GGuest UserWe had a very unpleasant experience with stuff at the lobby , being there for Christmas Eve , me & my sister decide to eat inside the hotel rather to go out so at 10 pm we came down to the lobby where there is lounge area , for almost 15 minutes we saw that the lounge staff is passing us without asking if we want to order so I called one of the waitress and she came toward us with furious gestures before I start asking she said to me do you have a room in the hotel and I said yes , she continues what’s your room number and I replied , again with the cold face and rude behavior she continues ‘ under the name ?’ And I replied, she turned back to her desk without asking us what we would like to order and From her desk she went straight to reception to verify my information!!! My jaws dropped when I saw this , really rude & unprofessional behavior I was in complete shock that she even went to reception to verify the information, but the worst part was that after she verified and actually saw that we are the guest of the hotel she turned back to her desk and continued ignoring us , I never ever seen in my entire life a waitress permits herself to act like this with 5 star hotel guests, at this point we asked another waitress that if she can took our order , we then asked her if the hotel have another restaurant and she replied yes but the kitchen is closed after 10:30 pm , I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to enjoy the hotel facility, the staff are not guest friendly, the dining section is in some floor but for person like me that wants more easy snacks and chill area wasn’t really good option, not to mention that when we came back to our room we really felt so heavy and frustrated by this behavior, we were supposed to go today to lounge before departing but as for yesterday experience we just decide to check out soon and leave the hotel because we didn’t like to tolerate the attitude of this waitress ( she is the short women with short brown hair ) I suggest the general manager to see the video of yesterday and review their staff!

11377441****The hotel boasts an excellent location, consisting of 17 small villas, many of which are right next to the Old Palace. According to our tour guide, these villas were once residences for Ottoman royalty and nobles. The interior decoration is stylish and full of local character. Service is quite prompt; shortly after check-in, they even call to check how you're settling in. Breakfast is also quite extensive. Most importantly, it's incredibly close to all the attractions in the Old City, and they offer golf cart transfers. Since we were traveling with elderly family members, it was a breeze to pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever they got tired. As we were leaving, several staff members warmly bid us farewell and responsibly helped us with our airport transfer vehicle, staying until all our luggage was loaded.
There's one thing I hope the hotel improves upon: the pre-authorization taken at check-in. At checkout, they said it would automatically cancel and there was no need to manually revoke it. However, it's been almost a week since I returned, and the pre-authorization still hasn't been released. When I called my credit card bank to confirm, they informed me that if the hotel doesn't actively cancel it, it could take 20-30 days for it to be automatically reversed.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally positive experience, though there were some areas for improvement.
Upon arrival, the night staff was very friendly and welcoming, which set a great first impression. The hotel itself is one of the cleanest 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in—and I’ve stayed in quite a few. Every corner of the property was spotless, which I really appreciated.
The breakfast, however, could be improved. While the selection was decent, I felt it lacked variety and quality in some aspects. That being said, the restaurant staff provided excellent customer service, making the dining experience more pleasant.
The bed was a little too firm for my preference, which made sleeping slightly uncomfortable. While this is a matter of personal preference, it might be worth considering options for softer bedding or mattress toppers.
The front desk staff during the day were friendly on my first day, but by the second day, I noticed a decline in service. I’m not sure what changed, but the level of attentiveness and hospitality didn’t feel the same. Additionally, I believe the front-line staff should improve their English skills, as clear communication is essential in a 5-star establishment catering to international guests.
While the overall service was good, the hotel’s location is quite far from most attractions (except for the nearby outlets). This means you’ll need to rely on taxis frequently, which can add up in cost and time.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to visit the spa, but based on the rest of the hotel’s standards, I imagine it would have been a great experience.
Overall, while there were a few minor issues, I still had a pleasant stay. With some improvements in breakfast, front desk service consistency, and language skills, this hotel could be truly exceptional.
Would I stay again? Possibly—but I’d consider other options based on location and convenience.

SSI’m a regular visitor to demiray hotel nevertheless they never fail to impress me with their hospitality, kindness, wide range continental breakfast, amazing amenities and wonderful restaurant views. The rooms are always clean comfortable and tidy tthanks to the staff especially Ebro , also the restaurant team was welcoming and friendly especially Jaso, add to that their desk staff whom always making the things easier for us. We are definitely looking forward to come back soon.

GGuest UserGreat hotel with a fantastic location in old town. Walkable distance to most major tourist cities. Very clean and high end feel. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. And the food at the restaurant also quite tasty. The only drawn back was that our room even though technically on the second floor , it was still ground level, and right next to the main door. So late at night with the wall a bit thin we keep getting woken up by people coming in and out. Otherwise we would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were perfect and clean. The size of the room was very good as well.
Close to tram station and only 15 minute walk to Hagia Sophia etc.

GGuest UserDon’t forget valuable things inside the room! Wallet went missing from our room, spent half day to report it to police, to avoid that just be careful, we weren’t. We were a group of 5 and the other two rooms had no problems they were more cautious.
Clean hotel, good location, breakfast with options for everyone.

GGuest UserThe hotel is stunning and the service is impeccable. The breakfast service was very impressive; the best I have ever experienced. My only complaint is that it was noisy from children running around and playing loudly in the public spaces late into the evening hours. I did not expect this from an establishment of such high caliber. The management did not seem very concerned when I brought it up. That being said, it is a magnificent and impressive hotel.

IIrene YLThe location is excellent, a very shot walk distance to Taksim Square. But the room is very old and small, very hard to open suit case and do the packing. The floor in the hot steam room is dirty and smelly. The pavement close to the hotel is uneven, is not easy to carry luggage and walk to the hotel.
