5-Star Hotels in Beihai

This was by far the best homestay experience I've had while traveling. The service was absolutely top-notch, with a dedicated butler providing personalized assistance throughout my stay. Any request I had was met with an immediate and effective response. The room was clean and tidy, and they offered complimentary afternoon tea, a late-night snack, and a delicious and refined breakfast. The mini-fridge in the room was stocked with a great selection of free snacks and soft drinks. The hotel's location and environment were also excellent, perfect for photos, and offered a fantastic spot to watch the sunset over the sea. They provided free shuttle service to and from the pier, and even gave me a farewell gift when I left.

It seems many people bring kids, so I'll write a review specifically for those traveling with elderly parents. First, the conclusion: if you're traveling with seniors, don't hesitate to choose Reef Hotel! When planning, my grandparents said they wanted to see the sea, and I was racking my brain because my grandpa gets out of breath after walking for 5 minutes and climbing three flights of stairs. All the trips I took during school involved a lot of rushing. So, when I saw how close this hotel was to the beach, almost like having a private beach, I booked the entire trip immediately. You could say I came to Weizhou Island just for this hotel. And indeed, even though the money flowed like water (nearly 2000 just for four people to get on and off the island, ugh!), it was truly worth it!!! The service is excellent, messages are replied to instantly, and they pretty much grant every request. The afternoon tea was delicious! There were a few minor misunderstandings during our stay, but solutions were quickly provided. If we wanted more fruit, they'd bring plenty. The breakfast selection is quite rich, especially the yogurt! Plus, the seafood prepared by the hotel is delicious! Both my elderly grandparents had a wonderful time, constantly checking the tide coming in and going out, then lying down to enjoy the sea breeze. It was heartbreaking when they told me they never thought they'd see the sea again or leave their hometown. From that moment, I vowed to take them across the length and breadth of China! In short, there are many high-end B&Bs on the island, but if you're bringing seniors, I truly recommend this one~~

The first impression is that this famous hotel has been scaled up, very large, and many hotels on the island are very small. The welcome service is very good and intimate to contact whether you need to pick up the station. When you arrive at the hotel, the little buddies come out with an umbrella (sunscreen), and all the luggage is also helping us get the room throughout the whole process. When I checked in, I prepared jasmine tea and jasmine-flavored ice towels. I prepared to the heart. I chose the breakfast for the next day in advance. The Cantonese flavor was not bad. The room upgraded us to a sea view room, the sanitary view is very good, there are also employees to introduce how to use the hotel facilities one by one, the courtesy includes afternoon tea and good night products; mosquito repellent water earplugs handheld fans can all take away, I think really thoughtful Since the island was leaving the next day, the hotel also arranged a delivery station, helped pack the meal and gave me a souvenir. Very commendable is the hotel's service, the charger forgot to take it and turned back to help me pick it up, because I brought a large bag of luggage by myself, the two brothers have been sending me to the place where the security check needs to check the ticket, worried that I can't take so many things alone. Thank you very much for the two brothers who sent the station that day, hard work The hotel should have a good atmosphere. The staff will put themselves in the place for the sake of the guests.   The only two shortcomings: 1. The retro door of the hotel is a hidden danger. It is a very ancient physical unlocking method. If two people stay in one person and go out, the door cannot be locked. Although the hotel is very safe, if the hotel will face compensation if something happens, it is recommended to change the way. Don't put yourself in danger. 2 The toilet is not smart (this is ignored)

The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool and hot springs in the courtyard are amazing, a favorite with the kids, and playing in the shade means no worries about sunburn. There's a dedicated driver for transportation, and the kitchen can process seafood for you. This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit!

This stay exceeded my expectations! The guesthouse is in a fantastic location, making it easy to get around, and the surrounding amenities are excellent. The room was clean and tidy, with a warm and stylish decor, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the details. The bedding was soft and comfortable, so I slept really soundly. The host was incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to answer questions and even offered thoughtful recommendations for things to do, which made me feel right at home. The overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, and it's fantastic value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

I stayed 2 nights at Shangri-La, 2 nights at a B&B, and this was the last stop, so here's my overall review. Pros: 1. Newly renovated with new facilities, all top brands, and excellent hardware. 2. Right next to Silver Beach, very close to the sea, and easy access through the back gate. 3. Great room layout with a balcony, convenient for drying clothes. Cons: 1. The slide is unsafe. My child got injured and bled after going down it once. This is a deal-breaker; basic safety wasn't ensured. Luckily, it was on the last two days, otherwise, our whole vacation would have been ruined (although they offered a kids' playground activity as compensation, I'd much rather my child be safe. I still have to face criticism back home). 2. The hotel lacks depth. The swimming pool area has young trees and gets direct sun, so it's practically unusable during the day. The staff is younger than Shangri-La's, which is a plus, but something still feels off, probably due to a lack of experience. 3. There's ongoing construction nearby, and the entrance isn't enclosed, so it's a bit noisy during the day. If I had to choose again, I'd prefer an older brand, even if the hardware isn't as good. This hotel was pricier but offered the worst experience.

