TTanuja TatiA wonderful, new hotel with a convenient location. The street is quite quiet, the Bosphorus is nearby, and so is the Galata Tower. There are many cafes and cozy restaurants around, plus a pharmacy and a fruit shop within walking distance.
The staff are simply amazing – check-in was fast, they were friendly, and room cleaning was top-notch.
The rooms are bright with good soundproofing. They had everything except bathrobes: a garment steamer, kettle, cups (though no teaspoons), a fridge, safe, slippers, and so on.
The toiletries were of good quality and had a pleasant scent.
Highly recommend!

KKuailechuxing339The Pera Palace Hotel is like a vintage edition. Commissioned in 1892 and opened in 1895, it was designed by the French-Ottoman architect Alexander Vallaury. Its original purpose was to provide luxurious accommodation for Orient Express VIPs, earning it the reputation as Turkey's oldest European-style hotel. It was the first electrified building outside the Ottoman imperial palace and the only place in the city to offer hot water, boasting Istanbul's first electric elevator.
**Key Historical Guests:**
* **Mustafa Kemal Atatürk:** Stayed multiple times starting in 1917. Room 101, where he made important decisions, has now been converted into a museum displaying his belongings.
* **Agatha Christie:** A frequent guest from 1926–1932. Room 411 is famously where she wrote ******* on the Orient Express* and is preserved today as a themed room.
Other notable guests include Hemingway, Churchill, Edward VIII, and Hitchcock, making it a social hub for the era's elite.
The bedding is comfortable, and the location is convenient. I was inspired to visit after watching the Turkish series *Pera Palace*, and I highly recommend it. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent and refined.

1. The breakfast offers a mix of traditional Turkish breakfast and Western options, with a great variety of cheeses and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
2. Although the room is small, it's very tidy and clean. It gets cleaned daily, and the bed sheets are changed every day.
3. The location is excellent. It's within walking distance of Yedikule Fortress and Marble Tower, and only an 8-minute walk to the sea.
4. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with schools, making it very quiet.
5. The hotel's Wi-Fi is super fast and never lags.
Areas for improvement:
1. It would be great if there was an airport shuttle service.

LLibukaidechenghuaThe rooms were, as always, very comfortable, and the bathroom system was excellent. The hotel view was also beautiful, especially from the breakfast restaurant, in the innermost corner, where you can see the strait – truly a delightful breakfast experience. If I had to pick a downside, it would be the surprisingly strict security check to enter The Ritz-Carlton in Istanbul, where both people and bags have to be scanned! I later found out that many diplomats stay here… so… you get it. The hotel provided various chocolates, as shown in the picture. The toiletries cost 45 Euros per bottle if you take them home, but you can use them freely inside the hotel. There were many old maps of Istanbul in the hallway, and my child spent a long time studying them with great interest.

DDAM1From the moment I arrived, the experience was smooth and welcoming. The check-in was fast, and the warm cookie was a lovely touch. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling and ready to help.
Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of fresh options. The hotel’s location was also convenient, close to everything I needed. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the overall comfort during my stay.
Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back!

GGuest UserBad experience staff were not so friendly or polite little rude at times. Apartment was not 5* the finishing touches were very poor! Plug sockets not working. No cooking equipment had to ask for fresh towels after 2 days. Major accident happened in shower where the glass door fell off and landed over my husband and cut him badly. No sorry or apologies moving room with zero help. Not impressed.

SShahida ButtWe wanted to stay at Asian side before going to European side, this hotel is in the city place of atesahir . By bus you can find great breakfast and dinner options and also buy bus you can go for some shopping. You can also go by bus to nearby scenic places like kadikoy Sahili and other places you like , great big rooms with sofa and kitchen fridge etc iconic view … sea side or city view you choose while booking . Highly recommend it great hotel

DDawood Al-SalmanUpon arrival we received a room facing the main street. We could not sleep well because of the noise of the cars, but the next day the room was replaced with a quieter one. Thanks to the understanding staff. Everything was good, but the room's bathroom is old and needs maintenance and updating.

AAkif.My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim .
