"Nice clean hotel with lovely helpful staff, especially the maid service is excellent and the rooms are cleaned daily and given fresh towels, accessories , tea , water etc, only let down was the bathroom wash basin sink was the smallest ever seen lol. The breakfast is boring and is pretty much the same every morning and no hot food is served, There is hot soup, tea and coffee. However the hotel is great value for money and is in a great location to lots of shops and cafes and restaurants."

Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent. It's a relatively short downhill walk from Karakoy Metro Station (Line 2). Most of our travel needs were covered by trams and buses. The hotel is very close to Galata Tower, and there are many small restaurants nearby favored by locals. From our room, we could see the mosques and bridges of the Old City. While waiting to check-in, the hotel offered us a local specialty drink, sahlep. Our room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping was very prompt. The front desk staff, Setit Taha, was incredibly helpful, showing us the bus routes. Yusuf also assisted us by checking if the mosques were open for visits during Ramadan. These gestures made our trip a wonderful memory. Thank you very much!

GGuest UserI rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay at this hotel left me genuinely shocked. During my second night, another guest accessed my room in the middle of the night due to a clear failure in the hotel’s key card system. This was an extremely frightening experience, and the way the hotel handled it made everything worse. When I reported the incident, I expected a serious, urgent, and empathetic response. Instead, the service I received was dismissive and unprofessional. Below is the email the hotel sent me, which they seemed to consider an adequate explanation: Dear Guest, our property is a 4-star hotel operating under the supervision of the Turkish Ministry of Tourism, and all security measures are carefully implemented and regularly inspected. For the safety of our valued guests, our hotel is monitored and recorded by 123 security cameras. All of our staff members are employed only after completing the required security background checks. Additionally, from the moment our guests arrive at the hotel, their passport information is immediately reported to the relevant security authorities to ensure their safety is officially protected. What happened that the Card system we use made a mistake and marked the other guest card as a master, Our hotel manager is waiting the guest to talk and to solve it. We can offer You a free lunch at our hotel as an exuse for the situation or If you want to check out we can refund you the coming night fee Rather than acknowledging how serious it is that a stranger was able to walk into my room while I was sleeping, their message focused on general statements about their security and ended with an offer of a free lunch as compensation. A hotel’s most basic responsibility is ensuring guests feel safe in their rooms, and this property failed completely. The lack of accountability, urgency, and professionalism after such a severe security breach is unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice. Safety should never be a “card system mistake,” and certainly not one brushed off with a free meal.

GGuest UserHampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu: Genuine Smiles, Seamless Comfort, and Turkish Warmth After countless nights spent in hotels around the world, it takes something special for a property to truly stand out. My recent stay at the Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu did just that; not through extravagance or grand gestures, but through authentic hospitality and effortless comfort. This is the kind of place that quietly wins you over, one thoughtful interaction at a time. The Perfect Blend of Ease and Energy Location & Setting Zeytinburnu might not be the first name that comes to mind when travelers think of Istanbul, yet this area surprised me. It’s strategically positioned close enough to reach Sultanahmet and Taksim with ease, yet far enough to escape the tourist crowds. The hotel itself feels like an oasis of calm within the city’s heartbeat. Step outside, and you’re minutes from transportation links, local eateries, and the Marmara coastline. Design & Comfort The moment you step into your room, you sense Hilton’s signature attention to detail—simple, modern, and purposeful. My room was bright, immaculate, and well-designed for both rest and work. The bed offered the kind of support that makes long travel days melt away, and everything, from lighting to Wi-Fi, worked exactly as it should. Small touches, like perfectly laundered linens and crisp air quality, added a layer of comfort that felt quietly luxurious. Hospitality That Feels Personal While the property itself is well-maintained, what truly makes this hotel memorable are the people behind the front desk. Fatih Tuna and Ömer are two names I won’t forget anytime soon. Their professionalism is effortless, and their kindness feels completely natural; no rehearsed smiles, no scripted greetings. Whether it was assisting with directions, offering local dining suggestions, or simply greeting guests with warmth that instantly puts you at ease, both Fatih and Ömer demonstrated a level of hospitality that’s rare even among top-tier hotels. They are the kind of hosts who remind you that genuine service can transform an ordinary stay into a meaningful experience. It’s no exaggeration to say that they embody the best of Turkish warmth; courteous, humorous, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive. Breakfast & Shared Spaces Breakfast each morning felt more like a pleasant ritual than a hotel buffet. The spread was abundant and fresh, featuring local cheeses, eggs, fruit, pastries, and strong Turkish tea that was hard to resist. Staff managed the flow smoothly, keeping everything replenished while maintaining the sense of calm that regular travelers quietly crave. The public areas, especially the lobby, were clean, cozy, and inviting. Whether grabbing a quick coffee, catching up on emails, or chatting with staff, the space encouraged connection rather than mere transit. Small Note The only subtle reminder that you’re still in a lively city comes from occasional distant traffic or early-morning sounds from outside. It’s faint and fleeting, more of a whisper than a disturbance. For light sleepers, a higher floor or a room facing inward may be ideal. Lasting Impression What sets Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu apart isn’t luxury, it’s sincerity. In a world full of polished but impersonal hotels, this one manages to feel human. It’s clean, consistent, and comfortable, but more importantly, it feels caring. As someone who not only travels often but also recommends hotels to colleagues and friends across continents, this property easily earns a place among those I’ll be suggesting again. There’s something compelling about how smoothly everything runs here, and it makes you wonder how the experience might evolve across different seasons or longer stays. Because when a hotel makes you curious to return, that’s when you know they’ve done something right.