The farm has a very relaxing atmosphere and is not far from the seaside. The housekeeper will proactively contact you the day before check-in to understand the details of the itinerary and establish a service group. After arriving at the port, a dedicated person will pick you up and deliver you to the farm. After knowing the accommodation preference, we will promptly assist in adding extra beds. After check-in, we will introduce the distribution and strategy of Weizhou Island attractions in a clear and concise way. With the assistance of the staff, we rented an electric car, which is convenient for going anywhere around the island. Before returning, the stewards took the initiative to confirm the flight information and arrange for delivery to the station, and promptly reminded us that the ship was temporarily suspended to avoid unnecessary trouble. Give your children a souvenir before leaving the store, which is thoughtful and thoughtful.

The hotel is quite new and the decoration is very beautiful. When I checked in, the front desk lady introduced the tourist attractions on the island and gave the island map. The hardware facilities are also good and the paper quality is good. The drinks cabinet on the first floor of the hotel can be picked up by yourself and there are welcome fruits. There is a car rental at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. Booked for two nights, the next day back to the room card can not be opened, go to the front desk to authorize, this is not scientific, or you can remind the guests in advance, go back to the room before the authorization.

For our family trip to Beihai, we chose the Hualuxe Resort Beihai Silver Beach, and the most memorable part was the hotel's organized mudflat exploring activity. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. The hotel boasts an excellent location; it's just a short walk from the hotel directly to the mudflats. This saved us from long drives and the hassle of commuting back and forth, making it especially convenient for families with children. The hotel thoughtfully informs guests about the mudflat exploring assembly times based on the tidal schedule and arranges for professional local guides to lead the way. Our guide was very familiar with the entire sea area and extremely experienced. Before setting off, they patiently explained safety precautions for the mudflats, taught us how to identify tidal risks, and shared fascinating facts about various small marine creatures. They showed us how to find crabs, clams, and snails, and even demonstrated digging techniques hands-on. They were both professional and patient. The hotel also kindly provided a complete set of mudflat exploring tools, including small buckets, shovels, and gloves. This meant we didn't have to purchase and carry them ourselves, lightening our luggage burden for the trip. The mudflat ecosystem was fantastic, and the children were thrilled, following the guide to search for small creatures hidden in the sand. They were incredibly excited when they caught small crabs and shells, fully immersed in the joy of the sea. The entire mudflat exploring process was safe and well-organized. The guide supervised us throughout, constantly paying attention to the safety of both adults and children, so we didn't have to worry about the tide coming in. After the activity, returning to the hotel, we could easily rinse off the mud and sand, which was very convenient. Beyond the fantastic mudflat exploring program, the hotel itself maintained high standards. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the service was attentive, and there was a rich breakfast spread. Coupled with child-friendly amenities like the pet park, it's a one-stop solution for a relaxing holiday. We didn't have to blindly research tides or find mudflats ourselves; the hotel took care of everything. A special shout-out to our butler, Tianzhu, who was warm, generous, and organized everything perfectly, making our stay worry-free and reassuring.

Our stay at Dhawa Beihai Weizhou Island during our Weizhou Island trip exceeded expectations! The hotel environment is beautiful, with tropical gardens blending with sea views, and the pool opens directly onto the beach, offering a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding comfortable, and we received welcome fruit upon arrival – thoughtful touches indeed. Special shout-out to Amy at the front desk! She made check-in efficient and smooth, and proactively shared information about island tours, sunset spots, and the hotel shuttle schedule. When we asked about getting to the island, car rental, and clam digging, Amy patiently and thoroughly answered all our questions with a gentle and professional attitude. She was always ready to help and even kindly reminded us about important travel tips for the island. Any small requests were promptly addressed, making us feel genuinely cared for. The hotel also offers pier transfer services, making travel hassle-free, and the breakfast selection was extensive. The overall vacation vibe was relaxed and comfortable. It's a highly recommended resort on Weizhou Island, and we'd choose Dhawa Beihai Weizhou Island again on our next visit. A big thank you once more to Amy for her attentive service!
