Amazing
NNetalkarI recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Muscat and had a truly fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.
A special mention goes to Gowtham from Room Service – he was incredibly courteous, prompt, and attentive to every detail. His professionalism and warm attitude really made a difference during my stay.At the hotel restaurant, I was equally impressed by the service. In breakfast Bhavesh and Kunal stood out with their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality. They made every meal feel special with their attentiveness and helpful recommendations. We wanted to try restaurants but we were short of time .
The hotel itself is beautiful in amazing place – with stunning views, clean and spacious rooms, and great amenities. But it’s truly the people like Gowtham, Bhavesh and Kunal and other staff who make Crowne Plaza Muscat such a memorable place to stay.
Highly recommended, and I look forward to coming back!
Thank you .
DDanielle WangI was on a business trip to muscut, this time only for one day. Because the king-size suite I booked was sold out, I was upgraded to a 3-bedroom suite. Everything in the room was fine. The living room was very big (Picture 2). The only difference was that the bathroom didn't have a bathtub. 🛁 In addition, the hotel is still applying for approval for the SPA, so it's a little regretful that there is no SPA at this time. The service was very good. The attitude and service of the lady at the front desk were super good. I was very happy because I rented a car myself. The B3 floor downstairs of the hotel is a parking space for guests staying in the hotel (Picture 1). At night, I also sat for a while at the rooftop swimming pool shisha bar (video). It was very comfortable when the weather was not too hot. Although there was no particularly amazing view, you could still see cars coming and going.
GGuest UserHotel is nice. It is close to the airport - about 10-15 min by taxi. The rooftop was open 24/7 so we used the sitting area to drink tea and talk with the friends in the evening - amazing experience. The pool is also in the roof, though has not so much space near the pool to sit. Overall nice experience. Breakfast was fine and had all the things you expect at 3 star hotel.
AAnya26I don't think our floors were cleaned even once during our 5-day stay at the hotel. The bedsheets haven't been changed too. The housekeeping staff had been reusing the same towel for the bathroom floor for the whole five days, and by the end of our trip it was looking really dirty.
The other big issue is noise. Our room was on the third floor and the windows were facing the cafe down below, where they kept blasting music until up to 2am.
The dinner buffet, for some reason, only had plain water as a drink option. I don't think that providing at least some soft drinks or juices is that expensive for a four-star hotel that is a part of the Marriott hotel chain, especially for the price of 11 OMR per person.
On the positive note, the hotel personnel were exceptionally nice and helpful, and they completed all of our requests in a timely manner. We also found the interior design to be quite pleasant. The blackout curtains in the room did an excellent job at blocking out the bright sun in the morning. The pool is really good as well.
GGuest UserThe hotel is quite a distance from the city center and not particularly close to the airport either. However, the hotel's facilities and overall environment are very good; it's clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff were also very friendly. The only drawback was that the buffet options were quite uninspired. Furthermore, there are no dining options nearby, and the area feels quite isolated.
YYeMy stay at IntercityHotel Bawshar was truly wonderful — it felt like a little home away from home. The location couldn’t have been better, with so many major tourist spots just minutes away, making exploring the area easy and stress-free. What really stood out to me was the warmth and kindness of the staff. From the moment I stepped in, the reception team greeted me with genuine smiles, the security staff made me feel safe, and the housekeeping quietly took care of everything so my room was always spotless.
Dining at the Gourmet House was a real highlight — the food was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant staff always made me feel welcome, like I was a valued guest rather than just a customer. After long days of sightseeing, unwinding by the clean, refreshing pool or hitting the gym felt like the perfect way to recharge. Overall, my time at IntercityHotel Bawshar was both relaxing and enjoyable. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly place to stay with great amenities and a warm atmosphere.
GGuest UserThe service is good. But if you have traveled by your car, you will have to carry your own luggage by stairs from car parking basement for 1 floor. Limited Indian food variety but thank to other Indian restaurants around since the hotel is located at a prime location. 10 on 10 to all the staff.
GGuest UserHotel location was great in the middle of everywhere. Furniture was well maintained beds were comfy. Swimming pool was small but my kids enjoyed it. The only disadvantage was staff. We only sow the lady for check in honestly she was polite but no welcoming no one to help with baggage no one in the reception most of the time. House keeping was horrible they don’t change linens even it was dirty and torn. I had to call them to change it. The carpet was wet and they didn’t do anything even they don’t clean tables. Price was reasonable for the location only and having connected rooms was great for my children.
