4-Star Hotels in Te Anau

The surrounding environment is wonderful. I think I was comfortable at home. Hotel people are kind. It is hotel which we want to use on the next time.

We spent one night, having driven down from Wanaka and intending to continue to the Milford Sound tour the following day. Donna was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed and were comfortable. The history of the building was fascinating, and the antique decor and trinkets added to the charm. Breakfast the following morning was great- wonderful scrambled eggs. Thank you!

This hotel was a perfect place to stay the night before heading to Milford Sound. The owner is Chinese, and in the quiet town of Te Anau, he felt incredibly friendly. We departed from Queenstown that evening and arrived after our 8 PM check-in time. After contacting Ctrip customer service, the front desk responded quickly. Upon arrival, the owner had thoughtfully printed a note on the desk, and the room was immaculately clean. The drive to the sound takes two hours, and there's a self-service gas station nearby, making it very convenient for refueling before departure and back in Queenstown. Overall, the stay was excellent.

Really clean, comfortable stay, with everything you could need for a pleasurable stay in Te Anau. Receptionist was super helpful

This hotel is not recommended: 1. As a hotel located in Ti'anau, the entire hotel has more than ten parking spaces. The parking spaces have to be grabbed. I don't know if I thought it was in Queenstown. 2. The door lock is very old and difficult to open. At the beginning, I couldn't open the door after taking the key. I must open the lock at the same time + the door to push inside to open it. 3. The price is not cheap, the price is more than 900, the village inn next door is less than 800, and the so-called lake view room is also covered by the roof on the first floor of their house.
