Mountain View Hotels in Te Anau

The surrounding environment is wonderful. I think I was comfortable at home. Hotel people are kind. It is hotel which we want to use on the next time.

Our family enjoyed our two days stay on this cosy small town on the visit to Milford Sound Cruise . We had the opportunity to taste local NZ foods without much disappointment. The minus point was we booked for 3 single beds room but was given 1 queen and 1 single , not matching the product description.

I would have given this a 5-star rating. However, I deducted one star due to staff behaviour and a fire alarm that went off at 5:00 a.m., requiring guests to evacuate the hotel. Additionally, the staff could benefit from some customer service training, particularly in showing warmth and empathy toward guests. When we visited the front desk at 12:30 p.m. to enquire about an early check-in, the staff member was not at all understanding or accommodating. She bluntly say “No” and kept looking at her monitor without any reason.
