"For our family trip to Beihai, we chose the Hualuxe Resort Beihai Silver Beach, and the most memorable part was the hotel's organized mudflat exploring activity. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. The hotel boasts an excellent location; it's just a short walk from the hotel directly to the mudflats. This saved us from long drives and the hassle of commuting back and forth, making it especially convenient for families with children. The hotel thoughtfully informs guests about the mudflat exploring assembly times based on the tidal schedule and arranges for professional local guides to lead the way. Our guide was very familiar with the entire sea area and extremely experienced. Before setting off, they patiently explained safety precautions for the mudflats, taught us how to identify tidal risks, and shared fascinating facts about various small marine creatures. They showed us how to find crabs, clams, and snails, and even demonstrated digging techniques hands-on. They were both professional and patient. The hotel also kindly provided a complete set of mudflat exploring tools, including small buckets, shovels, and gloves. This meant we didn't have to purchase and carry them ourselves, lightening our luggage burden for the trip. The mudflat ecosystem was fantastic, and the children were thrilled, following the guide to search for small creatures hidden in the sand. They were incredibly excited when they caught small crabs and shells, fully immersed in the joy of the sea. The entire mudflat exploring process was safe and well-organized. The guide supervised us throughout, constantly paying attention to the safety of both adults and children, so we didn't have to worry about the tide coming in. After the activity, returning to the hotel, we could easily rinse off the mud and sand, which was very convenient. Beyond the fantastic mudflat exploring program, the hotel itself maintained high standards. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the service was attentive, and there was a rich breakfast spread. Coupled with child-friendly amenities like the pet park, it's a one-stop solution for a relaxing holiday. We didn't have to blindly research tides or find mudflats ourselves; the hotel took care of everything. A special shout-out to our butler, Tianzhu, who was warm, generous, and organized everything perfectly, making our stay worry-free and reassuring."

"The Crowne Plaza BEIHAI SILVER BEACH by IHG boasts a fantastic beachfront location with excellent views from the window. Guests staying here receive a complimentary 'Great Nation's Heavy Duty Equipment' experience voucher, which is quite interesting. During the day, it's very sunny, so you can enjoy playing table tennis or billiards at the hotel. In the evening, a swim in the sea is a wonderful experience. The hotel's breakfast is quite good, and the afternoon tea is also exquisite. The only drawback is the occasional noise from the bar at night, which usually stops around 10 PM. Overall, I slept quite well."

"The romantic nights in Beihai are hidden away at the Marriott Starlight Bar ✨ When checking in, the front desk staff, Alan, recommended the Starlight Bar, which is perfect to visit right after sunset. Enjoy the salty sea breeze, sip on some drinks, and listen to music. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, all you see is the dark sea and twinkling stars. It's a great spot for a relaxed evening with friends, capturing the gentle essence of a seaside night."

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's just a stone's throw from the beach, so you can literally walk out and enjoy the sea. Unlike some trendy B&Bs, this is a legitimate hotel, and it shows in the quality of their bathroom fixtures, linens, and excellent hygiene. I initially booked for one night but extended my stay for another in a garden-view room. For families with kids, I highly recommend the garden-view rooms; the balcony provides much better ventilation, which is a plus since it's a new hotel! Breakfast is served until 2 PM, and they'll even deliver takeout right to your room. The shuttle service is on-call and super attentive. Downstairs, there's a small commercial area with restaurants and a beachside coffee shop. It has a chic, advanced aesthetic, almost giving off an Aranya vibe. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the pool. If the pool were on that open beach area outside the lobby, it would be absolutely perfect."

"Driving here, parking was very convenient. We stayed in a sea-view room with a balcony, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views. You could see the ocean as soon as you opened the curtains. In the evening, we sat on the balcony and waited for the stunning 'orange sea' sunset over Guantouling – the ambiance was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and it was very clean with complete amenities. The hotel also has an outdoor infinity pool, with a separate shallow area for children, making it very safe for kids to play. There's also an independent children's playground where kids can run around freely, giving parents a break. The breakfast selection was rich, with seafood congee, noodles, Cantonese dim sum, and local snacks – lots of choices and good taste. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Compared to Silver Beach, there are far fewer tourists here, so you can enjoy a leisurely stroll and collect pebbles. The hotel service was warm, thoughtful, and responsive."

"The hotel's location is excellent, close to Golden Beach, and the sea-view rooms offer great value for money. The service is also good. It's a top choice for a vacation, even if you just want to relax at the hotel. There are plenty of activities available on-site, making for a very pleasant stay. My only minor gripe is that the online reviews feel a bit too contrived, which might give a slightly strange first impression."

"The hotel is pretty good, offering great value for money. The lobby and facilities have a very down-to-earth feel, and for a 30-year-old hotel, it's remarkably well-maintained. The sea view from the room is beautiful, and there's a pool and beach. The nearby old street is very close, so the location and environment are both excellent. The service is also great; Lulu at the front desk arranged a very satisfying room and gave good recommendations for local food. Highly recommended!"

"I stayed 2 nights at Shangri-La, 2 nights at a B&B, and this was the last stop, so here's my overall review. Pros: 1. Newly renovated with new facilities, all top brands, and excellent hardware. 2. Right next to Silver Beach, very close to the sea, and easy access through the back gate. 3. Great room layout with a balcony, convenient for drying clothes. Cons: 1. The slide is unsafe. My child got injured and bled after going down it once. This is a deal-breaker; basic safety wasn't ensured. Luckily, it was on the last two days, otherwise, our whole vacation would have been ruined (although they offered a kids' playground activity as compensation, I'd much rather my child be safe. I still have to face criticism back home). 2. The hotel lacks depth. The swimming pool area has young trees and gets direct sun, so it's practically unusable during the day. The staff is younger than Shangri-La's, which is a plus, but something still feels off, probably due to a lack of experience. 3. There's ongoing construction nearby, and the entrance isn't enclosed, so it's a bit noisy during the day. If I had to choose again, I'd prefer an older brand, even if the hardware isn't as good. This hotel was pricier but offered the worst experience."

"This stay exceeded my expectations. Xiao Xian at the front desk and Xiao Qiang, the concierge, were both incredibly attentive and patient. The room was clean and tidy, with good natural light and ventilation, and the soft bedding ensured a very comfortable sleep. The hotel also has an outdoor pool, a kids' playground, a gym, and a laundry room on the first floor. Plus, you can book sea-foraging activities, making the overall value for money excellent. The hotel even offers a free shuttle bus to Silver Beach Pier, which makes getting around very convenient. This hotel truly takes the stress out of travel and accommodation. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit."

"Our stay at Dhawa Beihai Weizhou Island during our Weizhou Island trip exceeded expectations! When we asked about getting to the island, car rental, and clam digging, Amy patiently and thoroughly answered all our questions with a gentle and professional attitude. She was always ready to help and even kindly reminded us about important travel tips for the island. Any small requests were promptly addressed, making us feel genuinely cared for. The hotel also offers pier transfer services, making travel hassle-free, and the breakfast selection was extensive. The overall vacation vibe was relaxed and comfortable. It's a highly recommended resort on Weizhou Island, and we'd choose Dhawa Beihai Weizhou Island again on our next visit. A big thank you once more to Amy for her attentive service!"
