before but although I stayed in apartments more than 8-10 times (in different European countries), I've never encountered a policy like this. Apparently, they came up with a ”genius” policy that no other apartment I have stayed in across Europe has ever had. As a bonus, there is a sign inside the room: ”if you forget to clean the kitchen, we charge you with 15€”... Also, inside the room, there was no enough rack to put our luggages on.. Even if the room was clean, and the location was good enough, this apartment/hotel will be a place I never want to stay again...

What a fantastic hotel! I was genuinely surprised and delighted when I saw my room upon check-in. I had requested a quiet room and ended up with a corner room, which offered an amazing view from its corner windows. The warm sunlight streaming onto the corner sofa made for a super comfortable spot to relax and soak up the rays. The room design was very well thought out, and surprisingly, the bathroom featured a three-part separation (toilet, shower, and sink are separated). There was even a full cart for making hot water and coffee. It felt quite luxurious! The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and frequently checked in to see how my stay was going. It truly was a surprisingly delightful experience. The location is also excellent; just over 200 meters away, there's a tram stop, and a few stops will take you right to the city center. It's perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle of the central area. Highly recommend!

The hygiene is OK, and the bed in the room is quite comfortable. The design of the bathroom is a bit strange, but it is no problem to use it. The room is a little small, but the space design is quite reasonable, so it is not a problem to spread out the suitcases. The good thing is that the club has a relatively large business area and lounge area, and you can go in at any time to have some drinks, coffee, and snacks. There are few types, but it is better than nothing~ The nearby parking lot needs to walk for six or seven minutes. The hotel has a preferential price. You need to ask the hotel for a coupon before checking out

This hotel is located inside a shopping mall with a supermarket and cafes...;thus, very convenient. There is a water system for guests to refill their bottles with cold filtered water which is a fantastic feature! There is an affordable bicycle rental nearby as well which is great for a short bike trip. The breakfast was good on the first day but the same exact items were served every single day. The chef can be slightly more creative and change an item or two. For example, instead of falafels everyday, maybe potatoes. There were lots of people working but still the peanut jars, honey jars and food plates were often empty with guests asking for refills. Except for the breakfast, everything was good at this Novotel. PS. Air-Con in rooms and hotel were excellent.

This is a difficult hotel to review. The rooms we originally booked did not match the rooms that we were allocated. I understand that the hotel is an old building with a variety of styles of rooms, but the advertising is very misleading. With the help of the wonderful gentleman at the front desk, Noam(?), we shared our complaint and were given different rooms that were much better. Noam went above and beyond to make us feel accommodated and welcome throughout our stay. One thing to note is that the property doesn’t have USB charging points, so you will need an adapter. Finally, we did have a fire alarm that was very laissez faire (I ran down the WOODEN fire escape stairs in my socks to find the hotel staff (an older gentleman) not really doing a lot - and not really explaining what was going on) and the fire escape had A LOT of cleaning supplies and furniture that in a real situation would have cost lives - I do think this is something the property needs to rectify immediately.

The hotel was very good and satisfactory. We stayed here while attending a conference, and the breakfast was generally quite good, though the housekeeping seemed a bit unenthusiastic about their cleaning schedule.

Nicely located best the train station and with the city center 10 minutes by foot. The hotel itself could use some renovation, it seemed old but okay for a short stay. As for the room, at first I was offered a wheelchair room, which had small windows, twin beds, was not cozy at all, and also lacked shower chair. So I asked to be provided with a superior studio that I initially booked :) The room was spacious, with double bed, mini kitchen, washing machine, fridge, dishes and some kitchen utensils. It was enough for a short stay. The one thing that surprised me was that toilet and bathroom were separated in different corners of the apartment: toilet at the entrance door, and bathroom next to the bed, so you need to turn around three corners to wash your hands 🤪 But the staff was helpful and overall I was satisfied with my stay. The hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, and the rooms are spacious. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The location is perfect, right in the center of Strasbourg – 5/5. However, unfortunately, our room was street-facing, and it was a real sound nightmare: the tram passes right by and stops in front of our window. The noise is constant, as if we were next to an airport. For a 4-star hotel, this is unacceptable. The poor soundproofing makes the stay very difficult and prevents us from enjoying Strasbourg. Sleeping is impossible with all this noise, at least for me, which is a real shame. This 1* (which is already too much) is for the night noise; for everything else, I'd give it 5*. If you're a deep sleeper, this hotel is really good, but otherwise, I absolutely do not recommend it.
