5-Star Hotels in Lombok

Our stay at The Lombok Lodge was nothing short of outstanding. I have traveled and stayed at many hotels around the world, but this place is truly unique. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home – it’s not just a hotel, it’s a home away from home. The food was consistently delicious, both in the mornings and evenings. The attention to detail in every aspect is remarkable, and the staff made our stay unforgettable. Every employee knew our names and greeted us warmly, making us feel like part of the family. They even surprised us with special touches for our birthdays, which meant a lot. A highlight was the wonderful day we spent at Bagno di Gili – a magical experience. I am not usually an emotional person, but I had tears in my eyes when it was time to leave. The Lombok Lodge is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and feel truly cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend every person to experience this hotel at least once – if you are looking for something truly special and want to be genuinely taken care of, this is the place.

This hotel is truly exceptional. Having traveled to over a dozen countries, this is the place that truly embodies the spirit of a completely relaxing vacation. The serene island scenery, the warm smiles of every staff member, their attentive and enthusiastic service, the extremely comfortable and spacious rooms, and the meticulously designed and maintained gardens everywhere you look. My favorite private pool, delicious food – once you're here, there's no need to plan where to go tomorrow; just relax completely and enjoy this island paradise. The hotel provides everything you need. Fresh seasonal tropical fruits are offered daily, and every evening there's turndown service with unique daily treats, along with the next day's resort activity schedule. Horse riding, yoga and meditation, painting, and sculpting are all available and free, with different options each day. Paid activities include golf and spa services, plus a monthly seafood BBQ featuring very fresh, locally caught seafood – highly recommended. For breakfast, there are multiple set menus; I recommend the Eggs Benedict. The hotel also offers its own hiking and diving programs at reasonable prices. Remember to book airport transfers in advance, as the only downside is its distance from the airport (about a 2-hour drive) and commercial areas.

Pondok Santi Estate is truly an exceptional place to stay. We stayed at Pondok Santi Estate in Gili Trawangan for four nights, and from the very first moment, everything exceeded our expectations. The level of service is outstanding — a true 5 out of 5 — and the experience feels much more like a five-star luxury resort rather than a hotel. Every detail is beautifully designed and perfectly maintained. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping is impeccable, and the staff is attentive without ever being intrusive. The restaurant experience deserves special praise. The food quality, presentation, and service were consistently excellent. Breakfasts were a highlight of our stay — fresh, delicious, and served in a peaceful, beautiful setting that made every morning feel special. What truly sets this resort apart is the warmth and professionalism of the team. From the room staff to the restaurant team, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. Personally, Gili Trawangan itself is not a destination that impressed me greatly. However, Pondok Santi Estate completely transformed our experience and made the island a place I would happily return to again — specifically because of this resort. We feel very fortunate to have stayed here and are deeply grateful for such a memorable and high-quality experience. Pondok Santi Estate is a true sanctuary of comfort, elegance, and exceptional hospitality, and we would not hesitate to return.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It definitely doesn't live up to its price. The hotel grounds are very well-maintained and beautiful, and the breakfasts are fantastic. The food at the beach club was also delicious, though expensive. However, the room wasn't exactly 'wow' – you could tell it was a bit dated. We were shocked that they didn't provide toothbrushes; how is that possible for a 5-star hotel? And the staff was a bit odd – many spoke English in a way that was hard to understand, and they seemed to invade personal space (having every single staff member greet you and ask how you are is a bit much, in my opinion). Plus, one of the waiters was persistently pushing a snorkeling tour on us. Perhaps it's the best you can get on this island, but having stayed in luxurious villas in Bali for half the price, we expected more.

A Slice of Paradise at Innit Lombok From the moment we arrived at Innit Lombok, we knew we were in for something special. Nestled along Lombok's breathtaking coastline, this resort perfectly marries contemporary luxury with the raw beauty of nature, offering a sanctuary for the weary traveler. Our room was a sanctuary of style and comfort, boasting panoramic ocean views that instantly put us at ease. The modern design melded seamlessly with touches of local charm, creating a restful retreat after our adventures. The staff at Innit Lombok deserve a special mention for their exceptional hospitality. They anticipated our needs with genuine warmth and friendliness, which made our stay all the more memorable. Dining at the resort was a culinary delight. The menu highlighted fresh with seafood dishes that stood out for their taste and presentation. In a nutshell, Innit Lombok is a gem. Its enchanting surroundings, exemplary service, and delightful accommodations make it an ideal choice on this beautiful island. It's a place we'll be dreaming of until we return!

A very unique experience! The hotel wasn't crowded, giving it a secluded, 'away from it all' feeling. The beach is also private to the hotel, so much so that we didn't want to leave the property at all. The pool was incredibly comfortable too. All meals were taken care of by the hotel, and the prices were quite reasonable.

We loved this hotel in every way, it was in the most perfect location, incredibly quiet, on the most perfect tropical beach, with the most stunning swimming pools. The rooms were amazing large and with an extremely comfortable bed, we adored our large outdoor bathroom with the round circular bath and overhead rain fall shower. This hotel was our favourite place to stay so far with its beauty, antiques all over the grounds and in the most idealic setting. The staff were incredibly attentive, kind and thoughtful. I very much hope to return and can not recommend it enough.

It was amazing stay in Pullman Lombok! Full of nature, great local foods, and nice activities. Especially the sunset I saw when I joined the walking tour was unforgettable. If there’s a place to improve, I’d say they could announce their complimentary transportation service between the hotel and Kuta. If I knew this, I wouldn’t have had to be so worried when i noticed that there’s no public transport (even grab) in Kuta. But anyways, overall it was a great experience to stay there and I’d definitely come back again :)

This hotel is magnificent in every way! The rooms are equipped with everything you could need, including a kettle, a safe, toothbrush and paste sets, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and even body lotion. The bathroom humidity is low, so swimsuits dried completely overnight. The huge bed was incredibly comfortable with soft pillows – we slept like babies! The staff are very attentive and always smiling, excellent service! There are two swimming pools on the property; we particularly liked the second, longer one, further from reception. You can also rent bicycles for the whole day! The breakfasts are delicious. Best of all, turtles swim right in front of the hotel – we absolutely loved watching them! It was hard to leave this paradise!!!

Probably not worth it for a long stay (we stayed a week. 3-4 nights were fine. The villa was a bit tired, and a few tiles had chipped off in the pool. Mostly on the walls, so it wasn't particularly uncomfortable. It seemed like there wasn't enough furniture in the living room for a 3-bedroom villa. There were three of us, and it was tight. Six people wouldn't fit in the living room. The view is superb. The restaurant is good, but not cheap, even compared to other 5* hotels. By the way, the room service menu has higher prices for the same dishes than in the restaurant itself. I've never noticed that before. The staff is nice. The beach is nice, but not for swimming; the waves roll in both at high and low tide. There were a lot of pestering people. You can go to the right if you're facing the sea, about 25 minutes away, where there are nice wild beaches with calm and clear water (pictured).
