GGuest UserOverall, nice place to stay.
Loved the quirkiness deco of the hotel.
Had a late afternoon flight, so was allowed extended check-out.
A good variety for breakfast and helpful/attentive staff.
It is not the high end of the Bonvoy experience, one would expect from the likes of JW Marriot and Ritz Carlton, however, I think couple of things could have been better thought.
The bathroom layout is rather weird, with the tap knob found opposite to where the shower heads are, under the clothes/towel racks!
Would have expected hairdryer in the rooms and face towel to wipe around the sink.
Noticed a faint lingering toilet smell, even with constant flushing and hosing, maybe due to no extractor present.
For a hotel brand that promotes environmental sustainability, I would not expect take away cups in the rooms!
I would still recommend the hotel for short stays.
GGuest UserMy stay at IntercityHotel Bawshar was truly wonderful — it felt like a little home away from home. The location couldn’t have been better, with so many major tourist spots just minutes away, making exploring the area easy and stress-free. What really stood out to me was the warmth and kindness of the staff. From the moment I stepped in, the reception team greeted me with genuine smiles, the security staff made me feel safe, and the housekeeping quietly took care of everything so my room was always spotless.
Dining at the Gourmet House was a real highlight — the food was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant staff always made me feel welcome, like I was a valued guest rather than just a customer. After long days of sightseeing, unwinding by the clean, refreshing pool or hitting the gym felt like the perfect way to recharge. Overall, my time at IntercityHotel Bawshar was both relaxing and enjoyable. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly place to stay with great amenities and a warm atmosphere.
Vvivian0229Great location, with plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, there's a Lulu exchange shop right across the street, which is super convenient for changing money and has good rates.
I had an unpleasant experience, though it wasn't entirely the hotel's fault. I arrived close to 2 AM. I had booked a twin room, but the hotel said the order they received from Trip.com's agent was for a king-size bed. They wanted to charge me 10 OMR per night to add an extra bed. Trip.com eventually covered this cost, but it still meant I wasn't settled until almost 3 AM…
The breakfast was quite varied.
The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, and the bedding didn't feel as crisp and dry as I'd have liked…
GGuest UserThe hotel arranged a taxi for me, but it was much more expensive compared to the one I took from the airport. I also found the food prices to be quite high. Overall, the stay was fine, but I felt that the transportation and dining charges could be more reasonable.
Ddm_sI booked one twin room and one king room, requesting quiet rooms close to each other. When checking in, the female receptionist gave me a twin room on the sixth floor and a king room on the third floor. The twin room had a lot of equipment noise. After complaining, they moved me to the room across the hall, but when I walked in, it was a king room... They clearly had twin and king rooms close together, so I don't know why they didn't give them to me initially. 🙄
The third-floor room was quiet at first, but then at 6 AM the next morning, the construction site across the street started up. The hotel didn't even seem full, so I don't know why all the rooms they assigned were facing the construction. 😤
I saw a laundry room listed in the amenities, and after searching for a while, I found two washing machines on the fifth floor. They looked dirty, so I didn't dare use them.
The breakfast selection was quite limited, comparable to a budget hotel in China, and leaned towards Indian flavors.
Other staff members were friendly though. The room had a large water dispenser, but we didn't want to drink from it, and the staff promptly provided several bottles of drinking water, which was great. The room also had a microwave and some tableware.
Overall, it was just an alright stay for one night, and the bedding was comfortable.
Rronge****Originally booked the airport transfer hotel, the result was told that there was no boarding pass to enter the airport, and the luggage could be re-booked. I didn’t expect the room to be unexpectedly good, clean and tidy, very large, very close to the airport, about ten minutes drive, very convenient, very cost-effective
GGuest UserAfter a week-long cruise in Singapore, we were flying from Emirates to Oman Air to Muscat. Our original flight was canceled, leading to a 5-hour layover at Dubai airport, which left us extremely tired. Just a minute before landing, our plane was instructed by air traffic control to circle around due to other flights, causing a half-hour delay. Fortunately, the meet-and-greet service booked via Trip.com was excellent. Mr. Alaraimim met us in the final 5 minutes and reassured us not to worry, saying he knew about the delay and would definitely wait for us. In fact, he not only picked us up but also escorted us into the hotel and waited until our check-in was complete before leaving.
Upon hearing our story, the Radisson manager suggested we switch to a Tower 4 apartment suite, as it was more spacious and had a washing machine for laundry. There's also a supermarket next to the hotel where we could buy groceries and cook for ourselves. We accepted the suggestion. The manager personally escorted us from Tower 2 to Tower 4, showed us where to exchange currency in the underground mall, and even took us to our room to explain how to use the appliances. His enthusiasm was truly heartwarming. The other staff members were also friendly and polite. We are very grateful.
Breakfast is served on the ground floor of Tower 4. The space is elegant, and there's a good variety of food. Omelets and well-done fried eggs can be ordered and prepared on the spot.
GGuest UserHotel location was great in the middle of everywhere. Furniture was well maintained beds were comfy. Swimming pool was small but my kids enjoyed it. The only disadvantage was staff. We only sow the lady for check in honestly she was polite but no welcoming no one to help with baggage no one in the reception most of the time. House keeping was horrible they don’t change linens even it was dirty and torn. I had to call them to change it. The carpet was wet and they didn’t do anything even they don’t clean tables. Price was reasonable for the location only and having connected rooms was great for my children.