KKarsh TStayed 3 nights in this cozy hotel with friends, pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the hotel. Prime location, thus limited street parking but a 5 mins walk to Taksim square. Bathroom was quite small in comparison to the massive room as the door would block the toilet seat. Friendly English-speaking host, would recommend!

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at this hotel and liked its location. Staff are friendly and helpful and we appreciated the daily room cleaning and reset. The best feature of the hotel is that it is well situated to explore Istanbul and is about a 10 minute walk to the Sultanahmet Square where you will find many of the main attractions in Istanbul like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There is a tram line station very close to the hotel and it is a short walk to Sirkeci metro station. It was a good base for us as we checked out the areas across the water. It is a little far from both airports with each taking about 1.5 hours to get to but we felt the location was worth the time. The room's decor was a bit aged but charming. The beds were comfy and you can get extra pillows here. The room ran a bit warm during our stay but it was a bit noisy outside with frequent tram trains and restaurants below so we kept the window shut. They do have air conditioning and a radiator but we felt the AC wasn't worth turning on during a cool stay in December. Our neighbours were a bit noisy and it kept my wife up but I had no issues sleeping. It was moderately inconvenient when the restaurant decided to pop their new year's eve decorations at 1 in the morning. The bathroom was good and clean with good shower pressure, soft towels and we appreciated the warming rack for the towels. They provide soap and shampoo in dispensers in the shower. The breakfast was decent enough to start the day. They had enough to do a Turkish style breakfast and most options were pretty light. They had some hot items like sausage, scrambled eggs and other options that changed daily. They also had an area for cold items like cheese, labneh, yoghurt, vegetables and some cold cuts. They had a limited selection of fruit with some oranges and apples. They also had coffee, tea, juice and water. I had an early check out on my last day and they made me a nice bagged lunch to go to the airport with and have me a big can of juice which was very nice. The hotel provides bottled water for guests as well as lots of tea for in room use. The hotel has a restaurant on site and a small outdoor patio that is open for lunch, dinner and late dinner. They have some spa and massage treatments that you can book at the front desk. There are quite a few bath, restaurants, shops and other experiences nearby. People in the area are very friendly, welcoming and will invite you into their shop or restaurant...frequently.

RRimelissaOur check-in experience was absolutely dreadful. It was clear the front desk and a staff member were colluding, attempting to downgrade us to a twin room that was barely cleaned, stuffy, and had a foul odor, not to mention being 20 square meters smaller than what we'd reserved. We had to strongly insist before they finally gave us our booked room. All the while, they kept exchanging knowing glances, lying that the hotel was full and ridiculously claiming the inferior room was actually an upgrade. We saw right through their scam and absolutely refused to let them succeed. Only when they realized they couldn't fool us any longer did they reluctantly hand over the keys to our actual room. Thankfully, the barbecue restaurant downstairs was fantastic, and we even found some great dried apricots at the supermarket across the street.

GGuest UserBad experience staff were not so friendly or polite little rude at times. Apartment was not 5* the finishing touches were very poor! Plug sockets not working. No cooking equipment had to ask for fresh towels after 2 days. Major accident happened in shower where the glass door fell off and landed over my husband and cut him badly. No sorry or apologies moving room with zero help. Not impressed.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located very close to Istiklal street, and surprisingly close to Galata Tower. You can walk straight up the road and be at Galata Tower with 15 minutes. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are very nice and really helpful. The first day I was there, the shower in my room didn't work, and the tap was actually broken. They changed my room and helped me so quickly. Other than a window that didn't want to close, and an aircon that was on but not working, everything else went quite smoothly.
