Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is a three-storey house, coupled with a cafe outside (where the tastiest breakfast is served (thanks!)). My room was very nice, thought through, I really liked the oldish appearance of the house itself and the design of the room, wooden furniture and huge windows. Since the room was on the first floor and the windows were facing the cafe, it was a little noisy in the evenings, and I needed to pull down the curtains as well. The room had all the listed appliances (incl. a small fridge and a kettle) but I lacked a table, however I guess the room size does not allow for it. The main advantage for me was the location: I really love that district, walked around it a lot. There are two very pleasant parks that descend to Bosphorus (going down the slope is pretty easy), and there is Üsküdar dock nearby if you want to get to other parts of the city by ferry. The metro station is ±8-10 min away and there are shops and local restaurants around.
GGuest UserI had heard that many small hotels in Istanbul can look very different from their photos, and unfortunately some places use outdated or misleading pictures. I had seen many reviews online where guests were clearly disappointed.
However, Peri Hotel was absolutely not like that at all.
The hotel was exactly as shown in the photos, which was a very pleasant surprise.
The location is excellent — situated on a quiet street, yet only about 200 meters from Istiklal Street, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation.
The best part of my stay was the hotel owners. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely supportive, which made a huge difference during my stay.
Considering the price, I truly believe this hotel is one of the best choices in this historic area. Everything was excellent, and honestly, there was nothing negative to mention.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

GGuest UserThe location is super central, so you can easily walk everywhere. There's also good access to public transportation. If you're just looking for a hotel to sleep in, the Walton Hotel is a solid choice.

Very Good
GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at this hotel and liked its location. Staff are friendly and helpful and we appreciated the daily room cleaning and reset. The best feature of the hotel is that it is well situated to explore Istanbul and is about a 10 minute walk to the Sultanahmet Square where you will find many of the main attractions in Istanbul like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There is a tram line station very close to the hotel and it is a short walk to Sirkeci metro station. It was a good base for us as we checked out the areas across the water. It is a little far from both airports with each taking about 1.5 hours to get to but we felt the location was worth the time.
The room's decor was a bit aged but charming. The beds were comfy and you can get extra pillows here. The room ran a bit warm during our stay but it was a bit noisy outside with frequent tram trains and restaurants below so we kept the window shut. They do have air conditioning and a radiator but we felt the AC wasn't worth turning on during a cool stay in December. Our neighbours were a bit noisy and it kept my wife up but I had no issues sleeping. It was moderately inconvenient when the restaurant decided to pop their new year's eve decorations at 1 in the morning. The bathroom was good and clean with good shower pressure, soft towels and we appreciated the warming rack for the towels. They provide soap and shampoo in dispensers in the shower.
The breakfast was decent enough to start the day. They had enough to do a Turkish style breakfast and most options were pretty light. They had some hot items like sausage, scrambled eggs and other options that changed daily. They also had an area for cold items like cheese, labneh, yoghurt, vegetables and some cold cuts. They had a limited selection of fruit with some oranges and apples. They also had coffee, tea, juice and water. I had an early check out on my last day and they made me a nice bagged lunch to go to the airport with and have me a big can of juice which was very nice. The hotel provides bottled water for guests as well as lots of tea for in room use.
The hotel has a restaurant on site and a small outdoor patio that is open for lunch, dinner and late dinner. They have some spa and massage treatments that you can book at the front desk. There are quite a few bath, restaurants, shops and other experiences nearby. People in the area are very friendly, welcoming and will invite you into their shop or restaurant...frequently.

Very Good
GGuest UserIt is located about 10min from IST airport by taxi (~$15), very convenient for overnight stay for transfer at IST. Save a lot (well covered taxi and local dinner) compared with hotel right at IST airport. We stayed in panoramic double room, which is quite spacious and comfortable. There was some noise from traffic outside but quite bearable. The breakfast was good (Turkish style). The kebab restaurant next to it was also good. Overall, it was a reasonable choice if you need a overnight stay near IST airport.
GGuest UserGood hotel. I usually choose the Ibis chain of hotels when I travel. There are some suggestions for improving the condition of the room in terms of freshness of renovation and cleanliness. Overall, good. Excellent view from the window. Excellent service. I recommend!
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for one night with my family, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Everything was very clean and well maintained, which immediately made us feel comfortable. After a long flight, Mr. Adil kindly helped us get a comfortable room where we could properly rest.
The service was genuinely warm, the dinner was very good, and Mr. Adil went above and beyond by arranging a late check out, offering us coffee on the house, and even organising a private transfer service to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.
TTogi the Travel addict 113Good price and fine hotel for one night stay. Close to airport. Kind staff. Soundproof is bad, we could hear everything the next door saying and doing plus outside road sound was loud too. Bed mattress was not comfy.
